I’ve become partial to the locking straps. They were a great solution to some of the issues I was having with my thunderbird & firebird copies. It doesn’t save the neck dive, but it does keep the straps where I want them.
Sure, I could put strap locks on all of my guitars. Or I could just use these. For my playing, this suits my needs.
Amazon has a listing for a righty Michael Kelly Patriot Instinct Bold Custom that lists the weight at 10.58lbs or 4.7kg. I'm guessing that they would be around the same if this is the same model you are looking at.
You can always try sending them an email to .
Mainly blues/funk/rock. And Acoustic (for the reason you suggested).
I found this (Ibanez V50SJP-NT) when searching on Amazon earlier but wasn't too sure.
Firefly is the brand
Here's the Amazon listing.Sold out at the moment. They claim they restock every 15-30 days or so. Most of the ebay sellers seem to be resellers. They go for $130 on Amazon, but people will try and flip them on ebay for $180+. Like this one for $232
I may be way off because I'm not 100% sure what you are asking. But you can achieve what you have there in your diagram with the guitar coming in on the left by using an extension cable. You could cable tie it to the front edge of the board and that way your input is fixed on the left.
As for the wah, the way I do this is not to have it on the board. Which isn't a great answer I know. But if you have it seperate you can position it where you are most comfortable. And it takes up so much board real estate.
Not sure if this is available in Europe, but I saw this one on Amazon
(not gonna lie, had been kinda considering it for myself)

I can't really speak to the quality, but I haven't heard any horror stories about the brand. Probably would need a good setup, and if you were going to play it out with amp, you'd possibly want to upgrade the pickups...
but for an 'around the house' unplugged guitar, this would get the job done.
You're welcome! If you want to hear it, the only decent recording I have of the guitar is this e.p.: https://www.jamendo.com/album/38175/supertele
It's basically the red special into a fender twin, nothing more, nothing less. Definitively non-Queen material :)
A right handed bar SHOULD go in as it should still be threaded the right way to tighten in. As far as I know they don't reverse the threading.
What you will have to contend with is that, unless you specifically buy a straight bar, it will turn slightly away from you.

Thats a right handed bar and you can see the bend in it coming towards the player, it'd be turned away from you if you used it in a lefty.
^I'm aware that sounds sort of obvious and condescending but I'm just trying to cover everything.
Also, unbeknownst to a lot of people there is a spring in there that typically falls out and gets lost and usually isn't noticed. Your spring has almost certainly gone if you've not had the arm in in a long time so you might want one, they're not essential by any means though.
And finally, you can definitely get lefty bars pretty easily, heres an amazon link to one https://www.amazon.com/Fender-Tremolo-Arm-Standard-Handed/dp/B005HZ4S24
I have one of these Oscar Schmidt by Washburns that was more than the price of the OP electric, and still a lot less than I could have paid for an acoustic 12-string.
It's easy enough to play, and I really like the way it sounds, but (like you say) I have to tune every time I pick it up. And re-tune after every third or fourth song I play too. The saving grace is that it has a built-in LED tuning meter.
I think 12-strings are like magic, because you play them like a regular guitar but they give you a whole extra layer of sound. It doesn't work unless it's almost perfectly in tune though, so you get that chorus effect.
