Bought my toddler a bed, some bedding and a nice baby doll yesterday! Now just waiting for packages to arrive. I’m probably more excited than she will be lol.
I hated my U shaped pillow. I felt like I was suffocating in it and I need to use my own head pillow. I found a body pillow was more comfortable. This time around I got a double wedge and looove it. It’s supports my side and back, I can lean into my stomach or back without being directly on either to relieve pressure on my hips. I can get up to use the bathroom or switch side to side without feeling trapped or having to readjust. And bonus, my husband still has plenty of space in our queen. I think wedge pillows are highly underrated.

There are also many that are made by other brands that are not called “pack n play” since that’s a Graco thing but they’re the same! For example this is ours but a different color.
I got a u shaped one and love it. It’s like a little nest in my bed. I have it upside down (curve at my feet) so that I can use my regular pillow. I think it’s slightly less stuffed than the pic on Amazon, but it’s easy to shift the stuffing around if I need extra between my knees.
Just installed my Xmas gift and I'm very excited about it! Since we formula fed last time, this little beaut is gonna make life easier!

YES to the buying second hand clothes! We have so many hand me downs, and what we don't have I can find at children's consignment stores. It's crazy the things you can find that are still like new. The only thing I'm weird about are shoes, but even then I have found some that don't even look like they were ever worn. It's good for the environment but you will also save a TON of money.
My husband and I used to make purees and would freeze them in glass jars and thaw as needed. When your LO can start eating those pouches, they also make resuable ones like these you can fill with purees or applesauce. We still buy some from the store for road trips and to keep in the diaper bag.
Buying wooden toys instead of plastic toys is another thing we shoot for. Wee Gallery has bamboo and wooden toys, and PlanToys is another brand we like.
I ordered this one. I liked that it was long and just a plain U shape. Someone else here or the main babybumps subreddit mentioned turning it where the curve is at your feet so you can use your regular head pillow and this one seemed good for that!
I think I have this one, or super similar. Honestly I think I just picked the cheapest one from Amazon last time lol. But I love it!
With multiples this book might help. Half of it is about eating more and resting more.

These are my favorite shoes during pregnancy because they slip on and accommodate swelling:

I really like these cloth nursing bras. There's lots of brands with this style and they are fantastic to sleep in, too.
We did Christmas gifts last night as a family so my LO would have a few days to play with her new toys before getting more from grandparents. We are going to be playing coffee shop (Melissa and Doug coffee set), play doh, kinetic sand and reading Daniel Tiger books all day 😂
We just send direct links to things we want for our Christmas list with hubby's side of the family, and I put a cheap ring holder necklace like this and hubby instead decided to get a nicer one from Etsy, but somehow he managed to get one that you have to put the rings through the chain.. not the same functionality at all as the one that I asked for. I wanted to be able to throw a ring on it easily to wash my hands, use lotion etc.
I was clearly disappointed and then feel bad that I'm so disappointed when hubby was just trying to buy something nice.. looking at Etsy I honestly don't even see how the heck be found the one he bought because every one that pops up with "ring holder necklace" is like the one I wanted 🤷 guess he's finally learned to just buy exactly what's on the list, lol.
Btw if anyone is feeling like they want a comfy bra but don't want to get a proper-sized, underwire one because of changing sizes and discomfort, these have been my go-to for a while. I'm a bit of an ABTF nerd so their size charts hurt my heart but just get the size you'd typically get for a sports bra. They are so comfy. With breastfeeding/weaning it's been the only bra I've worn for months. I believe they also sell them at Walmart.
I spent more than I wanted to, but ended up with this one. It has SO many compartments and is really, really sturdy. Seems like it will hold up well with both kiddos (my son is also 3!).
I looked and the weight limit says 50 pounds, but honestly it’s so well made that I’m sure it could handle more than that!
I brought mine out last week and it's just soooo comfy!! I have this one, or one very similar. I love the U shape because you don't have to rearrange it much if you flip to the other side. I also actually love laying kind of on top of bone side, so I'm on my back but tilted to the side, and the other side is still supportive. Sometiimes laying fully on my side is too much pressure on my hips. It's also great because you can toss one side off the bed if you wanted and just use one side.. did that some last night. I can't recommend one enough! I use it still with a few other pillows but just having lots of pillow options is necessary lol.
I’m 9 weeks and I finally allowed myself to get one. I was already having to put a small pillow in between my legs at night.
It got delivered yesterday and I love it. (I had a breast reduction a few years ago and borrowed a pregnancy pillow that was a life saver, so I already knew I liked them).

I bought this one with my first pregnancy and didn’t regret it for a second. It’s super versatile too and supportive. I used it in so many different ways, not just side sleeping. It’s huge and we had a queen bed at the time so not much room for my husband 😂 I wish I had kept it for this pregnancy!

STM and I think all I really want to get is this for on the go diaper changing. With my 2 year old my diaper bag rarely leaves the car so just having a smallish thing to toss in the stroller is ideal.

Most of this stuff goes in a diaper bag that you carry with you anyway. I would say a few extra diapers, and a couple of changes of clothes are enough to have in the trunk. Where I live you can't leave wipes in the car, they dry out in a day.
We had one of these portable changing mats Skip Hop Pronto Changing Pad https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071WDDBLM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_2P8AJW5HHCEH27Q5BMPH for our diaper bag so we could changing him wherever we need to.
THIS NOSE SUCKER. It's clear and comes apart to clean, and has good suction (not as good as Nose Freida, but I can't physically suck hard enough for that) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08171JRVY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I suggest this over the nose freida. It’s tough to suck at the same time you’re trying to get their nostril but baby is struggling to get away.
I wore a maternity top today and holy baby bump The shirts with the ruched sides turn the bloat/tummy fat into a convincing bump. It’s just crazy because I haven’t even had a scan yet or told anyone and yet it’s pretty obvious 😬. This is my last kid though so I want to rock the bump for as long as I’m able! (Also, I don’t think I showed until like 20 weeks first time so whatever your body is doing is perfect!)
These are the shirts I have. They are very thin but soft and very comfortable for layering.

I drank these a lot during my last pregnancy - they were very helpful when I was super hungry but didn't have time to cook or buy actual food.
Earth Mama. I liked it a lot better than the Lansinoh, mainly because it smelled better (and I just wonder if it maybe tastes better for baby? I have never been low carb during pregnancy but this book has come highly recommended by my midwives. I’ve found it very practical and helpful. The author also has a book specifically for those with GD.
It’s hard! What helped me last time was taking things day by day. I ordered this really cool book from Amazon called pregnancy day by day and I would read it each morning and be like okay cool, that’s what my body is up to today and it gave me some comfort to focus on work and such. I plan to do the same practice with this pregnancy but we moved over the summer and I haven’t been able to find my book yet.

Sure! I’m 5’4”, 160, normally wear 10-12 and find s/m comfortable. I have the L-xl which are more comfortable around 170lbs and up.

As a DDD I love compression and switched to wireless partway through pregnancy when the bump couldn’t handle it anymore but sacrificed the support. For now, I’m still loving these-

It might be a long shot, but they make this enzyme and prebiotic mix we give to our cat that has digestive issues and it really helps him. If your pup has pancreatic insufficiency it can happen. Gonna keep it simple this time because of our loss this year. I'm mostly gonna just rely on the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada's position statements as well MoreOB ( I have access as a labour and delivery RN). I'm also reading Real Food for Pregnancy just for ideas on nutrition. I also follow a few midwifery accounts on Instagram ( Dr Midwife is my favorite) a few PT accounts, and Bundle Birth.
Once we find out if this is a viable pregnancy I am planning to find some books on Montessori and other early stimulation programs as well as Scientific Parenting which was actually written by the president of my professional college.
Gonna keep it simple and scientific. After the whole debacle with vaccines and my former midwife actually asking me "did you get vaccinated for covid?" the day of my loss and insinuating my loss had do to with that, I have little time for anything that isn't evidence backed with references I can follow.
Maternity underwear are 100% worth it, and I’m ready to drag mine back out of the closet already. I boughtthese on Amazon.
I have a couple of mocktail books because I went sober this January and got tired of only drinking La Croix, there's one called "Mocktail party" that I really like. The mock margarita and mock mojitos are really delicious. It was written by dietitians and has less sugary, more healthy recipes than a lot of the ones I was finding online. I got it at a local book store but they have it on Amazon too https://www.amazon.com/Mocktail-Party-Plant-Based-Non-Alcoholic-Occasion/dp/1950968243
I’m so sorry, colds are the worst, but they are extra frustrating when you’re pregnant. I’m so glad my post was helpful. I hope you feel better soon!!!
Seriously, the saline nasal rinse is the greatest thing, you can literally flush out a ton of the congestion and viruses. I sometimes make a “hypertonic” solution, using 1.5 packets instead of one and it helps draw extra fluid out of the tissue in your sinuses. I feel amazing after and for sure it shortens the duration. Im prone to sinus infections, but since I started doing this, I never get a secondary infection.
This is what Im talking about that has saved me: https://www.amazon.com/NeilMed-100-Sinus-Rinse-Complete/dp/B000RDZFZ0
