This one, but I would guess they’re all pretty much the same. I just picked this one because it has the auto feature and was on sale during prime day.
Sure! This is the one I got
I’m guessing any of the ones that have the same color scheme are made by the same manufacturer though, so if you find one that’s more discounted, maybe worth saving a few $ 🙂
Really good questions, thank you!
I won't have stitches or staples near my pubic area, but I did think about the flexibility problem. I can reach now (even though slightly overweight) but I doubt I'll be able to while recovering from surgery. I fear that if I shave I'll have painful re-growth right when I'm recovering and can't reach to do anything about it. That said, I found this device (which is for men but has good reviews from women) and it has the added advantage of being able to shave when swiped in either direction. You can see it in the video. I wondered if this would allow me to attack any prickly hairs even when I'm recovering.
I didn't realize that waxing would give me 5-8 weeks before I'd experience regrowth. I have 10 weeks between my first two surgeries, and since you have to have some growth to re-wax (correct?) I guess I can plan to wax before both the first and the second.
Are there any home waxing kits that are at all effective? I can't imagine going somewhere to have this done. I was injured by someone waxing my eyebrows, so I can't imagine letting a technician have access to my vulva! I know people do this all the time, but if I could avoid it I would like to.
Thank you so much for helping me think this through!
When I bought it, it was under a different name. This is the one however. It just stinks that it requires so many treatments vs some that are 1 time a week..

Hopefully it’s ok to post! I used this one.
It’s one of the cheaper options, but it has worked great for me! Keep in mind it does have a cord. They have others that are cordless that you could use in the shower. So it depends on your preference of use!
Oh my gosh yes this helps. While yes, I have since fixed this specific issue with my chest (kinda just by popping all the ingrowns and exfoliating the area more from then on), I'm definitely experiencing what you mentioned on my ass and upper thighs. In fact I've been dealing with folliculitis pretty much everywhere below my waist for I think almost two years now.
If you could provide a link to where you bought this AHA/BHA stuff or maybe a more specific product name, that would help out a lot. I did find some of the serum on Amazon by a company called Paulas Choice but it's $60 and it says it's for the face so I want to make sure that's what you used.
Nair burned my skin but veet has a sensitive one that didn’t burn at all and removed a lot of hair! I just had to leave it on for longer than 5 minutes veet
I'll be honest. Mine is a really cheap one that I'm shocked even works. My husband got it not knowing what to look for lol

Perhaps this may help! It explains briefly the diff types of laser for skin tone. I'm not sure what is offered at the place you're looking at :)
I found this on Amazon, looks pretty similar (I think?) and the reviews are...definitive😅 I got duped last year with the Rose Skinco thing, so am being super cautious.. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Magic-Crystal-Painless-Remover-Technology/dp/B08J4BJK18
May be you can try Bosidin. Use the latest generation of Optimal Pulse Technology (OPT) of both laser and IPL hair removal technology. There are two sales channels, Amazon and official website.

I have the Braun Silk Epil 5 and am very happy with it. Sometimes it doesn’t recognize my skin and won’t flash but I’m pretty sure the Phillips Lumea uses the exact same sensor. Other than that quirk it is very quick between flashes and has done a good job reducing my body hair.

I feel bad that you’re a teen and some people have gone to the extremes of suggestions: I am 27 pale with dark hair and feel your pain! My number one top suggestion (it hurts but you can do it yourself and you don’t have to keep spending money on hair removal) is this tool: TRIXES Facial Hair Remover - Spring Epilator Tool for Quick Hair Removal - Effective Threading Alternative https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01JJ40D18/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_PFHW4Q5B9RBDWGTSK5XR I’ve used it for over five years and find it therapeutic - it hurts around the nose FYI! They also sell it in primark if you’re embarrassed (I was) about asking your parents) below I’m going to list what I tried and the pros and cons or them
Tool with link posted (also on eBay doesn’t have to be that specific one: ✅ great for in a rush, threads the hair so it grows back smooth, cheap and doesn’t need replacing ❌ not always the most precise - I go back with tweezers, can be tricky around the hair line
Hair removal cream: ✅ cheap, quick 5-7mins so can be done whilst getting ready ❌ do NOT leave on for 10 mins - it will burn your face, can make your skin sore so do it in the evening as some moisturisers etc have stung immediately after Razor: ✅ quick and the eyebrow razors are available everywhere and speedy, great for makeup application ❌ growing back and stubble, needs a commitment
Bleaching: ✅ not hair removal but I’ve seen often, doesn’t hurt ❌ some of my friends have white moustaches which isn’t as obvious as a dark one but still not the most feminine (apologies if I offend anyone)
Good luck! At 27 and changing my legs since the age of 10 including laser hair removal at 23 (didnt work) I know how it feels being self conscious facial hair but also not wanting to do it everyday
It's incredibly painful for most people as these hairs are connected to the mucous membrane that's lining the inside of your nose.
I only tweeze the few hairs that are at the edge of the nostrils, the rest get trimmed with one of these small "round" trimmers like this one https://www.amazon.com/Panasonic-Mens-Trimmer-Hypoallergenic-Blade/dp/B086RHFJJV/ref=sr_1_9?_encoding=UTF8&c=ts&dchild=1&keywords=Nose+%26+Ear+Hair+Trimmers&qid=1615808581&s=beauty&sr=1-9&ts_id=234950011
Doesn't matter what brand it is or if it says "for men" or not -They are all the same and work well.
*I would recommend being a bit conservative and trying not to trim all of your nose hair as your nose and overall health will benefit from having some amount of nose hair.
Just try to gauge what nose hairs are actually visible to others and need to be cut, and then keep the rest.

This was an invaluable reference for me.
So! I epilate a lot AND my wife is also trans and I’ve been guiding her hair removal journey, so I have the relevant experience.
Don’t actually shower right before you epilate, this makes your hairs more prone to breakage. This probably isn’t an issue with the frequency of your epilation, but you also want to trim the hair to just a few millimeters long before epilation, this also reduces breakage.
Exfoliation is good, I also have skin that just needs a lot of physical exfoliation. But don’t use a pumice stone, that’s way too rough. I use this thing. I also recommend Stridex in the red box if you have trouble with ingrowns—they’re cheap enough for your entire body and the correct ph range for the salicylic acid to work. They do have menthol, so if you’re sensitive to that be aware. Use them after epilation and let dry ~20 min before applying lotion. As you shouldn’t epilate post shower, that should help with getting out the door.
I honestly would also probably recommend getting another epilator, for the amount of area you’re trying to cover. I have a Silk-Epil 9 and that works well, and I’m about to get an Emojoi 72-tweezer model to save more time. Get something with a built in light so you can make sure you’ve actually gotten all the hair in the area. Use a smaller size for pits and bikini area.
That’s everything I can think of. You’ve got the right idea, I do think the showers and potentially hair length are your biggest problems right now. I hope this was helpful, good luck.
