I have the translation by Raymond Faulkner — the old British Museum version, but there's a new one at a very good price:
In short? Plutarch. Dude made the Osiris myth basically the "one true myth of Egypt", and now in Christian times people can barely conceive of a people who allow multiple contradicting myths. I wrote a book on the topic actually.
One of my Mothers is Mafdet, a lesser-known feline deity that was represented by some sort of spotted cat. Replicas of more authentic depictions of Her are few and far between, especially since we have not found many.
I found a lovely cat statue on Amazon with sort of elegant, modern-looking lines than the traditional kemetic style. I use that on my senut shrine, and She is okay with it. Ironically, She's listed as a Bast statue but what I'm getting at is that as long as you and your god are okay with it, it's okay to use just about anything.
Thanks! The top two I’ve had since I was a kid, and I actually found the Djed pillar on Amazon:

I'm currently reading this book and it's a pretty good intro to Ancient Egypt and the myths, and there's an index of gods and goddesses with descriptions.
I paid about 45 USD for each of my figurines and I love them.
This is my Sobek statue, they are cast bronze.
Perhaps in the suggestions, you can find one of your gods :)
As per the book I recommended in my previous post, I believe that many of the duties of ancient Kemitic Priests could be applied to modern times without too much modification. The management of the ancient Temples consisted of much of the bureaucracy we find in most social/community service programs of today.
As for how the Priests of ancient Egypt would govern if brought to the Time of Now, I would then recommend reading, Politics And Government In Ancient Egypt
I believe it is important to have an accurate understanding of how things were ran in ancient Kemit before attempting to modernizing them.
Peace.

This is the Nefertari tarot. It's very nice and seems to have a little more going on, art wise. There's also a tarot called the Brotherhood of Light that looks nice too.
The most highly requested one I've gotten from people online and one I would request myself is the Complete Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Egypt Book
I found this interesting book which talks about the deities secretly and one by one (let me know what yall think)
I highly recommend reading this book to get a good historical grasp for a modern practice... https://www.amazon.com/Eternal-Egypt-Ancient-Rituals-Modern/dp/1440192464/ref=mp_s_a_1_31?crid=1EHK0CNOA4XX6&keywords=egyptian+rituals&pscroll=1&qid=1654728283&sprefix=egyptian+rit%2Caps%2C275&sr=8-31&wIndexMainSlot=26
I don’t work with Sobek-Ra so I can’t offer any UPG, but he is a syncretism of two different gods: Sobek and Ra. Here’s a link to a non academic source on syncretism: http://aminoapps.com/p/a0fe49 this is another blogs view point: https://thetwistedrope.tumblr.com/post/113560993827/do-you-have-any-good-resources-about-syncretism-of I’ve also heard syncretism being compared to atoms where two atoms are separate elements but when they combine they form a new compound.
I generally prefer this one, because it takes out the personal names and gives explanations for the spells, as well as a contents page with all the spells listed. However, it doesn't have the original hieroglyphs.
Sorry for the self promotion, but I wrote this specifically for you 😁.
My favorite story of Set is him helping the dead reach godhood in the Pyramid Texts. He commands the gods to yield to and opens the heavens for the ascended dead, blesses them with immortality.
This Book of the Dead is phenomenal and has over 2,000 five star reviews. I highly recommend you check it out 😃
The best academic translation of the Book of the Dead was produced by R O Faulkner.
My favourite version is the most up-to-date one, which includes illustrations of the original Papyrus of Ani alongside Faulkner's translation.

This is the one that I prefer, because it removes the person-specific bits and makes it appropriate for anyone, it's in English, and there's plenty of editor's and translator's notes explaining things that may be difficult.
Best place to start is definitely The Pyramid Texts. While it's more about the Prince of Darkness take, in my own book on Set I have "The Setian Pyramid Texts" which try to extract that stellar ideology from the huge, often contradictory original. I've been thinking about doing a simplified version without commentary for online purposes, I guess this is my sign.
Best way to start is just get a pdf or kindle of The Pyramid Texts and ctrl+F for Set, then start taking notes haha.
My more Kemetic book is Behold Set: Prince of Darkness
My more Satanic book is The Mysteries of Cain
Do you mean learning Demotic? Or finding the Book of Thoth?
If you’re talking about learning Demotic, the truthful answer is “Don’t bother till you have several years of Middle Egyptian under your belt”. At its current stage, Demotic Pedagogy is basically non-existent, especially if you don’t speak German.
For analysis of Book of Thoth in English, I was referring to this book: https://www.amazon.com/Ancient-Egyptian-Book-Thoth-Discourse/dp/3447050829
I mean I've been at this for less than 2 months and Ra got me into this. But as far as information, Ra is a lesser-known god compared to the others like Horus. However, a book that was suggested for me was https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0195170245/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
There's plenty of info on him you just have to be willing to look as he's still a pretty major god. If a god calls to you that means that they want to work with you. Beginner or not. Hope this helps! :)
I bought a new statue after finding more damages to the back of the statue and the sword, it’s smaller and cheaper but it will be easier to pack up when my family decides to move.
I'm a bit biased, but The Ancient Egyptian Prayerbook has a lovely daily ritual that comes from a more Kemetic background. The whole book itself has a lot of wonderful prayers translated by the author herself, though the ritual I'm referring to is something she wrote herself with research (she's an Egyptologist).
I'm also fond of this one written by a fellow practitioner on Tumblr; it's styled similar to the one found in the Prayerbook.
I thought I knew all the Egyptianising tarots, but that's new to me. It was a good find:
