Nice! A lot of people who learn also buy the typical textbooks like Genki or Nakama. I highly recommend this one -> Learn Japanese: New College Text (Learn Japanese) volume 1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/0824808592/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_i5cUFbYYR11EY
This book covers writing, grammar, conversation, expressions, and corner cases. It’s a great way to get good development. And it takes you from beginner to late intermediate level in four books. Also it’s much more affordable than other ones.
I appreciate that the books offer a smooth passage to learning. While each person benefits differently from different books, this series has helped to provide a strong base.
I can’t speak to the book you mentioned but 日本語総まとめ series is helpful imo. The one I linked is for grammar but they have separate books for vocab, reading comprehension and listening comprehension as well. Of course, it’ll be beneficial to expose yourself to resources and native talk outside of these books too
This character is heroine "Miaka" from "Fushigi-yugi".
Probably, This card design from illustrate collection book(below link is illustrate collection book).
Hello, sorry for the PMS I'm usually not the first person to be in this area. I'm also really sleepy so excuse my speech to text. That being said I've found two books to be helpful and one supportive book.
The first book I would recommend is a Genkouyoushi Notebook. Is the one I have personally. The next thing that helped me was remembering the Kana by James W. Heisig. That contains hiragana and katakana. You can use the notebook and that book to drill each character into your head combined with flashcards for pretty cheap.
