This is the battery pack I used for my plug-in Spectra: TalentCell Rechargeable 12V DC Output Lithium ion Battery Pack for LED Strip/Light/Panel/Amplifier and CCTV Camera with Charger, Multi-led Indicator Black (3000mAh) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MHNQIR2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_U.tUFbMP77BC1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I did read in another bumper group that it could potentially void your warranty if you do this, but I had no issues with it.
2nd on the point of having a good bag packed. Hell, overpack that damn bag. I ended up with all dirty clothes in a few days because I didn't anticipate how much time I'd be spending. I'd recommend some 2nd hand pregnancy clothes so they can just stay in there.
I'd also reccomend an Amazon firestick (because honestly it was a hard time and it was nice to drown out my thoughts and hospital noises). Also a smaller type of pregnancy pillow (I used this ). It helped for the long hospital stays, during and after the birthing process.
Might not work because it’s a little bit different, but when I have smelly fingers from cutting onion, I use lemon juice and a stainless steel bar (or if you have a stainless steel sink). Works really well. Might be worth a shot? stainless steel bar
I just got these cheapies and they're doing the trick - coverage + room to breathe.
And I loaded up an everything bagel with cream cheese and I think I need another...
Not who you asked, but I really like these
I’ll have to add this one to my ever growing list of children’s books to the pile. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t getting ones from when I was a kid to relive my childhood.
One of my favorite kids’ book series is McDuff, which is about a little Westie dog and his family in the 40s. There’s one where they bring home a new baby which sounds similar to this book. It’s a beautifully illustrated series and very fun. Here’s a link: McDuff and the Baby https://www.amazon.com/dp/0786803169/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_9mEOFbSE1C3V9
There are the ones I loved. Motherhood Maternity, jeggings

This is the pregnancy pillow I have and love https://www.amazon.com/QUEEN-ROSE-Pregnancy-Pillow-Shaped/dp/B01N44MTLJ
I brought it with us on every weekend trip we made during the third trimester. I don’t need it until well later than 20 weeks.
i actually just recently ordered THESE and i’m super happy with them! i’m in that stage of my underwear still fits but it definitely won’t in 2-4 weeks so i wanted to be ready!
Some others linked some under belly undies that i plan to get once i hit the second trimester as well! But since I work from home i just wanted ultimate comfort. They fit true to size, but i ended up sizing up 1 just to make sure that i’ll be able to wear them throughout the entire pregnancy.
I was having this starting around 7 weeks. Sleeping on my sides felt unbearable because my hips kept hurting so bad. Sleeping with a pillow between my legs helped a bit. I bought a pregnancy pillow and it’s been great... hip pain is mostly gone now (though I do have to rotate sides like hourly while sleeping still)
This is the one i got. It’s on sale for $20 right now. PharMeDoc Pregnancy Pillow with Travel & Storage Bag, C Shaped Full Body Pillow with Grey Jersey Cover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KIQH2VU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_R1RVFbCKGVAY6
I'm hoping to start Move Your Bump soonish. So far I've been ok with some high waisted workout leggings that are not maternity but also not the cinched waist type (forgot the brand but got them at Target). I'm doing 4-6 walks per week ranging from 30-60 mins but want to add some strength training.
I'm debating between these or these and would love any recommendations.
I got this pillow last time around. I couldn't get a total U shaped pillow because my husband is a spooner and doing so would completely cut him off from ever finding me. I have enjoyed it alot and currently use it to flop on the floor with my 11 month old. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PW9PBPW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Yup. I like this product: BPT3 Acne Treatment Moisturizer | 3% Benzoyl Peroxide 1% Tea Tree Oil | 70% Organic 96% Natural | Gentle Plant-based Vegan & Cruelty-free | US Made 2.2 fl. oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009A291L8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabt1_lp.QFbRKD49CT
If you don’t mind the smell of tea tree oil. I like it, actually.
I bought a pair from Amazon and they’re super comfy but they’re really sheer and thin and more like cropped leggings. I’m 5’7 and they hit me a few inches above the ankle. I like them for lounging around my house I wanna find a a better pair for being outside, maybe with pockets too!
This is just one perspective so take it for what it’s worth but I see this as a good time to start shifting your mindset toward work. Although you will likely feel better and be more productive soon, when baby is here your work may change dramatically and if you are the type of person who judges your worth based on how productive you were on a given day it’s helpful to learn now how to give yourself some grace. I recommend getting this book as an audiobook and listen to it when you have time. I found it helpful how Kate frames seasonal and hormonal shifts in energy and validates that sometimes if we are maintaining things professionally, rather than advancing them, that’s okay and even for the best given our circumstances. Good luck with work and your energy! Hope you can find a good groove.
Who else is dealing with restless legs syndrome at night? Have any of you tried any lotions/creams for it? I’m really debating picking up something like this...

I bought some on Amazon that are 25 mg which helps https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MQ2MQPW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Sorry that wasn’t clear! I have an attachment on my toilet that I use to pre-wash diapers so they’re ready for the washing machine. Here’s a link so you see what I mean.
https://www.amazon.com/SmarterFresh-Diaper-Sprayer-Premium-Stainless/dp/B014V793E6
When we are home I spray solids off the diaper as soon as I can but if I’m getting from daycare diapers from the morning and not dealing with them until the evening sometimes it makes it more difficult to spray everything loose because it’s had more time to “set” in the diaper. Hopefully that helps!
I’ve been cloth diapering since 3ish months and a lot of what I would say had already been shared though I don’t think anyone had mentioned diaper liners: https://www.amazon.com/Wegreeco-Unscented-Biodegradable-Fragance-Chlorine/dp/B017U5287A
I got these to send in my son’s daycare diapers to reduce needing to spray dried up poop at the end of the day. They are really great, I receive back diapers that need zero spraying most of the time and so it’s much less to deal with at the end of a busy day.
Here’s the one I got, and then ended up converting my dad who is also an unhappy side sleeper too.

I loaded up on these and put them around the house and in my car: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075M3RKK6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_nqmLFbRDXHZAX
I’ve only used 1 so far but it’s sooo much better than using the toilet.
I had to - HAD TO- have a chicken & mushroom Pot Noodle the other day (in case you're not from the UK: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pot-Noodle-Chicken-Mushroom-King/dp/B007XR2IOE) They're like filthier ramen noodles.
It was 9pm. My husband kindly offered to walk to the shop and buy one for me, although I later found out that was cos he was trying to hit 10,000 steps and had only done 9,000)
It was the greatest thing I'd ever eaten in my life. No five-star, Michelin starred meal I could ever eat could even come close. It was the most satisfying, most delicious thing I could ever anticipate.
I bought this bikini trimmer. It works in the shower and keeps everything neat and tidy on the shortest setting.
I ordered this for a pregnancy I lost. I am going to order again.

Kinda keepsake-y
In terms of an app, I really liked Journey. It's simple, you can upload pictures, sort and tag posts.
We used this one from Amazon. It can fit a lot. When we took weekend trips I was able to pack my Spectra breast pump in there with a bunch of other stuff too.
I had a bunch of them 😂. Backpack is the way to go, crossbodies suck.
I was gifted an expensive Ju-Ju-Bee at my baby shower (I think it was the BFF?) I ended up selling it a couple months in because it was constantly sliding off my shoulders.
Then, I got this one off Amazon for my husband (https://www.amazon.com/Multi-function-Straps-Insulated-Pockets-Changing-Anti-Water-Gray-5284/dp/B01MCWVQN1) and it was great! Sturdy, lots of pockets, comfortable. Unfortunately, it got stolen out of our car a couple weeks ago after three years. :(
I got an Herschel Supply diaper backpack as a replacement because it was on sale and I liked that it didn’t look too diaper bag-ish and I could still use it after baby. I like it, but not as much as the Hap Tim. It doesn’t have as much storage and the fabric feels a bit stiff. It’s very cute tho and I’ll probably use it with this baby as well.
I both this for my last pregnancy. I like it cause it went weekly after 9 weeks and then it had some entries for the first year. But sadly my baby died so I didn't get to fill it out..
I used this one last time and I liked it! I didn't fill out some things and there are spaces for showers and all that. But there's weekly spaces I've actually been going back to this go around to see how I felt and when I had appointments. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B010M99X8S/
I’m a mom of 3 and have had HG with two of those pregnancies. This will hopefully be my 4th child (I’m trying to be positive but I have had 2 miscarriages).
That said- product recommendation time! Y’all, trust me, nab some of these and keep in your purse or car.

I don’t have nausea yet, but perhaps you could pack a bento box style lunch with a few different compartments (you can get on amazon) with a few small options, sandwich, crudités, pasta salad or similar so you could pick or choose? Also they are good for grazing. If it helps, this is the prenatal I take. I've seen different recommendations for level of folic acid you should take, and this is higher than everything I've seen. I was told by my gynecologist (before getting pregnant with my first) that it's really important to use one with DHA and this has it as well. They didn't say much at my first appointment last pregnancy, and made it seem like as long as you're taking something, that's great.
