edit: realized i used to use Equalizer FX Pro and i switched because it stopped working for some reason. all around i prefer tje Music Volume Eq app..but try them both.
No prob, if I had 1 EQ to recommend it's one that worked with XBM where as most others didn't and that would be this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hr.podlanica only downside to it from what I had a problem with in XBM was the EQ would reset on every song so you could hear it adjusting the audio every track.
Ah right. There are several free apps on google play that should be able to help:

well its not exactly for spotify, it can be used with any 3rd party music player. The free ones mostly boost the pre-amp.
Try this one. It has loudness enhancer, the equalizer I used before switching to Eqfy
really? I guess I just don't have good enough headphones to notice... I had a third party app on my old phone that seemed to work okay, You could try this
I use this app on the play store https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hr.podlanica coincidentally i use it to cut off as much of the highs as i can

Try an eq app like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hr.podlanica Then just turn down the eq sliders
I use this one

Maybe use an equalizer? I use Music Volume EQ to lower my bluetooth earphone volume. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hr.podlanica&hl=en
Doesn't work for me... But I downloaded this and it seem to work pretty well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=hr.podlanica&hl=en I just might need to try out a few apps.
