I have a light pink satin robe that I love to wear over my pajamas! It's fun sleepwear addition for a soft classic like me. Makes me feel like Grace Kelly!

So I will preface this by saying I think that outside of Strictly Kibbe, the Kibbe system tends to get really reduced to a body typing system--which DK always says it is not. So I'll be approaching this from the holistic system.
Yang traits--active, to yin's passivity; straight lines to yin's curved; bold to yin's demure; mature to yin's youth--these are not inherently masculine. Men are socialized to be these things, in the same way women have been socialized to be "yin." But history itself is a pretty strong argument against this being nature. I'd wager, say, Cleopatra and Georgiana Cavendish would be yang or yang leaning--their power manifested in those active ways that were really challenged in their lifetimes.
For example, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, to me, fits what would be an ingenue in some of the other systems: His energy is youthful and passive, the shapes in his body and face are round. And it doesn't make him any less of a man--if anything, roles that embrace this are the ones he shines the brightest in. There's a reason so many people are on Tom's side in 500 Days of Summer, even though the shouldn't be.
I know Kibbe tends to attract a lot of tradwife red pill types, those who do think that there is inherent femininity and it is demure, passive, soft, and rounded--well, to that I guess all I can say is that even if you reduce Kibbe to "body types," most women are "rectangle shaped," followed by "spoons" and "inverted triangles" (source). The Kibbe analogs for those shapes would generally--though again, Kibbe is not a body type system--be FN/D/FG, DC/D/FG, and FN/SN, respectively. So if MOST women have those attributes, they quite literally cannot be inherently masculine.
I like the color on you, but the rest is a bit shapeless on the bottom... I dunno it's look like a fit-n-drape masquerading as a fit-n-flare.
What do you think about this? https://www.amazon.com/Tsbridal-Bridesmaid-Dresses-Shoulder-12/dp/B07HVVVXTM/
You have nice collarbones and shoulders - this dress would highlight those and given you an option for more structure at the bottom.
I think wrap tops like this work well: Aokosor Womens Deep V Neck Wrap Spaghetti Strap Tank Tops Summer Sleeveless Shirts Blouses https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0891118HX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AU1IFb0KXS81D
Paired with a cardi and some great hair and earrings...it is fitted and also accommodating to a bit of belly....I think I’m a SN and also working on feeling put together!!!
Yes I know what you mean, I’m just not finding it easy to go full Fn either, I can’t explain why! Perhaps for the superficial reason that her face just reminds me of SN faces like Jane Fonda lol!
I grew up in the 60s and 70's so I can throw out some names of models and ads back then, and you can go look.
All these are more "60's" than 70's. Or very very early 70s (and then, only for mature or more conservative women) . There was still some of that "Carnaby Street" British style fashion going on in the 60s, because of the Beatles (who came here in 1964).
But by the 70's clothing got lot less structured as that decade went on. I was in jr high school and all that 60s stuff was on the way out when I was 13-15 in late very late 60s or so and dressing myself so I know what the fashion was out and about. By the time viet nam war was happening a lot of that carnaby street stuff was morphing away from all that.
For instnace, the big plastic geometric earrings (some had fish in them!) were already totally on the way out. TWIGGY's style was iconic 60's style........the swinging '60s in London.......not really the 70s. The TV series Bewitched (Samantha Steven style) was passing out of fashion around the same time (1964–1972). People were still watching The Smothers Brothers.
By early 70s, few women were dressing like that anymore unless they were older and born in the late 40s or something. The counterculture had started taking over.
These outfits in this topic look very gamine to me and are not drapey enough to really do an FN body justice. Too stiff. The sleeveless dresses look better for Classics to my eye, too.
70s clothing started getting a lot softer due to the "hippies"......more toward fringe, crochet,, tassles, longline coats and sweaters, lots more drapey soft clothing.

Not saying they are FN but look at Mod Squad Peggy Lipton was who we all wanted to be in the
I think the first one is better. The second is too long. Try a Pea Coat or Trench Coat or Princess Coat:

I think the grey looks better. Have you ever hear Twee Fashion? You try to add elements of that style your skirt looks. I think the skirt falls into that Twee Fashion category. I think a Peter Pan/Deco (also can be plain) collared shirt would look better than the long sleeve you have (you also just buy the collar)and maybe try another shoe, like a ballet flat. Don’t forget sweater tights.

It's so gorgeous! I wonder if you could order the long version from Revolve to get an idea of the quality and return if it doesn't work out. If it does work out, maybe then you could order from SJ?
Genuine question here, how do lines not exist? Kibbe included them in his book. He has a section dedicated to recommendations and lines/silhouette for each ID. Not trying to be argumentative - just curious if I'm misunderstanding what people talk about regarding lines!
I think that something like this could work really well on someone with vertical and curve (doesn’t have to be that material)(an example)
According to the recommendations, maybe a dress with structure and a material that can hold shape well. I’m not sure if these dresses are exactly what you’re looking for but maybe something like this:
Is this it and is it okay if it’s visible in the back?
I was not able to find the suit online but it is kinda similar to this, but a more luxurious, floaty fabric and white trim on the blazer. The moto jacket was similar to this. See how the belt kinda hangs down so when you’re looking at the whole outfit your eye goes up and down? I felt like that was a little nod to vertical.
this is my best fitting swimsuit to date (but it is a one piece)
After years of buying random sizes, fits and brands, I found my favorite bra Warner's No Side Effects and made a point to find my correct size. It was incredible how much better my clothes looked, and this was before Kibbe. During lockdown I only wore pajamas and I also gained weight, so my beloved bras no longer fit properly, and when lockdown was over I simply couldn't bear the feeling of an underwire. I decided to switch to bralettes, wireless and sports bras that feel really comfortable, but they give me an odd shaped bust. In my country winter is coming, so I'm not that worried about the bust shape issue under heavy clothes, but by spring I'll definitely have to get new bras in my current size.
TL;DR: Yes, generally speaking, a properly sized bra (and the right fit for you) will make your clothes look better. Or at least you'll be able to see a garment's full potential. If you have the perfect bra and a top still looks bad, it's time to ditch the top.
The leafy one? Amazon actually - here it is!
the length of the shirt in the pic I used is off (regular shirt length, not a crop top) because all the photos of it are tucked in but [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZKM7GY2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_MQXPE1QCRHXPEKE6ZY76)
I firmly believe that we're part of nature, and nature is more continuous than discrete (not talking quantum physics here), so each of us is a blend of types (or a shade instead of a clear colour). I'm a SN but I see some SC in myself, and that's what I follow in jewellery and accessories. You can check my Pinterest board but keep in mind that's only Pinterest board, and not reality (in reality I have my wedding ring and a short, delicate gold chain around my neck and that's it).

hey guys i tried to do an east asian kibbe body type compilation^ please check it out and see if I got anything wrong, I'm trying to make regular edits!!
Also I hope you don't mind I used your picture. Just let me know if you want me to take it down and I will.
Great question! It really is confusing.
I can see it when I look at their faces. Leighton has a lot of repeating roundness in her features. If you were to draw a caricature of her face, you would probably draw a lot of circles!
Then if we look at Scarlett's face, there's definitely some roundness, but we see her strong, angular bone structure jutting through.
Scarlett's Angular but Soft Face
Can you see what I mean, at least in the faces?
I ended up finding these and they work great on olive skin! Definitely going to see if I can find some figure skating tights! I found some non bulky boots and booties that I ended up liking

Quick google search, hope it would help. Remember that it should be proportioned to your body so not too big an bulky.
I’m not an expert on yin types, but these might a little more friendly to TR than a lot of athleisure.
Kibbe has actually given feedback on this in particular, it's your lucky day. I think he has only said for FNs. FN he thinks suit bathing suits with very high cut legs and deep neckline.
He recommended something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Odkirk-Swimsuit-Swimwear-Drawstring-Bathing/dp/B07PNWHTXN
This one I LOVED. Everything about it looked just right and I would’ve never bought a skirt like this before until taking a chance based on kibbe recs. I thought I might look like a little girl because I did actually wear these as a child. A lot lol.

The way the blue skirt flared on me is something I would guess is for a classic?
Ok yes, pleats not elastic I got it now lol. I will share something about pleats and maybe this is where I went wrong thinking pleats are out period. I saw a Pinterest outfit, it looked SN enough to me on the model, went straight to amazon and replicated the same outfit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NJC2T7P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_5X3GR303TM4CEF3JJ7SJ?psc=1 This skirt looked so awful on me and did not hang like the model on me, there was a definite unflattering flare starting at the hip. I think for your skirt, it really is something going on with the pencil style really working on you even with pleats. So much that I might try a pleated pencil style myself. We will solve this mystery! 😂
Something like this might be better for TR:

https://www.amazon.com/BGSD-Womens-Classic-Hooded-Trench/dp/B0773R945Y?th=1&psc=1
I impulse purchased these cheap amazon cropped tanks and it’s honestly been one of my best purchases of this year. They hit me right in the smallest part of my waist and are the perfect length for high rise leggings and joggers.
Umm..it's from Myntra(Indian shopping app). Unfortunately I didn't find the same piece in Amazon but here is the link for similar one. It's a stretchable belt from Crusset.
I have a fur headband similar to this that looks amazing (good for formal things) and it does not overwhelmingly shout "FUR!".
Also an ushanka (good for casual things). Both look fabulous! They are light, fluffy, with lots of movement. And very, very warm, good for negative weather!
I have that trademark TR "big head" so adjustable things like the headband are better lol.
I live in a cold-ish region that gets a ton of snow (lake effect belt), so I personally prefer wool coats or hooded anoraks for semi-practical fashion. If I break out the down ski coat either I'm actually skiing or it's well below zero and looking good is not my top priority.
In general: belted, not double-breasted, not too tailored/structured looking. Either cross-over/wrap front, some sort of asymmetry, or some sort of softness or drape in the fabric is good.
I'm actually in the market for a new coat myself, and while I know plaid is not on the list of Kibbe-approved prints for SNs I am SO tempted by this one.
