This is the one I have. Not sure on your height requirements but it works for me.

What /u/moronotron stated. I used Rust-Oleum, Black, 248658 Rust Reformer Spray, 10.25 oz on mine and tossed some Rugged Ridge Floor Liners over it. That's got me held over until I replace the entire body. Oddly Home Depot had the floor liners for the cheapest price.
Love it! Great job! Btw, I used ceramic coat on my jeeps faded plastic and holy heck it worked amazing! I highly recommend.
Here's the stuff I used: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082VT2SZQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

There's a bunch of them on amazon. Chris Fix has a video on it.
Magnetic base dial indicator. Like this https://www.amazon.com/Clockwise-Tools-DIMR-0105-Indicator-Measuring/dp/B07C756TCM/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=magnetic+dial+indicator&qid=1620330366&sprefix=magnetic+dial&sr=8-5
Sadly that pattern was false. There was a defect in the pinion and it caused inconsistencies. Ripped them out and replacing with new dana Spicer gears. Previous were revolution.
I bought the bulbs off Amazon. T5 LED Bulb Dashboard Dash Lights... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GCFKGS5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
10 was enough to do the gauges, a few lights but not all I don’t believe. I left the flashers and some other bulbs as original. So two packs would do all easy. Just gotta makes sure they are in correctly. They have polarity. So if they don’t come on they are backwards and you just gotta take them out and flip them
I really like the behind the dash idea but, you can go Under the passenger seat too. Your rear main seal is leaking. It's a pain to fix right, no idea what a shop would charge. I've used an oil stop leak product in the past and its worked good enough. On a scale of 1-10, you're at a 3, not too bad. Tighten those oil pan bolts while you're at it.
Ive had good luck using this type of tool for dowel pins in the past

But you may just want to use a die grinder with a cutting wheel and hack em off.
Download OBD JScan to your phone and get this adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076XVQMVS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You can reprogram your speedometer based on tire size. less than $100 for both. and the adapter will work for any OBDII connection.
Thank you!
I thought about the single wire. I just wanted to minimize connections. But it is a great idea! I do need a heat gun. Lighter sometimes is questionable, but it works! I just forget to get one all the time. I then start working on something, and I don’t want to take the time to go get it. 😆🤦♂️🤷♂️
Here is the link to the clock...
AcuRite 75127M 14.5 Inch Large...
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015E5U424?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It’s size is awesome and it is highly visible from everywhere! I will say... it keeps me from getting in trouble with Suburbia Mom because I always know what time it is! 😅
I used Thermo-Tec, because I used to have a dog that laid in the passenger side floor well, but that's probably overkill. Something like this is probably a good choice.
You want this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000NPPATS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_cP2JFbGP3SM2K with a T-40 socket. You strike it with a hammer, that force turns the socket and keeps it from popping out of the bolt. Used this to pull an old Honda engine apart that was held together with Phillips bolts, no stripping.
Yep the regulator comes with the pump. This is the one I got and it's still going strong after about a year. If you're mechanically inclined you could do it yourself, if not just make sure the tank is almost empty when you take it to the shop so they don't have to drop a full fuel tank. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MBI3H7C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_BH3EFbS1FXEJT

I have a 4dr hardtop but the hardtop has spent most of its life on my garage ceiling and I use the soft top 90% of the year. If your going to get the hardtop and you have a garage I highly recommend getting the hard top hoist on Amazon like this one. I can have my hard top off all by myself in about 10 minutes and it stores on my garage ceiling up and out of the way, it’s fantastic! HARKEN Jeep Hardtop Overhead Garage Storage Hoist with Bonus 6 T Knobs for Quick Hardtop Removal | Wrangler and Gladiator Compatible | 6:1 Mechanical Advantage https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074DCJYVK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_mJClFbXJCNT64
Most old-school'ers just go by the color of the coolant. Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple, Teal, etc... The Jeeps old and predates a lot of the variants, they use IAT. Color isn't is the best way to tell what's in it though as some companies use different colors to be different. Teal is usually for European cars though. Dex-Cool is orange, Toyota and some Asian mfg's use red or blue. You can read up on they types here: https://www.hemmings.com/stories/2014/08/01/tech-101-the-colors-of-antifreeze
I use Prestone's All-Vehicles, It's safe for all types. I get a 50/50 blend so I don't have to add water to it. It's usually yellow in color. Peak has an All-Vehicle as well but theirs is amber in color. All-Vehicle/Global can be mixed or so they claim. Really though, other then not using Dexi-Cool, you'll be fine. If you had it flushed recently, the mechanic should be happy to tell you.
I also recommend buying a hydrometer. It will tell you the strength of your coolant. As it gets weaker you'll be able to see it on the scale. You can then either top it off with concentrate or if it looks dirty, flush it. Typically as it gets weaker, it will have more water in it so you might start to see the coolant turn brown as it starts to pick up rust. https://www.amazon.com/Prestone-AF-1420-Antifreeze-Coolant-Tester/dp/B000BOA9RY/
Use a door panel removal tool (its like a two prong fork looking thing) and CAREFULLY pull off the full panel.
Not recommending this specific one, but you get the idea: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L8GHB7O?ref\_=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_ud\_dp\_9M8Y551VF1ESYT1B4WT9
Remember, that hatch is fiberglass, 30 years old and very brittle. The plastic keepers that hold the panel on will probably break anyway, so order up some replacements. Go slow and do not force it.
It'll slide UP towards the window when its ready to come off.
I bought some cheap LED headlights from Amazon and they are actually great. They were plug and play, nice and bright, and DOT approved.
These ones, to be exact.
I got these ones from Amazon. For a budget LED, I’m really happy with them. No extra wiring, no flicker, just plug and go.
I used this: 0,2 ml Leitfähiger Silberkleber Draht Elektrisch klebende Farbe PCB-Reparatur für die Reparatur von Elektronik - Mehrfarben https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07T7JXLLJ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_BVP9EKWA5VH77X6HMWGC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Buying one of these helped me a lot with this sort of thing https://www.amazon.com/Stainlesstown-Bolt-Screw-Thread-Gauge/dp/B00XUU0UMK/ref=sr\_1\_3?keywords=bolt+measuring+tool&qid=1645208032&sprefix=bolt+mea%2Caps%2C140&sr=8-3
Anything can be modded with a Dremmel!
Only half kidding. You’d have to do some measuring to see how much room you have to play with both on the panel and behind it, but you can probably drill those out and put some cheap toggle switches in there- either the ones with the threaded base (like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VLG3RQN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_0JGTETF1W60KH6ATGQ26?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) or the round push-in style (like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R5PLDBP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_RMEW14733458S0FW3PWG).
As to what you’d use them for? Anything that takes power and needs to be turned on and off, maybe? Fog lights/light bars, lockers if you’re into the off-road scene, interior mood lighting, or maybe even power to a vibrating mattress for the cozy nights. The options are endless, especially if you wire it up to a relay for those high-draw applications.
This is what I installed. The older version had negatives but the newer version I received does not. Fit is perfect, relay box perfect, just need a way to ground. Winch is also the only thing I intend to power and ground separately, I don’t want to run something that powerful through a 30A fuse.
I grabbed a bus bar with a ground and a 2ga 6’ cable to run the battery negative to where the relay box is mounted since I’d rather have the accessories running directly to the proper negative than to a frame stud, for no other reason than organization. I can post an update once it’s finished if you’re interested (assuming everything works out as expected.)
Hey there it’s a 10lb co2 tank which has about 900psi on avg I believe. It has a 150psi regulator with a quick disconnect fitting to attach a hose.
Here is the one I bought, High Flow 150 PSI Fixed Flow Carbon Dioxide Piston Regulator for Tire Inflation https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081S7YYPC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_ZS4JKCRJ3YCVNYJDX0JT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hey! I also have an Atoto F7 (non-pro) built into my Ford Fiesta. If you think a Canbus adapter is too expensive, Atoto also offers a wireless stearing wheel controls accesory for about 30 bucks.
One end plugs into the back of the headunit, the other can be strapped onto your steering wheel or be mounted on it with a magnet.
Been using that lil' thing for about 4 months with my Atoto F7, and no issues yet. Worked wonderfully. I'll link it below
Here is the kit. You need to buy the combustion test liquid separate. It’s blue liquid. You attach to the mouth there on your Rad and run the car and squeeze it. If any exhaust gasses are in the coolant it will turn from blue to yellow.
Look up jeep 4.0 heat soak issues, fuel vaporizes from the fuel rail/injector getting too hot causing a hard start. I've never experienced it but people say a kit like this helps https://www.amazon.com/Design-Engineering-010378-Injector-1997-2004/dp/B015NOKWQY
You can order a whole new frame for less than that.
Or you can orderthese and find a buddy/guy that can weld them in after you do some prep work.
Same kit by alot of vendors, looks like the price increased slightly. Get the 2 remote kit. You wont be able to replace one if you lose it otherwise.
So a product like this you mean although this is a 27 spline one?
What about this one?
Sorry but the point of getting that kit is to save some money and it's either two D44 or one D30 / one D44.
This is my daily also so I wont be going anywhere too crazy in it.
Thank you. Only tricky part is when disconnecting radiator from ac condenser (not in off space). Also to disconnect the cap up the electric fan (2 pic). This clamp helped my a lot to disconnect hoses hose clamp plier
Dissenting opinion: Ask yourself, how much do I really need to spend on headlights? Am I really a total badass off-roader that it’s going to be in a deep stuff all by myself and I need to have $500 worth of illumination?
I get it, the $500 lights are definitely better than the less expensive lights. But are they $400 better?
I love my jeep, it is the fourth jeep I have owned, and it sees some minor off-road action. I know that I am never going to be in the deep shit which is why I didn’t buy a Rubicon. I bought these $100 halo lights on Amazon based on a friends recommendation. I would like the halo because I connected them so they are daytime running lights. They work much better than my stock lights, probably not as amazing as a $500 set of lights, but certainly good enough for me to drive and my mostly dark neighborhood at night.

5 minute install, and they're MUCH MUCH brighter than the factory
I suspect the factory fogs are 1 candle power, lol
they're very bright, and a huge improvement
I second this. I ordered these off of amazon last month after someone on this sub recommended them. Easy install. You may want to go ahead and purchase extra tree clips for your grille as they’re easy to break. I got them for <$80 shipped and so far haven’t had any issues / leaks.

Dimensions? Looks great though!
this here folds up nice and easy. I have something similar and it’s not bad at all
I mounted mine on the driver's side along with an external fuse setup ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QMULSUI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_H4VUzK6LuPBGQ ). I got a piece of aluminum strap from Home Depot. Bent one end and drilled a hole, this was the mounting end. Along the rest of the strap I drilled holes to mount several relays. BTW if you Mount the strap right it becomes a handy ground.
It’s a quick disconnect mount from MFC.

I just copied my comment from another thread with links if you want the bulk gel version.
This is what you want for under body and frame protection, links below. Read up on it and watch the YouTube videos. I researched this stuff and it works. It was easy to apply and stays put, front end or forward facing parts might need reapply mid winter due to road slush and rain if you drive and commute at highway speeds a lot. No real mess to apply. It is a grease film so expect it to get some road grime, but it power washes off in spring and I reapply. It makes the frame pop a sharp black even on salty roads it won’t go white.

How about wire brushing/sanding as much of the loose stuff off, spraying down with something like this then sealing with something else like this?
I opted to eliminate the quick disconnect feature altogether. I used the Raptor adjustable links from Amazon: Raptor Series 170107-420201 Front or Rear Sway Bar Links

I had a similar problem when I lived in Williston. As a short term solution, I just ended up ordering some plug-in heaters from Amazon. I only spent one winter there, so I don’t think I’d try and get by with this daily for years, but it may help until you find a more permanent solution. Good luck!
