Our August 2018 Book of The Month
“Not in My Neighborhood: How Bigotry Shaped a Great American City” by Antero Pietila
Baltimore
Eugenics, racial thinking, and white supremacist attitudes influenced even the federal government's actions toward housing in the 20th century, dooming American cities to ghettoization. The Federal Housing Administration continued discriminatory housing policies even into the 1960s, long after civil rights legislation.
This all-American tale is told through the prism of Baltimore, from its early suburbanization in the 1880s to the consequences of white flight after World War II, and into the first decade of the twenty-first century.
The events are real, and so are the heroes and villains. Mr. Pietila's narrative centers on the human side of residential real estate practices, whose discriminatory tools were the same everywhere: restrictive covenants, redlining, blockbusting, predatory lending.

Yeah I know of ACBN, I actually have the book on them explaining who is African and who isnt, so I am still learning about this like you as well. https://www.amazon.com/ACBN-Afrikan-Centered-Biological-Nationalism/dp/0578195402
And I agree, we do have dark skinned traitors as well, but we know very well and clearly that they're African. Its only in the United States they go by the one drop rule, in South Africa, UK, etc they will refer to you as either mixed or coloured (especially in South Africa). But then again, you have the Igbo people of Nigeria who produce "light skinned" traits, but none of them are looking like Obama, Kapernick, etc. To trust a mulatto is tough, you don't know their psyche, will they really go and kill their white mother/father? At any given moment they can flip sides and destroy you.
Think and Grow Rich: A Black choice by Dr. Dennis Kimbro. This is the book originally started by Napolean Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich. and finished by Dr. Kimbro. The book essentially is like Think and Grow Rich, but instead focuses on blacks wanting to change their circumstances and use their brain power to think an existence of abundance into reality. Another book by Dr. Kimbro is "The Wealth Choice: Success Secrets of Black Millionaires". Another current read is: "Disciplined Entrepreneurship: 24 Steps to a Successful Startup". This book is more of a technical read for pure business execution and while there may be a good amount of information that can be useful or useless (depending on where you are with your business) it is informative none the less.
