So for the headlights I use this kit: LEDCARE Car Headlight Surface
Installation time: 10< minutes Job level: 1/10
& for the bottom light strips,
I used this kit: Govee Exterior Car LED Lights
Installation time: 30 minutes Job level 3/10
These light strips under glow are pretty simple to install, the only thing that was difficult for me was looking for the right places do hide the cables & pass them all the way up to the battery.
Both are basically plug & play. They are App controlled. (separate apps)

Buy a kit like this KeylessOption Keyless Entry Remote Uncut Blank Flip Car Key Blade Fob Shell Case Outer Cover for Kia (Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079G3C6CX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_GGNDNQNB96JN3VDPTN41 swap all the internal over yourself or take it to a locksmith and they should be able to swap the key blade and the internals over for a low cost. Getting an entire new key would be costly because it would have to be coded and the key blade cut.
Disclaimer: this wasn’t done professionally lol I bought these picture hooks and inserted them near the opening on the panels. I’ll take a picture of where exactly when I can.
Nice. These cleaners are the classic way to clean battery posts and terminals. I use a little of this Battery Terminal Protector for good measure. I'm not necessarily endorsing Amazon, you can find these at your local auto parts store.

This is what I use. Just got home today from a week long road trip / camping. Works awesome, and I can throw it in a bag when not in use. Keeps everything dry, and hole a ton of gear.
I had a weeks worth of stuff for me and two kids in the back and I’m this bag, including three lawn chairs. Plus a bike rack on the back.
Yeah so about a month ago I started the process of swapping all my lighting to LED, wanted to improve driving safety because my work shift is typically graveyard.
I ordered these LED's for my headlights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08S36WNBQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And I ordered these for my foglights: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077BT6M6Z?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I also got LED side markers and rear brake lights (including 3rd brake light). Only thing I haven't done yet was LED interior lights (ones I ordered were too powerful and blew a fuse) and then I also had front and rear turn signals ordered but I found out that I would need load resistors for the turn signals, and I just haven't had the time to order new bulbs with load resistors. What happened was my turn signals would be super fast basically, not how it's supposed to be.
And to your question about bulb type it is just one bulb that does both high beam and lowbeam.
I was the one who posted/created the video. That's the previous OCC I had and it worked perfectly. I wanted to get this new one with a dipstick so I could check the levels either between oil changes, and with me installing a remote starter kit, there was a different hood latch and wire that needed to be secured close to the my OCC location and made it a little slanted. The knockoff Mishimoto OCC is a great value (I included all of the parts you need in the video description), but this newer one I got is nice as well. I got off Amazon it was about double the cost. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086HC6V89/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_HFQC9WNCVA01XCH43QQA
My old Mishimoto OCC will probably be up for sale soon after I've confirmed the new one is working properly. It'll come with hoses and everything so it'll be plug and play.
Just ordered these - shopped around and it seems many covers are one-size-fits-all. They should be here by tomorrow and I hope they fit! Amazon has a feature that lets you put in make/model/year for auto parts.
Here’s the link for the Headlights, & here’s the link for the bottom underGlow lights
So I actually have three different converters I bought (I just usually use this one) I bought from Amazon but I have also found some at Walmart and Menards.
Apparently they're no longer available but I got them from Amazon Antlers
And thank you Moth King! First year doing inside lights but second year with roof rack lights.
Welcome aboard! I love that grill style, I wish they were that fancy on the 2018's. My car is under warranty and has the UVO assist. Plus my insurance has roadside care. I don't think I've changed a tire in the last 15 years. You might check your insurance and see if they provide roadside assistance. (It's pretty standard in full coverage packages these days.)
Now, if you're specifically looking for a donut you can get a kit for about $200 from amazon. It's your basic small driving radius spare and a jack. Here's a link: https://www.amazon.com/Kia-Soul-Spare-Tire-Kit/dp/B006VW0V2S
G'luck and welcome to the family!

Also, check your glove box. Each kia i have bought had a paint pen included in there.
TPMS sensors are notorious for going bad, that's across all makes and models. From the smallest European city sprinter to BIG 'OL PETERBUILTS HAWLIN' LAAWWWGS.
It's not a critical failure or anything, just something to consider getting swapped out next time you replace your tires.
I would suggest getting a tire gauge and a tire inflator with a digital gauge with automatic shutoff like this (but not necessarily this one, I keep a Slime branded one that I've had forever). This way you can keep an eye on tire pressures as the air temperatures fluctuate, and getting all your tires the exact same pressure feels a bit better to me.
Here's the part (pack of 4) if you feel like having a tire shop replace it right now. Keep in mind that the shop will need to have a OBDII computer with the ability to pair the new sensors to the car.
Funny story, my company's semi shop forgot to pair the new sensor to my Peterbuilt. They took the tire off, and left the rim at the tire shop. When I came back a few weeks later, the TPMS still in the rim made the truck computer think I had a blowout and sent an SOS message to my company. 🤣
I needed something that could take a spill and general abuse (for the nice seats in a 2022 turbo). My wife works paint and crew for movie/tv sets and won't always be pristine riding around. We got these, at a basically disposable price:

in a 2022 LX that was wrecked. Just replaced the car with a 2023 S and they fit the same.
Most mounts are not vehicle specific, and just depends on what you want. If you don't use wireless charging, magnetic mounts are the most practical. In Texas its also very hot during the summer, and my cheap Chinese phone tends to overheat so I use a vent mount so the cool AC is blasting on the phone and prevents overheating even when I'm playing music, with waze running, and while rapid charging. If you do use wireless charging then a grip one may be better than magnetic: https://www.amazon.com/Phone-Mount-Lamicall-Vent-Holder/dp/B07GQMM65Q
I can't find the original to the one I got, but here is one that's similar here
Found this on Amazon. It doesn’t eliminate the antenna completely, but it does bring it down to 2.5 inches.
It was super cheap! $20 total. Buy 2x of these as there's only 1 of each letter/symbol.
Copypasta - was $20 for 2 sets from Amazon! Each set only had 1 of each letter

Thinkware have some of the best. If you are looking for a cheap one with a full set of features, I recommend the F200pro. It has phone support, 1080p, parking, rear camera support, and night vision as well as a slew of other features. The one I have is the Q800pro, more expensive but has 1440p which I think is the perfect medium between FHD and 4K. They are both fantastic cameras and I highly suggest to only try thinkware cameras. I've included links below. I've used them for years so feel free to ask questions. And I have always used them hardwired, meaning plugged into the fuse box so I can have 24/7 video recording even when parked. It's not difficult but places like best buy can install them for you.

I have a 2015 Soul and it uses H13. That being said LED is the way to go. I purchased these from Amazon and they're great.
highly recommend getting one if you're someone who doesn't like taking the car to the mechanic for every little thing. I got the Blue Driver and it's been great. I had a couple misfiring cylinders a while back and it helped me figure out which they were and replace them, misfire fixed.
center console insert is really nice to have. best add on i've gotten for under $20.

I don't think the 2020-2021 Souls and the 2022 Souls have any meaningful differences in the areas you want to accessorize. You can use a center console organizer like this: https://www.amazon.com/Vesul-Center-Console-Organizer-Storage/dp/B08YVP6353/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=EDFXDDCBSRKM&dchild=1&keywords=2021+kia+soul+accessories&qid=1629833396&sprefix=2021+kia+soul+ac%2Caps%2C170&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUE2U0xJTk1JU0U4NEgmZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA1NDQ0MzEyNDdNQTRaN0lMVjJZJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTAzMjYzNjMxVDdaMk80N1VDTlJJJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==, but I am not sure if there is something that is specifically suited for a Soul regarding back seat organization or cargo covering.
That's what I currently do, but I have a dash mount. Vent mounts don't work well for me, I live in a place where I have to crank the heat in the colder months and it overheats my phone :( My '17 doesn't have built in CarPlay.
The post you replied to with "Update:..." literally walks you through it.
If what you are asking is how do I get that panel off, well... Everything is snap fit together. You need some non marring prying tools, some luck, and a few prayers and or sacrifices to the dieties of your choice would probably be a good idea.

I bought this dash mount on Amazon for $20 and it's been perfect. My phone is right in the middle of the circle (also 2017). I hated the vent mount for the exact reason you stated except I live in the frozen tundra of Western NY and my phone overheats if I have the heat on lol
Hi, I bought something called a HeyTrip roof wrack for my 2020 Kia Soul. You can get it on Amazon. I used it to transport a 4x8 wood framed mirror about 40 miles. It worked perfectly. And I just fold it away and throw it in the back when not in use.

Update: I have since changed the orientation of the hoses to the OCC. I had a read a review on Amazon that the IN and OUT ports were incorrect and followed that advice, but upon further inspection, I think the reviewer may be wrong as the OCC internals don't really match up to what he was saying and I hadn't caught much fluid during my first week of driving.

I just use one like this. It’s sticky on the bottom part, so it’s stuck down to the part where your phone is in the picture, and plugs into one of the 12v sockets. Works well and is out of the way enough / works well for maps.

You definitely want to find a way to keep the heat out of the intake, otherwise you are doing more harm than good :)
Thanks!

They got it in silver too if you prefer that: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ZKBQP7M
I use them to carry my kayak around :)
Here's the ones I have they are slightly cheaper, and other than "Turtle" printed on them, they seem to be similar.
Yeah, there are some gaps, but it makes a little difference. I may go back and build a solid one that will cover everything. I considered these for awhile https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00ICVZWRA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_D03FKZF9D4Q2HVF4XES6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. But they are pretty expensive for what they are. Debating if I should just cover with black vinyl or have a custom design made by a shop.
Get one of these console organizers... I bought it from Amazon. It fits great and adds useful storage. It rests in the top of the console (under the cover). It looks good and will hide all your missing parts below.
I bought these on Amazon.

Here is what they look like on the gt.
I use an iHome suction cup mount I got at a bargain store a few years ago. You can place it anywhere and can be positioned in any way you want. Still going strong after constant exposure to sunlight as well. If I find a pic of it online, I’ll post it here.

I put this under the passenger seat of my 2020 GT Line. Was able to route speaker cables from the stereo and power through the driver's side door, under the driver's seat to the center console. No window-rattling but definitely adds some good low end. It sticks out like an inch or two into the backseat, but it's not in the way really. I tried it in the trunk, but it sounded much better up front.
I have a hitch on my 2018 and use a hitch rack for three bikes.
I’ve used it for the last year, and I’ve been really impressed with it. Sure, it’s not a $300 rack, but this thing is solid. Tips down to allow trunk access. I have the 3 bike rack, and holds them nice and firm.

If you just want to add some bass but not annoy the neighbors in the next subdivision over, I'd go with a spare tire sub. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Cerwin-Vega-Powered-Active-Subwoofer-Application/dp/B07FY9BPVR/
Which should be completely hidden.
You can get tire lettering paint at most auto stores and make pretty much any tire have white lettering

I did just these 3 things to my '11. What I went with was a Kenwood dc9703s for the head unit. It works great, the only downside I have is that you have to plug your phone into it for carplay to work. It's not a big deal, but just one of those things.
https://www.kenwood.com/usa/car/navigation_multimedia/ddx9703s/
For backup camera I went with a cheapo from amazon that goes in place of the license plate light. It has worked great up until about a week ago when the picture stopped transmitting. Either the camera has kicked the bucket, or maybe a connector came loose. Up until that happened it has been great.
To run the camera, you will have to run a video cable from the camera, and a signal cable to the head unit that you hook up to the reverse light. You can tap the reverse light wire for power if you only want it to come on when you go in reverse.
For a remote start, I just went to Best buy and had them do it. They put in a compustar remote start which does its job just fine, so I have no real input on that.
I tend to keep cars for a long time, so I went with things that would help prevent the damage I saw in my last car...
Window vents (rain guards, whatever you want to call them) should prevent water from coming in on the window/lock controls. They add wind noise, but it's worth it to me.
I got the OEM all season floor mats, they were a lot cheap from Amazon than from a dealership... There are third party ones that are supposedly even better, but a bit more than I wanted to spend. Regardless, I won't own a car without some sort of rubber floor mats.
I got bottom seat covers to prevent wear and tear. The exact one I got is no longer available, but basically this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072XXJB3H/
I also wrapped the steering with a cheap wrap. My last car had almost 200K miles on it, and the steering wheel was also looking a little rough. I went cheap, but it seems to do the job well enough: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07JGK6PSD
My last car didn't have a touch screen, but I did get a tempered glass screen protector for my Soul. They're affordable, and seem like a good idea to me.
My daughter complained about the seatbelts in the back, so I bought those fuzzy sleeves to go on them. She appreciated that. I've also been through a couple garbage cans. I still haven't found a perfect one yet, but I've kinda given up.
I just bought the cross bars and roof rack for my 2019. Look nice.

Unless you purchase an ODB2 reader or have a mechanic scan the car's computer with his reader, you'll never really know whether it's a minor or major issue. There are many ODB2 readers available on Amazon, I bought mine for $23 (Bafx Products):
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NLQAHS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Additionally, most auto parts store offer a free scan of your car's computer. Try this before taking it to a dealership's mechanic so that you at the very least understand the severity of the problem.
Regardless whether you check/perform some of the suggestions offered here, the Check Engine light will stay lit until the problem is resolved and the light is cleared using one of these ODB2 readers.
If you're into lighting, I suggest these.

I was pretty salty the 2020 souls came with mood lighting while my 2018 didn't. These changes everything. Super easy install, no drilling, app controlled and music reactive. Made my soul the coolest car on the block.
So rather than trying to figure out a dust cap, I ended up going with these silicone things. They do leave the cord out but the heatsink is out with more than enough room to cool. They seem to seal too. Had them for about a week with some rainy weather and my lights are still doing great.
Did you ask the parts department of your dealership if yhey sell them. That's were I bought my roof rack. There are 4 tabs that are removable on the roof of your car. If you pop those tabs you will see the threaded recievers for the bolts that will hold your rails (or racks) to the vehicle. Good luck. I have a Yakima Rocket Box on roof racks. If you can't find the rails maybe a 4x4 luggage rack monted to a roof rack may fit your needs. https://www.rakuten.com/shop/yescomusa/product/33CRR008-64IN-06_buy/
I ordered them from amazon, LED headlights . They are a tight fit inside the dust covers, but they do fit with some coaxing. Also, I haven’t had any overheating issues so far. This model does have a fan so that might help, even though it’s in a pretty sealed space.
I understand! I don't really have experience with other floor mat brands, but some on Amazon have good reviews. They might not fit exactly, but they should do the job.
Here are a couple I found for much cheaper: FH Group is a brand I see everywhere on Amazon. I've only used their seat covers before and they last for years and years. Motor Trend is labelled "best seller" and has a lot of great reviews.
Hopefully it can help a little or at least lead you on the right direction!
the way the front and rear bumpers go you would put strain on them, i use these on my 2014 front and back and they work pretty well

But I’m little worried about how cheap they are. All the other comparable racks I’ve seen have been over $200
Well, it's good news in that it should be easy and inexpensive to fix, if you could do the work yourself. And it shouldn't be too expensive or difficult for a shop to fix assuming they have a competent electrical guy.
A lot of the time it's just caused by loose wires, especially ground wires. If you want to take a look at it, you might be able to fix it yourself just by disconnecting and reconnecting everything and making sure all the connections are good and secure. Maybe adding an extra ground from the amp to the frame.
I wish I could be more specific, but electrical issues like this are kind of like tracking down a ghost. But basically, you are looking to make sure the grounds are good and all the connections are secure, and that would likely resolve the issue. Sometimes it's caused by your alternator getting a little wonky and making the voltage fluctuate at a specific frequency, which you could fix with a new alternator or sometimes the voltage regulator. But if it's not causing other issues, that's kind of an expensive fix just to fix some line noise.
You can also get something like this https://smile.amazon.com/RadioShack-System-Isolator-Electric-reducer/dp/B002YGM5D8?sa-no-redirect=1 to put in between the radio and amp. That is done often on aftermarket systems to keep the issue you have from happening. But then you would need to know where to install the filter. Between the radio and the amp, obviously, but you would need to know the correct wires to splice the filter into.
Thanks, man. I'm currently using a Rexing V1, and have been pretty happy with it. I'll definitely give the Blueskysea a look.
Well I wasn't able to find my old pictures, it has been a few years since I messed with those lights so I probably deleted them.
This is the load resistor I put into the rear top brake light: https://www.superbrightleds.com/moreinfo/car-install-supplies/led-light-load-resistor-kit-led-turn-signal-hyper-flash-warning-fix/190/831/ This goes across the two wires + and - feeding the brake light so that the load and light are in parallel. Don't do it in series, and I recommend soldering the connections. I attached this to the light itself and not the wiring feeding the light. It was easier to do this way since you can work on a bench.
For the tail light grounds here's what I can suggest. If you pull the light off now and look at the vehicle side socket there will be one pin missing. This is where the LED ground is for the new lights. You can use a multi meter to find the current ground, which should be right below that missing pin. When you get the LED lights you will bridge those two wires on the taillight side.
Also, if you're interested I have a set of OEM front fender repeaters which I would be willing to sell you. They look like this, but you can paint them black with a little effort. https://www.amazon.com/10-13-Kia-Fender-Markers-Repeater/dp/B01I3Y845M
IF you really need the pictures it might take me some time to get them since I have to pull things apart.
You might try something like this if you're on a budget and have some DIY about you.
I have the OEM all weather mats on my 2015. They should fit your 2016 as well. They stunk (rubber smell) for a week or two, but after being in the sun, it finally went away. It wasn't too awful, but slightly noticeable. They're great for the price, and they're an exact fit for the car - which was my main reason for getting the OEM ones.

Sorry for the late reply. If you haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, the OEM All Weather mats on Amazon are absolutely perfect. I have them in my 2015. They're a great price too, especially compared to the WT's.
