Yay! I have the perfect thing. Someone posted this a while ago and I had to save it: A great guide for anyone who is hesitant about pairing colors
Hope it helps :)
Oh definitely, there's too many wand shapes to keep track of. I think the hourglass shape is to grip the inner most and outer most lashes more, like this
I'm on mobile so don't mind the terrible formatting
Hey there, I have the same issue. When I don’t want to use lip liner, I use Cargo HD’s Picture Perfect Lip Primer. It’s a slightly tacky base for your lipstick that you put on first. You let it dry and then you can put on any lipstick or gloss without the bleed! I got it at Kohl’s (I’m in the US), looks like it is also available on amazon here!
Hi! Just wanted to let you know that the Fenty sponge that's $18 is actually just a stipple sponge in a fancy box. You can get stipple sponges on Amazon for pretty cheap. It will work exactly the same as the Fenty one and you have some money left over.
Just swipe your brushes on the stipple sponge, and the pigments wipe away because of the stipple sponge's texture, which catches the pigments in your blending brush.
I use a few Asian beauty products. https://www.amazon.com/KARADIUM-Collagen-Smart-Sun-Pact/dp/B01M73R7R2/ref=sr_1_11?crid=2SYJGKPHFKWDT&keywords=sunscreen%2Bpowder%2Bjapanese&qid=1652768704&sprefix=Sunscreen%2Bpowder%2Bjap%2Caps%2C199&sr=8-11&th=1. Powder is easier to reapply over makeup
I agree with the other posters, gold would suits you better
For eyebrows, they make little stencils with different shapes, you find a shape that suits you and you just put some eyeshadow in the shape with a brush, very simple to use, you can't mess up (french amazon, sorry, but you get the idea: https://www.amazon.fr/Eyebrow-Waterproof-Reusable-Stencils-Buildable/dp/B09FL4HLC3/ )
THESE!!!! I cut one open after use too and it does not absorb the foundation like other cheap blenders. I love them and have had no issues!
I find that the right mascara with the right applicator makes the world of difference. I use Maybelline clump crusher in the green bottle for my lower lashes and it works amazingly. It's applicator curves slightly so it makes it really easy to gets start in the lash line and it doesn't get a lot of product on it so it doesn't get on your skin as easily.
I swear by this liner. I wear it every day and it never smudges. Plus, the felt tip is super precise.
This is what I’m currently using: Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless Liquid Foundation Makeup https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PFCSUNC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_jaKfeyzQXe2xR
I wanted to start off cheap since I have just started getting into makeup this year, but it might be time to start investing in something a little better.
I did wash my face off with some warm water so I guess it was damp and I would say used just a tad more than I needed.
So should I use lip primer, balm, or just let it dry before I put any on?
I bought some liquid eyeliner while I was visiting Japan last year, and like it even better than Kat Von D's Tattoo Liner. It's called Heroine Make, and you can get it from Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/HEROINE-Japanese-Smooth-Liquid-Eyeliner/dp/B082J6YB12
Personally I'm really loving a Jessup set I bought about a year and a half ago. I was looking for the same, a relatively affordable set (except more than eyes) and kept getting really good feedback here on them, plus reviews I checked were really good too.
There's a 25 piece set for $50 CND or $35 USD approximately. Also their 15 piece set for eyes only is $16 USD or $23 CND, approximately again depending on where purchased...I bought my set off of Amazon when there was a sale, multiple colours available.
I seem to reach for them over high end ones which surprises me tbh, they've held up extremely well and wash nicely with minimal to no shedding (and I wash my brushes very often). I would easily buy again and definitely recommend them.
Oddly enough this look is crazy popular in South Korea right now. They have berry colored lips stains as well.
Enjoy!
