You can get Metallica's "Master Of Puppets" box set for $149 on Amazon right now and it has 10 CDs, vinyl and DVDs. The amount of songs you get is insane. Compare that to the GNR box and it's not even close.

heads up that you can feel free to fast forward a bit if you’re just here for duff.
I have the full soundtrack. it has a few versions on it. Found this amazon link to the single. Looks like it's a hot item: https://www.amazon.com/Obsession-Slash/dp/B000000ONY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482430342&sr=8-1&keywords=marta+sanchez+slash
There's an old (1991) book called Appetite for Destruction by Danny Sugerman. I read that a long time ago. IIRC it was OK but obviously not up-to-date. The amazon reviews are kinda bad though, so maybe I'm misremembering.
Looks like that photo was probably taken during the shoot for one of his Rolling Stones covers.

I see that Def Leppard has already done this with Hysteria. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Hysteria-Def-Leppard/dp/B072QFLZFP/ £75 for a collection of B-sides and live versions. Only for the dedicated I reckon! If you're going to spend money on a band, the best thing you can do is see them live...
I didn't catch any of the Soundgarden "reunion" shows, but I was lucky enough to catch them a few times in Seattle "back in the day". The best was the show they did right before they broke up, at the Showbox in Seattle. It's a club that holds maybe 800 people and it was awesome. I also got to hang out with Cornell once because I was in a band (we never did shit) who was managed by Soozy Bridges, who happened to be good friends with Susan Silver, who happened to be married to Chris Cornell. We went to Soozy's for a band meeting, and Chris and Susan were sitting on the couch watching "Shogun". It was fucking surreal. I shot the shit w/ Chris and played with his chihuahua's (or some tiny breed of dog) and sipped sake over the course of a couple of hours. To this day I don't believe that actually happened to me. Our band was called Laughing Head, btw. I doubt you'll find anything online. I haven't searched in years. A guy names Kendall Fudge was the mastermind. I sat back and played bass.
EDIT: Holy shit, the CD is on Amazon! FYI I was a hired hand and didn't play on the CD, nor am I pictured on the album artwork: https://www.amazon.com/Smiling-Waves-Laughing-Head/dp/B000KGE67M
