Thanks for replying. It all works fine on my windows PC and Kodi with the NordVPN app but on 2 separate Raspberry Pi / Libreelec systems it worked up till a few days ago. I use VPN Manager to automatically connect to NZ with NordVPN. When I open TVNZ it says connected to NZ, but I still get a Geo Block error. It's obviously not your plugin, but something related to either Nord or VPN Manager.
Thanks for an excellent collection of add-ons! The only issue I've had of late is that when I have my VPN connected, alot of the add-ons won't work giving various errors. If I disconnect my VPN they start working again. I looked into split tunneling but my client (CyberGhost) doesn't seem to allow app exclusions (to exclude Kodi), only URL exclusions. It would also be great to be able to keep it on to watch content from other regions using the VPN anyway. Is there any particular URLs I can add to my VPN exclusions to get around this issue, or a setting in configuration of the add-ons or some other way to fix the problem? Thanks!
Hmmm, that's interesting. I can email the Smart DNS Proxy support team to report this problem but in the past, they told me that their support is usually limited to official apps and not Kodi add-ons. Can your add-on be adjusted to function more like the Android TV app which still works or would that not be practical?
Hi Matt
Not sure where to contact you directly.
Sorry for the irrelevant comment here.
I have a TVHeadend server set up on a free VPS instance in the US, and running Unlocator (as it's the only DNS that I know of, that support TVNZ & Three, and works on a Date Center IP) Although I am still in the process of getting TVHeadend customized to my liking the TVNZ channels don't work through your TVNZ links, but seems to work on the TVNZ On demand website, but I get an error message on Demand, but I can see the TVNZ Picture underneath it while TV3 seems to play flawlessly through your links. Would you have any idea what the issue could be?
Many thanks
Paul
Many thanks for creating this add-on - it works great on my standard setup (Kodi Leia 18.7 running on a RetroPie build on Raspberry Pi 4).
I have had issues when attempting to use my VPN (ExpressVPN). I'm based in the US, use a local VPN site and have a US subscription to HBO Max. I occasionally get error windows like the following:
HBO Max (0.1.4) - Unexpected Error
ConnectionError: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /express-content/urn:hbo:episode:GXkRkPgoDro7CZgEAABqh?country-code=us&product-code=h... (Caused by NewConnectionError('<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x92235d30>:Failed to establish a new connection: [Errno 111] Connection refused',))
I've tried tweaking some settings (e.g. increasing the number of HTTP Retries to 20) to no avail. Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere!
Freeview API seems to be down (eg. if you use their app probably also doesn't work: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=au.com.freeview.fv&hl=en_AU) Once they fix it, it should come back
HI guys,
I enjoy watching UK FTA channels. I stumbleded across this app on the playstore and purchaaed.. But unfortunalty it's locked to "Live Channels" where as i use Tivimate. Is there a way to locate the streams? And create m3u/epg? The author notes these are all FTA etc juat taken from the broadcasters website
here's the app here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.princes.android.princeolivier&hl=en

Thoughts?
Can confirm

openvpn config, ddwrt router. JSON error on Kodi. unusable when attempting to use from Chrome browser. Anyone know of any VPN services not blocked?

Just in time for finals
Libreelec on Pi4. Have tried both with VPN and without (I live in Norway, using VPN Manager for OpenVPN - NordVPN Account) and results are the same.
Changing VPN servers (always in the USA, as that's where the account originates) doesn't change anything in the Disney+ addon either.
So I have a workaround. Connected to Obfuscated Servers (Singapore) with NordVPN, then can get Rugbypass to play, all be it a bit slower, so had to select slower feed.
Tried just adding the IP address into your settings, without NordVPN working and it doesn't work.
Also with standard VPN I was unable to connect to the on my computer, but using the Obfuscated server I was able to login and view on PC
Looks like that’s it. I just tried to log in on my phone: with VPN . They must’ve just started to block VPNs because I’ve been able to login and watch with ExpressVPN on my MacBook up until last week. Do you know of any workarounds or am I screwed?
Hi Matt, I downloaded this app from playstore.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.princes.android.princeolivier&hl=en
It's quite peculiar, it opens Live Channels and autouploads EPG & UK Freeview streams.
Is there a way to see the source for the streams (inside the APK) as whne i open the live channels app it' doesn't overtly point to where the source file is? As i ideally would like the streams part of my NZ_AU IPTV M3U that i get currently - any thoughts would be great! TIA
Sure, I use the below app to extract APKS
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ses.app.apkexport&hl=en
i did see your other reply and I did reply. Anyway, you can use an app to save the apk file then copy / upload it somewhere.
I use APK Export https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ses.app.apkexport&hl=en
You'd need to ask WBMC to include it.
It's a binary add-on and pretty sure can't just be installed on Android like a normal add-on.

They seem to think it is installed:

Also, what is benefit of using WBMC instead of Kodi?

I just installed their 18.3 from Playstore and it does have Inputstream Adaptive.
It's just disabled by default. Go to My Addons > VideoPlayer InputStream > Inputstream Adaptive.
And enable it.
