Here, i haven't tried it though.
Im level 126 in the english version i dont wanna start from scratch...
I often download APKs for testing, ripping assets, and other things (no comment). So I have done this way too many times. I thought I would share it since it is different than what you described. Not exactly sure if I will play or not, but for those who want to.
I typically use apkpure, I've used it for 3 years without having any problems. They also keep older versions as well which is sometimes useful for me... not really you guys in this case, but I feel comfortable in giving them the u/bryku stamp of approval.

Recently I have been using XAPK Installer. I haven't used it much, but so far no problems. If you are worried at all, you can also uninstall it afterwards.
You can manually install them, but personally, this is way easier. Sometimes files get moved and this way you don't have to worry about that mess.

Open up xapkinstaller, it is exactly straight forward, it even has a way to automatically find xapk or apk files and it will tell you the list of them.
Select the one you want (massforthedead) and install it. xapkinstaller will make you watch an add first, but its 30 seconds and it will install it.
GG you are done, find it amongst your apps and play. Have fun with the JP.
If you are having troubles learning what to do, or not sure about a setting I suggest taking a screenshot. The google translate app can translate images.
I downloaded the APK from https://apkpure.com/nl/mass-for-the-dead/com.overlord_game.english
And then put it in a mobile emulator (Nox)
