They say if you can provide proof that you are related to the Keferstein family you can join them (for a small yearly fee) - they are even doing family reunions and have a lot of internal informations. Maybe the even have private copies of the book
Also there seem to be prints located in different libraries in the US.
I'd like to add the Leipzig Move App (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.tafmobile.mobility.leipzigmove)
Mostly useful for looking up where and when the trams go, but sometimes unreliable. I personally prefer the website of the LVB at www.l.de/v
Öffi Journey Planner I love their door-to-door trip planing and how they visualise that information.
I use Leipzig Move only for getting my public transport tickets.
A lot of translations are missing throughout the App, so be prepared for random German words.
If you just want to buy tickets the DB Navigator App might be an alternative: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.hafas.android.db&hl=en&gl=US
This website might help you.
You can also download the LeipzigMOVE app which is also available in English.

To set the language to English go to "Einstellungen" in the left tab and then to "Sprache". You can then choose between English and German.
There's plenty of spaces to behold. Depending on where you start from you might go west to Zschochersche Straße (a textile mill, I believe?) or east to a former purveyor of fine bookbinding machines, to begin with.
