Use this, it works and it’s amazing. The NRA museum sells this product.
I started by trying this product here, but I couldn't install it without the bolt being blocked from cycling. It was also very misleading, as it was a different type of scope mount than pictured in the Amazon description. I think you can make that one work if you have access to gun machining tools, but I do not.
I went with this product instead. It seems sturdy, and you can install it pretty quickly without power tools. The only downside is that it's double the cost. I don't yet know if it holds zero.
I highly recommend you get this book, only $15. Its got tons of information including complete disassembly and reassembly with pictures. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1973315793/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I had one of these: https://www.amazon.com/B-Square-Receiver-Mounted-Scope-Finish/dp/B0014VVRIS/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
It wasn't solid and I wound up never really using it. I probably still have it in a box somewhere.
To be honest, if I wanted to hunt with mine, I'd just use the iron sights; where I live, most shots wind up being under 100 yards, and my Enfield sights are solid for those distances.
I don't remember who shared this product on Amazon, but I just put in an order for a second pack. They've worked for me in very limited use.
Amazon is where I got mine and I LOVE the look
