I don't think this feature will come to LunaSea, but instead I think users should install NZBHydra2. It adds a lot of complexity (since different indexers can return different data), and instead NZBHydra2 handles all of that for me, and includes more features like stats and such. NZBHydra2 is already supported within LunaSea and can be added as a regular indexer.
Ah, was just typing out a response but that's great to hear!
This is everything that happens during the splash screen, my guess would be NordVPN and Firebase are not playing well together, and LunaSea waits for the initialization to timeout before continuing.
Is there any reason to run arrs behind VPN? I’ve been using haugene’s transmission-openvpn and all the arrs without VPN for the last three years now and haven’t had a single issue.
As for using LunaSea outside home network, I am using WireGuard with connect-on-demand (and Pi-hole on top of that).
It’s possible that you need to update your Sonarr/Radarr instances, or even your host computer. LetsEncrypt’s root certificate recently expired which may be a potential cause.
If your machine (or Docker image, etc.) is still using the old certificate bundles it will fail to verify the certificate and won’t send the notification.
You can check https://notify.lunasea.app/health to see if the certificate is showing as valid and that the relay is accessible.
Two minor suggestions: NGINX Proxy Manager is definitely the easiest way to set up a reverse proxy and WireGuard is far superior to OpenVPN.
Oh, but while I'm here: love your app, well done. I'm surprised to learn it's written with Flutter given how native it feels.
