I couldn't get any of your Amazon links to work. But for MY $300, I've try to find something simple. For MY money, wattage wouldn't matter as much as good, well rounded sound. I'd get something I've heard before that I know I like the sound of.
or maybe
I use this, cheap, never had a problem with it. You can output the audio on rca (red/white) or digital using coaxial. Video outputs on HDMI.

Thanks for your response! This may be more trouble than it's worth. I may just rip all of out, toss out the speakers & volume controls, leave the wiring, and patch the drywall. That's my project for tomorrow!
Sorry to waste your time. Thanks!
Anyway, I took some photos for giggles: Home audio mess! https://imgur.com/gallery/eMfXXH7
Looking at the volume controllers, it says 20v. But there are 17 of those volume controls for 36 speakers (one controller has the speakers missing).
I've had some success connecting a few rooms with a TS8D (https://www.amazon.com/Theater-Solutions-TS8D-Source-Selector/dp/B002C8DH9Y) with the input to that coming from channel B of the ONKYO TX-SR505. This is probably where your saying that I need an additional amplifier? But that would still put the same music in each of the rooms (not a problem).
I guess I was just wondering about the four bedrooms and maybe the kitchen area; if I could play music separately as a choice, Bluetooth or RCA Jack?
The surround sound setup is confusing, yet straightforward connected to the ONKYO.
The rest of house speakers are all straight runs to a central hub. Except for the basement, and now that I think of it, the four bedrooms must be daisy chained in some way b/c I just have one 4-pair wire into the main area labeled (upper level). Which means that my illegible draw is not only upside down, it's wrong too.
Sorry to waste your time!
no inputs or outputs at all? Can't see much from this picture.
edit: per amazon, lennox audio looks to be some sort of scam. it could be the soundbar in this package though, and not have an input because it's bluetooth? idk man, hate to say it but it doesn't look promising.
Try looking on amazon. Any speaker that’s rated for over 100 Watts will work for you. A quick search came up with this.
Hey there, You're cheapest bet would be this : https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-R-S202BL-Stereo-Receiver/dp/B01EMQI2CU
My dad uses it with a pair of elac b5, and it's decent for the money! Should suffice your needs .
I bought a pair of powered Bluetooth speakers for outdoors, but wish I had gone with something like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F0H8TOC?psc=1 with a pair of https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-NS-AW350B-All-Weather-Outdoor-Speakers/dp/B0001VHARO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1485907544&sr=8-2&keywords=yamaha+outdoor+speakers Add a chromecast audio to stream too and you are set. These aren't recommendations just suggestions.
~~There is really no need to replace the stereo if you don't want to, just get something like this, They work great. It does add an extra remote into the mix but if you spend most of your time on the same source then it's almost a moot issue.~~
Edit: sorry it looks like the reciver doesn't support digital input so scratch that idea.
