Honestly, since last year, due to pandemic I have switched to full-body and face shaving. I usually use the Venus razor for body and for face I use those eyebrow and face shavers you get from Bombay shaving company like this one : https://www.amazon.in/Bombay-Shaving-Company-Facial-Removal/dp/B08PCPMXVS/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=face+shaving+razors&qid=1621841528&sr=8-5
For eyebrows, I simply tweeze the extra hairs outside my arch/near brow-bone and then draw a rough outline and shave it.
For me visible body hair starts growing within about 10 days, so approximately every 2 weeks I shave my entire body and face. No, I didn't deal with extra thick hair growth, stubs, cuts, rashes/allergies and other shaving myths. In fact, when I was getting regular parlour waxed I was facing ingrown hair issues, but not from shaving though. I have decided to continue shaving as hair removal technique for my entire body and face, and once in a while go for body waxing during some functions and eyebrow threading to maintain it's shape.
If waxing keeps my skin smooth for about 1.5 months, I have observed shaving does so for max 2 weeks, which is fine I guess.Since shaving supplies are easily available, affordable ,quick and painless I don't mind continuing it for a life time. Do let me know if there are better feasible at-home options.
You can edit the post and add. That could be one way. Another would be to go to sites like https://imgbb.com/ and upload the images. Please don't upload any personal information.
Hi I am suddenly experiencing hairfall for last 2-3 weeks. Around 30-40 hairs per day. What could be the reason? Any guesses? I use to this shampoo:
I have been using this shampoo for past 4 months
I can recommend Cipla Excela Moisturiser and Neutrogena Oil-free Moisture. I have used both and they work great in my opinion.

I bought this one from Amazon when I travelled. It's a good quality bag. I'm not a big makeup person, so for the few makeup items, I used a different pouch.
For clothes and stuff, I used two big suitcases. In retrospect, I'd probably carry a huge hiking bag and a suitcase (along with the carry-on). There's only so much you can take, though.
For clothes, the amazonbasics packing cubes are pretty neat, so much stuff will fit, and the space they will occupy is fixed.
Pickles, homemade foods, etc take precedence over clothes always. Whichever kitchen appliances are your everyday ones - like a pressure cooker, etc, you can wrap it in your bedsheet and put in your hiking bag (to avoid noise). Some extra stuff can fit in the container as well.
Does a pretty decent job for the intimate areas. Have not tried it on body though.
I'm talking about this one https://www.amazon.in/dp/B006LXDMCS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_6MQM1AP8AX9SNBXZMQ7S?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I use it for acne on my chest so I thought you meant this only.
There's a tip that a friend of mine gave me: use drinking (aquaguard) water for the last rinse, typically after your conditioner or mask. She said she completely stopped getting split ends a month after sticking to this habit. It honestly helps!
Apart from that, if you're someone for whom oil works well, then you can try this amla hair oil. I too have oily hair near the scalp with dry tips, and this is a thin yet nourishing oil that's easy to wash off, and moisturisers my hair without weighing it down.
One more tip: this excellent but expensive acai berry oil. Apply three to four drops on damp hair post wash, like a serum. Religiously for 1 month at least.
I purchased this in 2020 March. It is not cheap but I got very good use of it over the pandemic months to cut my parents' and my own hair.
I use exfoliating gloves twice a week or so. Very satisfying how much dead skin comes off ☺ But I gotta lotion well after, or stuff gets real dry and ashy.
Holy grail: this mask by Indus Valley.
Has been working great for my curly hair. Great for the scalp too. :)
Use something like this for tubes!!
Its totally worth it!

Huge fan !!!
I never thought I'd be singing praises of body lotion, especially of vaseline. It's so creamy and jelly like. Spreads nicely on body and leaves pleasant smell. I started to use it since last 15 days. Oh boy I'm so pleased. It made my body supple and soft. After using it even my palms became soft.
Earlier i was worried about it being retinol lotion. As I thought I'd need to use sunscreen on my entire body too . It seems I don't need it.
I purchased it from https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07KC7ZBDF/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_apa_i_vAqSFb609Q30J?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
The quality is pretty good. I also took it to a local jewellery workshop to check if it was kansa and it is infact kansa. The manufacturer also called me to check if it was working well for me. The technique is everything with this though. Always work upwards or sideways . Massage at the lymph nodes. If you Google you will find many resources about this. My technique is a amalgamation of a bunch of videos and what works for me. First few times my face would become grey which came out when I washed it off.Dont get worried if this happens. For technique you can also use basics of gua sha. The best video for that is lanshin.
There are also a lot of high end ayurveda brands that sell this for 2k+ . Honestly, I don't see the point.
These are the ones I use, but I am very careful because they are sharp
Got this last year when I was IF'ing. Value for money.
It does seem legit. In EU,they use 220 v and revlon has manufactured 220v for EU and the manufacturer is Helen of Troy. These details match with the one I got from flipkart
Coming to performance,it straightens your hair and adds shine to the hair but the ends won't be poker straight. It takes 10 minutes to dry my hair.Overall I like the product
P.s I am not good with drying my hair with hair dryer and a brush. So this works faster

No I self medicated. I did some research and found out that I could be having iron deficiency. I never used to have regular periods until this year. From January 2021 I started taking these supplements and my periods got regulated. Every month my periods will come like clock work and my hormonal acne also reduced. This was a huge deal for me because it never really happened before. I started intermittent fasting as well. I occasionally eat junk food but it didn't affect my body like it used to before. I'd suggest you to read the book The Obesity Code. I learnt everything about healthy eating and how to keep hormones in check from this book. It has worked well for me. But I'd suggest you to go to a gynecologist because there could be other underlying conditions that can be behind hormonal acne. I'm not qualified to give advice on this front. Just sharing my experience.
It's like oil cleansing! Dissolves the oil-soluble stuff 🤔 It's been super interesting looking ta all the products designed specifically for this. L'Occitane even makes a "shower oil" that's basically an oil cleanser for the body.
It’s on Amazon!

I use a kids mineral sunscreen spray and it is really effective Mineral Sunscreen
My entire family uses it and we have not faced any issues till now although it does have fragrance and comodegenic ingredient (eg. Coconut oil derived triglycerides) it has been a bliss to use this since there's no whitecast and at times you can skip on moisturiser.
Yup! I used the bodywash one on my face, I liked the it better TBH.This one https://www.amazon.com/Dove-Body-Moisture-Gentle-Bodywash/dp/B0846G318P/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=dove+body+wash&qid=1623260293&sr=8-5
Yes, there is special thread for it! I use this brand
I think the cotton is mercerized or treated in some way to make it less susceptible to breakage. It's also a bit thicker. Mine never breaks, and even in the parlour, every time the lady went hard enough to break the thread, it also left little cuts.
I'd suggest you check in the closest beauty shop to your house, they cost like, 40 bucks each. Also, using talcum powder gives you better grip on each hair (by soaking up excess oils) and makes each hair more visible. You don't have to press the thread down to catch the hairs. Having a lighter hand prevents cuts. Go slow ☺
Vega all the other models i've tried from vega are pretty bad
the personal pick would be vega as they seem to be much sturdier. for the GUBB ones, if they fall plucking-side first, the metal bends and the tops flattens making them useless because they can't latch on to the hair, happened with 2-3 GUBB tweezers but i'm also pretty clumsy so this might not be a problem for you
Lip balm from Arata loving it.. works well for my chapped af lips need to apply only twice once in morning and later in evening. Only downside doesn't have spf. But, definitely check it out!

Fair warning, it costs a bomb and usually you have to get it from an Instagram seller. I got it from kbeautyindia for 1650. I'm on my second bottle and it's life changing. I went from hating wearing sunscreen to absolutely loving it.
It's leaves no streaks, is completely light weight, no stickiness. I am amazed. However, be warned it's a chemical sunscreen. This formulation is so amazing that I don't care because for once I'm not skipping wearing sunscreen.
Good luck! Hope this works out for you.
Dermdoc does a few. Only available on purplle.com... And i haven't personally used them. IREM does a toner that looks great, too.. . https://www.amazon.in/Irem-Cleansing-Facial-Toner-types/dp/B07PCPHDWY

Studies show Vit D plays an almost hormone like role in follicle- so say you aren't treating the deficiency, no product is going to help. A vast vast majority of causes of hair loss are internal issues, so it makes sense to treat it internally. I unfortunately don't have any recos for good dermats there but atleast find one who will do the blood tests for now. Based on the diagno

No, this one.
Check out this thread.
I use the glogeous advanced face wash and my skin loves it. It has helped with glowing and hyperpigmentation.
Hi!
For hair oil, do give a try to Dabur's Sweet Almond Oil (which is 100% almond oil and not the one mixed with mineral oil). Since, it is 100% pure, you can even use it in food (like with milk)! You can easily find the 50ml/100ml bottles in shops or get it from amazon, I am attaching the link below. I have been using it for a long time while my mother likes to use Baidyanath's Mahabhringraj oil (though I am not very fond of it).
I would also like to recommend Arata's lip balm. I have a pink tub I bought years ago which I only use in winters when my lips dry out. They have 3 new variants of it now and have stopped making the one I have but it is really good and fixes my lips very quickly.
P.S. I am a guy.
idk why olay moisturizing cream i have bought also have this same texture and smells more like a chemist shop than a cream, doesn't blend easily on skin like other creams. even charmis has better texture than these ones

This? Never heard of it before. How long have you been using it?
The vitamin keratin hair mask is not too heavy and is key for type 2 and type 3 curls. Heavy masks can strain your hair and lead to more breakage. This is the exact opposite of what you want. The sweet honey scent transforms an everyday shower into a lush tropical vacation. It's as mild as it is, but it doesn't last for hours, so it's great for those who are sensitive to strong scents.

I searched on Amazon and it says "body lotion". Can I apply it on my face?
That's wrong info. It's not discontinued and the ASIN is B08LM7291W, not what you said. It wasn't even available until 2020. Here.
Which one should I buy for very very very dry skin?
Vaseline Lotion or Vaseline Cream
If y'all got any other suggestions, Please let me know.
I use Aveeno's Shaving gel with oats. Lather my face with TO's S-B oil, really rub it around (so it's an oil cleanse as well as a mask), wait 30-40 minutes and go about whatever the fuck, and then lightly shave. By far the smoothest, cleanest, shave ever. The only thing is that this particular oil is orange in color, so you will look like a clown if you use it as a mask. It's really, really, light, and it's fucking insane. The Lionel Messi of oils.
It's the Marula Oil that is comedogenic; I didn't know that, used it as a mask 4 days ago, and it filled my forehead and neck with CCs. Sent in Tret and all is fine now, thankfully.
>How has your experience with 5% Pycnogenol been?
I use it daily. The skin feels so, so, supple after using it. And it amplifies the effects of Vitamin C/Retinol/Tretinoin, so that's a bonus.
THIS is my HG, was recommended by a kottakal doc.
My opinion is that Vitamin Keratin Protein Hair Serum gives hair a salon-like shine and smoothness. It gives hair a silky finish, a bright shine, and noticeable softness without leaving the hair greasy. Energize with walnut oil that adds luster and shine to each strand. Carefully formulated to create the most gentle and effective hair serum for all hair types, including dry hair. It gives you the confidence you need to shine.

Garnier Fructis macadamia hair food is good hair cream. It’s a hair mask but you can also use it as hair cream.
Is it this one?
Hows the smell?
Hi. Im 28F and have the same issue as you. I’ve been advised to wash my hair every day and alternate between an anti dandruff shampoo and a regular mild shampoo. The regular mild shampoo given to me is Triclenz. It’s a great mild shampoo. I have a pixie haircut so the shampoo lasts for a long time.
I always suggest brands like Vaseline, Dove and Nivea. I have oily skin. Recently I bought this
https://www.amazon.in/Dove-Light-Hydration-Body-Lotion/dp/B08M4V76TF/
It is fantastic ❤️ I like Vaseline Aloe too. Nivea is a bit too oily for me. Choose a variant according to your skin type from these brands.
> So maybe I should focus on the techniques more? Maybe the way I did it wasn't right.
Yep, sound like you might wanna work on that. Also have a look at the last image in this amazon page. Looks like the gel you used has a medium hold and maybe your hair need stronger hold.
This is what I use. This was recommended to me when I was seeing a doctor in kottakkal arya vaidya sala for my acne issues. My HG now. Never gonna try other cleansers.
well for me, even though I am a noob, i have researched a lot about it.
I used dove's body polish Macadamia one before shaving, the same day.
i use gillette venus razor for shaving and shave both against and in the direction. (also i do this once week because I am doing laser hair removal and i have to shave for that)
after doing all this i use the aveeno moisturiser.
I have heard that moisturex works but it is really slow to show results.
the products that have helped me with ingrown hair as in commented in you earlier post has to TO glycolic acid toning sollution.
and ofcourse you can follow the same routine for shaving your armpits.
link this is the one i bought, but it's corded and kinda small. so it'll take a while to epilate your legs if you plan to.
way better option for legs, and it's cordless (both are by braun)
I have the same thing as you, my nose and some cheek part becomes oily and recently bought a new sunscreen and it's pretty good but not budget friendly
link: https://www.amazon.in/Uv-Doux-SPF-50-Sunscreen/dp/B07M7NY3JL
I never doubted amazon but always doubted flipkart the same way. So can't tell but they often write brand's name and basically if no seller info is given in description and only brand is written in description then it means the product is directly coming from that brand hence it is legit. Also in case of ponds products they also write from the manufacturer and further if manufacturer has the uniliver email written at the end then it is authentic.
Just read description and a lot of things will tell you if it from brand directly or from some middle seller. Brand tends to mention all kind of info. For eg check this link it is authentic and that is clear if you read description. Click here.

This works with amazon but idk if anyone can tell stuff like this on flipkart
sure. click on red word link
I've been meaning to invest in a brush but the detanglers where out of my budget. What's your hairtype btw? And, how do you tie your hair when you go to bed?
Hi, here’s the amla oil brand. RV Essential in Delhi amla oil
Sure! My current amla oil is: RV Essentials. Maybe being a carrier oil it’s too much 🤦♀️ amla oil

I use the Selsun shampoo once a week for dandruff but you have to be regular with it , because I get a flaky scalp even if I skip it just for a week. WNRP it.
My friend recommended this to me. She said she uses it only once or twice a month for maintenance and it works very well and keeps dandruff under control.
Scalpe pro has a lot of good reviews on this sub you can search them. On my wish list.
READ THIS POST !! I found it last week when I was searching the sub. I tried this only once as of now so can't comment on its efficiency. But many on the sub say it works.
I tried to find the comment which i encountered in this sub but i couldn't :/ The user explained how they use rosemary, peppermint rinses. Try to do a thorough search, try your luck...
Anyways, these are the Rosemary leaves i bought. For 1 litre of water i will put 2 table spoons of rosemary leaves and i will let it boil on a low to medium flame for 15 mins and then i will put a lid and let it simmer. It will take few hours to cool down. Usually i will do this the night before i take a head bath. I am taking my showers with a normal shampoo, you try something without sulphates and parabens. I will wash of the shampoo with water and then i will use this rosemary water as the final rinse and i will just dry off my hair with a towel. Also, i stored some rosemary water in a mist bottle. I spray it and lightly massage my hair, it will take a few minutes to air dry. So I've been using the Rosemary water almost everyday. I hope this helps :)

Hair health mantra:
(other than good food, sleep, stress free etc)
1) wash the hair once in 3 days
2) halo shampoo.
3) oils before washing
a) jamaican black castor oil
Brands- holy natural/ g drops / tropical isle/ sunny isle (dont ask me fr product links.I am lazy)
b) red pimento hair growth oil - brand - tropical isle (This one is costly coz it gets imported)
LEAVE THESE OILS OVERNIGHT IN YOUR HAIR. HEAT THEM BEFORE DOING CHAMPI IF U HAVE TIME.
4) oil ur hair between washes as well
I use almond/ jojoba/ argan...whatever suits ur hair and goes with ur hairstyles.
Give the shampoos and these oils time. Like 3-4 months.
Come back and thank me.
ONLY CONDITIONER IS MISSING FROM THIS ROUTINE. You have to pick this acc to hair type. I would suggest dont use any till hairfall is curbed.
P.S: If you are on any shampoo or conditioner from brands like panteen or tressemme and are facing hairfall, discontinue them for a while and check. Sometimes products can cause hairfall.
I recommend the Anthelios 50 tinted one (in a rectangular bottle). It had the consistency of a light solution and almost absorbed into the skin. It had been my HG sunscreen in US and I have used it for 5-6 yrs (used to buy from CVS pharmacy). I didn’t tan with it even in peak summer in India.
My skin is moderately fair and I never had any white cast with the tinted one. I believe it was this one (haven’t purchased in India after I came back) : Amazon link
Hey, oily scalp and frizzy hair here. My stylist suggested loreal as well but yeah, its costly a little.
But try this from matrix. Its working like magic for me. Been using this since 2 years, no complaints. Also use matrix serum after the wash, it helps. I double condition my hair sometimes if I got any events ahead.
Can anyone please review the Neutrogena rapid clear stubborn acne spot treatment gel cream? For the treatment of acne spots, I'm considering purchasing this product. Would value your opinion, folks.

After my boyfriend recommended. It works so well. You need follow proper instructions tho for safety, they also give you a one year warranty card and it's also cheap. I need to connect it to switch for 5 mins and it lasts me 120 mins or so. Godsent.
If you aren't sure about water based ones, search for gel based heating pads. There are plenty.
Okay bebi listen to me! I USED THIS TO GET RID OF LICE, AND YOU ONLY NEED LIKE ONE BOTTLE BUT STUPOD AMAZON MAKES YOU BUY EIGHT BOTTLES.. IT ACTUALLY WORKED FOR ME, I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO USE THE SECOND BOTTLE.
IT WORKS. 100%.
Hi OP, have you used Johnson's baby cream pink variant or Johnson's baby Milk and Rice cream blue variant as a moisturiser? I have oily acne prone skin. Saw mixed reviews for both products on the sub and was wondering.
How to make 10% Niacinamide face serum
You can substitute some of the ingredients with more readily available ones
fixderma spf 30. It also comes in a 150 ml bottle.Only downside is that it has a shelf life of about 3-4 months once opened.
I have heard it works. But you need to massage the area. Increased blood circulation is important at the site of the stretch mark. Try dry brushing and what personally worked for my was 5 mins on accupressure mat like this one it increases blood circulation. I would apply coconut oil after.
I have a permanent retainer on my lower teeth too and the electric toothbrush gets those itty bitty food pieces stuck out of it

Washed my face but it’s still kind of burning, wanted to know if it’s normal or it’s just my skin. Thank you!
