I'm not quite sure, but I would assume something like this (or any other 3.5mm to 2.5mm aux cable) would work. You can always try and return the cable if it doesn't work, right?
Nope, it is under the electronics plate. The only thing you could do would be drill a hole carefully on the side of the plastic shroud that the plate mounts to, seal it decently (Battery is in the speaker air chamber) then drill a hole in the side panel of the speaker and run some wires out spliced from the battery connection.
What would actually be a better idea though is a small portable power bank that has an inverter in it. The encore does not pull a ton from the mains lead and seems to rely on the battery for transients. You also get a boost in volume output.
I am not endorsing this one by any stretch (I just picked it at random) but a bank with these specs would get you all day with no problem. Shoot, probably two days in a row non-stop.
Something like this might be an option
I think you can use any Usb-c cable. I found a knock-off one one amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/Replacement-Charging-Charge-Bluetooth-Speaker/dp/B08F5BNH13?th=1. Honestly tho, you could buy a clip 4 when it goes on sale, keep the cable and sell the speaker afterwards. I would keep it cause it's a damn good speaker.
Also, I recommend downloading the app:
JBL Headphones App (Google Play)
JBL Headphones App (Apple App Store)
Just to check compatibility.
I really recommend you anker soundcore motion plus, if it s on sale it s 85 dollars (rn is 106), i own one, compared to friend's charge 4 and it won by far, it has 2 twitters 2 mids and 2 radiators, imo is really worth it, small too, same size at charge 4: https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Soundcore-Bluetooth-Customizable-Waterproof/dp/B07P39MLKH
u/zakkiechangthe battery replacement solved all my issues and the speaker is working great. https://amazon.com/gp/product/B0923XM51K/ It was a bit tricky to get the speaker cover off and lined back up when I put it back together but the whole thing only took around 20 minutes to do.

Could try those. Use on your phones at the beach too if type c
Looks like a security screw, you can buy security bit sets cheap online that have lots of different odd shaped heads. Nintendo uses a lot of these in their stuff to make it hard to repair.
This set is cheap (or something similar outside the US) and includes one triangle head. Can't speak to how good the set is, never bought it, but it's an example of what you'll need.
A cursory google search suggests that they should be interchangeable - stuff like this lists as being for both.
Those wired apple AirPods sound kinda sucks but they are bulletproof. I’ve had pairs for through the washer and dryer and still work lol.
For what it’s worth. Investing in a GOOD pair of overear noise canceling headphones changes your quality of life for the better. AirPod pros are ok at it but easy to lose and not great battery life.
The Bose QC 35ii have made me hear parts of songs I never heard before and I’ve heard them a hundred times. Such good sound definition I’ve went to answer my door when I hear a knock in a movie cause it sounds so real. I’ll leave a link for the pair I have. Expensive but my pair is 6 years old and still work like day one. Sometimes I put them on at night with nothing playing just for the noise cancellation so I can fall asleep..

Lemme see if I can find the link for the one I bought. It was cheap and I honestly use it as my main charge cable now lol.

Have you attempted pairing it with your PS4 yet?
Settings -> Bluetooth (Devices) -> Look for Devices, and then pair it. Pairing code is usually 0000 or 1234.
Otherwise, maybe something like this? https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Wireless-Headphone/dp/B0838YPSZT/

Did you try it with a different brick and cable? If that doesn't work you can also try using a different outlet. If those don't work, it's either the battery or the port itself. You can buy a replacement battery on amazon, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/MPF-Products-High-Capacity-SUN-INTE-168-Replacement/dp/B09GCGBBG5/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=JBL+pulse+4+battery&qid=1634456622&sr=8-4

Plug the rca to mixer, then 3.5mm to BT transmitter, then bluetooth to PB, and then TWS them together?
There is a case, but it's not exactly cheap. It does have a handle though which is awkward.
Not sure what your budget is. https://www.amazon.com/Carrying-Aiwa-Portable-Bluetooth-Speaker/dp/B071VQ8RBG
You can get this (or similar) case to make it easy to hold you new babe with it's charger
You can still use Bluetooth but bt4.2 has sync issues so watching videos will not be fun. But dude, a decent set of computer speakers that stay are cheap as fuck.
This $30 set would sound better and costs next to nothing.

When your computer has separate aux ports for headphones and microphone then you might need to use a splitter cable. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Headphone-Splitter-Computer-Smartphone-Headset/dp/B01MQZ2023/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=aux+mic+splitter+cable&qid=1620489657&sr=8-3
Get a fireproof bag first (something like this) and put the battery in. And then contact JBL support, multiple times if needed until they respond properly. I think for now, you can use it as a PC speaker (plugged in).
Just noticed that the JBL XTREME2 is on sale for $250CAD here, on amazon.ca (the price I got mine). Awesome deal at that price. Compared to the CHARGE4, it sounds much, much better at high volumes, and gets a bit louder. You're sacrificing portability (basically twice the size), battery life (15H vs 20H), and convenience (charges with a AC power brick the size of a laptop's power brick rather than a normal port) though. If you're mostly rocking your face off and hosting parties with it, it would 100% be my recommendation if you can afford it. Otherwise, the CHARGE4 is still my overall recommendation because of it's portability, battery life, and sound, and overall user experience.
hello , we can offer a silicone case cover for JBL Go 2 to protect your speaker , 99% off code on amazon , prime shipping , please kindly check this link for the case cover , and email me at ,for this code, thanks !
If you're worried about DAC's, then something like this would be great. TBH I don't know much about this topic, and I would recommend posting on r/Soundbars as well about this, this subreddit IMO is mainly for JBL portables and JBL TWS earbuds, but these posts are welcome as well.
So the Flip4 is a stereo speaker. This means the left driver is playing what's on the left channel, and the right driver is playing what's on the right channel. If you were to mismatch the drivers the left and right speaker may not have the same sensitivity, so one side might be louder than the other. This will lead to an unbalanced sound.
So if you replace one try to replace with the same speaker.
Since it is rattling you can also try to fix the speaker.yourself, it isn't hard and there are youtube videos demonstrating how.

You can always go old school and use a 3.5mm cable.

I don't have a Flip 5, I have a Charge 4. First I had a Flip 4. But even with the Charge 4 I use an Equalizer app with Bass Boost. I have to start it before playing music. Samsung's built-in EQ isn't that good. And I have to open the settings before playing music too! It doesn't stay active. So I decided to use an EQ app. The only thing is, if you use the EQ, the volume goes a bit down.

I've read (but not yet tried) that if you install the ibl app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.harman.ble.jbllink) and let it update your speaker (takes a while) you can then (de)select the audio feedback option. May take a few tries as the app isn't very good. I will try tomorrow but in case I forget to reply, here it is. :)
I just purchased some last night but don't have them in my hands yet to be able to answer your question. However, I got them from here at a discounted price ($33.99 if you don't mind them being "renewed") in case you decide to pick some up - https://www.amazon.com/JBL-FREEXBLK-Free-Wireless-Headphones/dp/B07Q8YS84F/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=jbl+free+x&qid=1595957169&sr=8-4. Figured it might save you a few bucks if you're in the US.
It has been over a week since I reached out to JBL customer service about the grill. Unfortunately, I still haven't heard back. Doubt I will. So I just ended up buying this 3rd party silicone case specifically made for the Clip 3. Amazon has them for $10 (not sure if anyone here has any reservations about Bezos & Co. or not). It's made by some company in China. All things considered, it shipped out pretty fast. Fits well too. It changes the aesthetics of the unit substantially, but it adds a bit a functionality to it. It enables the unit to stand vertically. But, of course, I realize this is only useful if you still have your grill and want to prevent it from falling off in transit. Here's a link:

I found one on Amazon, but it's not the original. It looks like it'll work, so see if you can get this one and use it while you wait for the other original one to be in stock.
