Going to Steak and Shake is second on the list. I will politely disagree with Forbes.
EDIT: Cool! Walmart is a local landmark! Can't wait to visit!
Maybe try to drown it out with white noise? I have a 10 hour storm/rain thing that I put on when construction or other noise irritates me. Also an Asian (I can't remember her name) Hulugan told us to try "rainymood.com", which is pretty cool. I can't yank her name out of my memory banks at the moment. She worked with animals and rescued pit bulls.
Edit: Jessica! Found it in the site background image :)
Are you SERIOUSLY trying to imply that the weight and number of your negative comments regarding the left are anywhere near equal to the negativity you've handed to the right? Your preferences have become glaringly obvious over time.
Just consider this an opportunity to set the record straight.
Do you prefer Allende over Pinochet? Sandinistas over Contras? then say so. If you want to play the "they're all the same" game and the republican presidents that engineered those coups should have been impeached for wasting taxpayer money, then say that. You think the Bolsheviks weren't any worse than the tsars, then say that. Do you think it was wrong when we invaded Russia?
He's probably using a VPN (virtual private network). I've seen them for as little as $3-$5/month (US). Here are some relevant articles: LifeHacker: Why you should use a VPN , and Lifehacker: The 5 best VPNs. There are also simple, free, 'single use' proxies, like "HideMyAss" that allow you to visit sites that are blocked for whatever reason, like NSFW or country restrictions. Proxies allow you to appear as if you reside in another country, but for streaming TV you might need a full-blown VPN, not a simple free proxy (I'm not sure). With the simple version, you just go through your browser, with no software involved. You go to the free proxy site, type in whatever web address you want to visit through their site, choose a server in the country you wanna seem to be in, and you're off.
Do not use the simple free proxy method with ANY sort of financial transaction. I've heard that's really dangerous. Also, be aware that HideMYAss and some others log your activity, potentially exposing you in the case of a lawsuit. Premium VPNs protect users who stream or download shady content (piracy), because their own ISP can't track them, and even in the event that an outside agency tries to take the VPN service provider to court, the good ones make a point of keeping no record of their user's activity, so there is no information to sue for. You should look carefully into the privacy policy and record keeping of any service you're thinking of using, because it varies by company.
Spotify Free has some commercials but you get to pick the actual song/artist/album you want to hear, or playlist, or radio station. It's also unlimited, they won't cut you off.
I like PIA overseas, they have a bunch of US servers and they are all extremely fast, plus they have a good app for just about any device.
Edit: Talking about the VPN here. PIA "Private Internet Access."
