I’m the same way, the original text is a lot. I believe I have the perfect solution here. Someone come by and correct me if I’m wrong, but there’s also a text called “The Hermetica” which I believe is literally just the Corpus Hermeticum, but translated and cut down into modern English. It reads far more smoothly, Infact each chapter is a poem. Not sure if you’ve read that already, but if not, I highly suggest it. I’m going to give you a link to the book on Amazon, aswell as a youtuber who reads this book and explains each chapter in great detail.
