I would first try a damp rag and see if they will kinda rub clean and be less noticeable, if that didn’t work, I’d go with a light application of Chemical Guys VRP

I don’t think it will take the scratches out at all if they are deep, but might make them less noticeable, also great for any other rubber or plastic bits, and makes a great tire shine, as it is not super “wet’ looking

It is just a vinyl wrap that goes over the chrome. It is a 3M vinyl film that is around $70 on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VCBBW36) We thought about doing it ourselves but decided it was better to have someone else do it. Just the wrap part from the shop cost about $300.

And the higher quality one cost 750 bucks and is me from real carbon fiber. you think for that kind of price it would use the factory pop clips underneath. I have a polypropylene lip on my wife’s WRX. And she’s scraped it on curbs and our driveway several times and it’s held up very well hasn’t broken hasn’t even shifted. With the provided screws I added washers and drove them through the pre-drilled holes and it lines up really well. And best of all it only cost me $70 shipped. It looks fantastic and I’ve already gotten a bunch of compliments. cheers. I sincerely hope you buy one.

I have the Viofo A129 Plus Duo, which is the 2k version. Haven't had any issues thus far. Connects with your phone via wifi to review footage and it takes a microSD card. I bought a heavy-duty one (Samsung Pro Endurance), which makes it less likely to fail in extreme weather conditions. I also bought the polarizing lens for the front facing camera to reduce glare.

In terms of installing the camera itself, there's a big plastic piece underneath the rear view mirror that you can stick the camera on to instead of the window. That comes off and allows you to stash wires behind it as well. If my car gets hot enough, the cam will fall off of the plastic, but that might be because I didn't clean the surface before installing it.

Instead of hard-wiring it (because that seemed hard and I don't have a place to work on my car), I bought an OBD adapter. It plugs into your car's diagnostics port and eliminates the need to solder anything. There's a shelf where the OBD port is that you can stash the wire behind and, without securing it, I've never had it fall out. The adapter also has a switch that you can use to toggle between only sending power when your car is running or "security mode" which keeps the camera on when the car is off. It's useful because if you're planning on keeping your car parked in a private garage for a long time, you can set it so it doesn't run down your battery or fill up the SD card with stuff not worth saving.

It wasn't a perfect fit so you do have to trim it down, but it is holding so far even after several washes doesn't look like it's going anywhere.

That one has worked pretty well for me, has magsafe and wireless charging. It's loosened a bit on the rotational axis but is still my 13 Pro Max at the correct angles.
