Is the doctor exploring other possible causes for symptoms? If not, find a new doctor. Perimenopause can start in your 30s. Early 40s is not uncommon for perimenopause. * If your doctor is exploring other possible causes for symptoms, that's not necessarily a bad thing, but simply claiming you are too young is odd.
I was 43 when symptoms got noticable enough that I brought it up to my doc, but in retrospect, I believe it started a couple years prior. I still have totally regular periods, but have vaginal dryness, incontinence issues, night sweats, insomnia and mood swings.
Your wife needs to get her hormone levels checked. Low testosterone can impact a woman’s sex drive too. Also there’s a great book if you can find a copy, she comes first. It’s both thoughtful and funny.

First, I hope your chemo is over and achieved it’s purpose and that things are going the right way! I do shave the peach fuzz off my face, which is another thing that started with menopause. I haven’t noticed a difference. What grows back is the same fuzz and same whiskers. That’s said, you could also try waxing?

Add d-mannose to your morning beverage. It makes the bladder wall slickery so bacteria don't adhere. It works well for both me and my cat (who has occasional issues with UTIs too, even though he's on a prescription diet). No Rx needed.
I carry a handheld fan with me, it's so great at helping with hot flashes.

A book that helped me tremendously is “In The House of The Moon” by Jason Elias and Katherine Ketcham. Taking a look at my life from the viewpoint of seasons makes it less scary to go through these changes. We are in the autumn of our life and autumn is a beautiful season! We are drawing inward and becoming stronger and wiser so as to weather the winter!
You are not alone and what you wrote is not only very common but very normal. I genuinely believe that if we can change our perspective, however, this grief can turn into awe of the mystery of what it is to be human and what it is to be a powerful woman.

My peri weight gain was awful. I felt like the Michelin Man with a tire of fat smacked around my belly, seemingly out of nowhere. No energy, tired all the time but with crazy insomnia, and an awful bloated feeling all the time. A few years later, I've figured out that I can eat about half of what I used to, and that I absolutely have to stay active, even if it's just a walk around the block.
My metabolism completely tanked and after thyroid issues were ruled out by my doctor, I looked into natural supplements. The best I've found is a metabolism/adrenal fatigue supplement by Adrenal Works: https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Energy-Metabolism-Booster-Pills/dp/B07666BZS6/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=adrenal+works&qid=1624231816&s=hpc&sr=1-4
I swear by it and notice a difference in my energy levels when I'm not taking it, but recognize it might not be for everyone. In any case, you're not alone!!
Maybe? I am experimenting with this myself after reading a book The Happy Menopause
As a vegetarian, not all of her recommendations are straightforward for me but adding protein and reducing sugar specifically has helped with the hot flashes.
I thought I was developing a serious eye disease that would eventually blind me. Turns out it is just stupid dry eyes. To go with my dry mouth, dry skin and my dry vagina. I spend so much time lubricating myself, it's getting weird.
I found that the overnight gel drops really help.

I found this one that has general dosing instructions, but my main concern is if there’s a happy medium dose to start out, and whether it should be implemented in a specific time frame within your cycle or if it’s something that can just be a daily dose. I don’t want to jack up my rhythm while I’m trying to figure this out.

I can't live without "Driftoff" sleep aid. The only place I can find it is on Bezos's US site. It has melatonin, tryptophan, Valerian root, hops, etc.... and puts me to sleep in 20 min. I wake up feeling refreshed with zero hangover. I highly recommend it, it's the best combo I've ever tried, everything else makes me sluggish in the morning, but not Driftoff:

I'm also on the Keto diet, not to lose weight, but because it makes me sleep like a baby. Like I don't wake up AT ALL throughout the night, and I wake up feeling refreshed. Keto pretty much changed my life, but it's not for everyone. I've had my blood monitored for nearly 2 years to make sure there were no negative side effects (kidney stones, high cholesterol) and so far everything is just fine. I never knew I wasn't sleeping well until I tried keto and then started sleeping deeply, and waking up well rested. It was a life changer, esp during this phase in life.
Should prob mention that I did this stuff before I started HRT with good results, and now I do all three and feel human again.
Good luck!

Localized estrogen (local where it stays in your vagina) does not carry any risks....in that it does not travel throughout your body like estrogen pills/patches do, therefore there's no link for breast cancer risk.
Also have you read Estrogen Matters? Written by a Medical Oncologist, whose wife had breast cancer.
I care for my elderly mother and she always has a pad on the bed.

Now that I think about it, this is one good thing about menopause! I haven't ruined a sheet in a couple years!
Thank you!
I agree, I do get to a point where I cannot suppress my frustration, and I do tend to blow up; this happened before menopause also, but has gotten worse since the hormonal rollercoaster of menopause (or at least perimenopause specifically.)
It probably doesn't helped that I am reading Untamed right now :)

There's really no proof that supplements work. MHT/HRT works for some, but if not, then testosterone may help as well. The other piece is 'cultivating' desire, and this book is very helpful. Better Sex Through Mindfulness: How Women Can Cultivate Desire
Yes. There are several kinds, but this is the one I have. https://www.amazon.com/Merkur-Long-Handled-Safety-Razor/dp/B00374F5CY
Personally I prefer the Shark razor blades, but you may be able to find a mixed pack to try different brands. The blades are pretty cheap, around $13 for 100… I use them for for my legs and face—it takes me years to use them all.
This fan thing has been a lifesaver for me. I am in the Southern hemisphere where summer is gearing up, and I wear this thing everywhere and I don't care.
There are stretchy no underwire sports bra like bras that still have back clasps but also still make you look like you have two boobs.

I don’t know if this is something you can take, but it’s the only supplement I’ve tried that had any positive effect on libido. I am thinking of going back to it once my current maca supplement runs out.
Love Me Menopause Supplements for... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F9XDWLS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It’s called “Love Me” and has a red bottle with various herbs for menopause in it. I think the combo of Horny Goat Weed and DHEA (and possibly Maca) is what makes it effective because I’ve taken the other ingredients before and they help with perimenopause symptoms but not with libido issues. When I took this supplement, I definitely noticed having more interest in intimacy.
I’m taking a Maca, Ashwagandha & Rhodiola supplement now and while it helps a little with fatigue, it is not as effective as the Love Me supplement was as far as libido and mood.
Sometimes? If it happens, I get a flushed face.
I bought two ofthese jade rollers which I keep in the freezer. Whip those out and roll over your cheekbones and the hot flash goes away for me. Your mileage may vary.
Have you thought about boxing or maybe getting some of these? I feel so lethargic, I wonder if that's feeding into my pent up rage https://www.amazon.ca/Visit-GoSports-Store-Simulation-Basketball/dp/B07XZTX9JV
Maybe get some of these pill bottle toppers, they record when the last time the bottle was opened so if you ever get nervous that you haven't taken your pills yet, you can check to see the last time you opened the bottle!
I have to do this with my ADHD medication and there have been two times in the last couple of weeks that they've come in really handy!! Once I was convinced I'd taken the meds but saw the bottle recorded 26 hours since last opening, and another time I went to take my pill and saw that I'd just opened it an hour and half before and forgotten.
I'm so sorry. Have you found r/poflife yet? For women and girls with POF.
I also recommend you read this book.
I think right now your #1 priority should be to take care of your health. Find an HRT regimen that will work for you. This will take months, maybe a year.
Next priority is your relationship with your boyfriend. You have to tell him and work out how this will affect your future. As mentioned by others, you can still have children, with donor egg or donor embryo, most likely. Start saving up for it. I've never met someone who has used donor eggs who ever felt like their children were less their children just because it wasn't their egg. Ideally this won't affect your relationship at all. Practically, it might affect it a little bit but you'll overcome it together.
The way to feel and to react is to grieve what you have lost. Give yourself plenty of time. And eventually you'll come to accept the situation. You may want to talk to a counselor to help with that.
I love the supplement by Source Naturals called GABA Calm. It has L-Tyrosine and Taurine in it as well. I use it for panic attacks but I think taking one in the AM and one in afternoon could really help. It gives just a mild chill feeling and takes away the edge of anxiety and probably irritability.

I think everyone needs to know their CBC, CMP about every 4 months. (on Ulta Lab I think you can get them for about $20.00). These simple tests can be warning signs of SOOOOO MANY PROBLEMS.
IMHO, you need to know your VItamin D, Iron, Vitamin B12, ferritin. HS-CRP, Sed Rate. Fasting Insulin, C-peptide, Hemoglobin A1c, and TSH. Hormones are tricky but you can get them and see if they are way out of range etc. I found out recently there is a test B-type natriuretic peptide that can give you an early notice of heart failure. Why isn't this part of everyone's yearly blood tests??? !! Especially over 50? Instead my doctor wants to test cholesterol again...
And lets say there are no problems with your tests. You get a solid idea about what you're normal FOR YOU and if a test comes back abnormal for you... you are on notice something is off.
If anyone is interested I did do a book on what I found out, be nice I rushed it, and it has terrible formatting. It isn't specific to menopause.
I have been taking a multivitamin gnc women’s energy and metabolism. I probably don’t need to, but I use the vitamin B to keep track how hydrated I am, lol.
I also started a menopause support supplement. I took it out of desperation/curiosity and didn’t expect it to work (it’s also pretty cheap, I wasn’t going to splash out money on a long-shot). It contains soy isoflavones, black cohosh, and dong quai, and some other things, but these were the 3 that seemed to be considered moderately effective in literature. It comes with 60 capsules, you are supposed to take 2x/day; I only took one, and I took it for 30 days, then stopped.
I have to admit, I was feeling pretty good while on it, but I suspected that was because I got through an event I was stressed about. I stopped taking it, and here we are 2 weeks later and I’m much sweatier, stinkier, moodier, stressed. I also had a “normal” on-time period while on it, after a bunch of late ones, and now it’s delayed again; I’m not convinced that is related but it surprised me.
I’m planning to start it again in December, just to see if things revert. I really hope they do because the difference between now and a few weeks ago is a lot and I would like to go back to there. I’m a little worried about the cohosh, I have heard some people say they have to cycle on/off it to not stress their livers.
My issue isn't a peri/meno issue, but insomnia (and night terrors) from CPTSD is something I've dealt with for decades. Sleepy time tea never did anything for me. And since I cannot (and *never* recommend because it can make your sleep issues worse, plus it exacerbates night terrors) take melatonin, my therapist many years ago suggested valerian as a substitute. Way back then, I found Triple Leaf's Special Relaxing Tea at my local Asian market (though as you can see it's available on Amazon) and created a ritual of a small pot of tea before bedtime using it. Valerian by itself tastes like shit, no lie, but this blend is pretty nice (it has chamomile and mint to balance/mask the taste/smell of valerian) and I've never had any issues with it. A little honey, and it's perfect.
I've since discovered valerian root capsules, which I mostly use instead, simply for the convenience. I do still keep and drink the tea, but only for comfort's sake, mostly, when I need the ritual before bed. The capsules are pure valerian, so they don't smell very good, but once they're down I don't find they have any sort of weird aftertaste or lingering odor. I don't get a hangover from them, either, like I do from a lot of OTC sleep aids (including melatonin).
No, you apply it to your lashes and brows like mascara. I’m trying it now but there are mixed reports on it actually doing anything. The dermatologists I follow on YT all day it doesn’t actually have any effect, but I’ve seen a lot of before/after photos that look incredibly convincing to me. It’s cheap, not harmful, so worth trying, IMO. this is what I ordered but there are tons of similar products.
It's probably best to get stabilized on your MHT/HRT before introducing testosterone. 1 pump of estrogel is an extremely low dose, so take a look at that first. Also, the 'standard' dosage of progesterone is 100mg daily, so not sure why 150 was prescribed.
You may also need an extra boost of localized estrogen to the vagina to help with any dryness.
Finally, sometimes MHT/HRT may not help with with sex drive and other interventions are required, like pelvic floor therapy etc. Also I highly recommend the book Better Sex Through Mindfulness by Dr. Lori Brotto. Dr. Jen Gunter also recommends this and recently did a podcast/instagram post in discussion with the author about libido.
Mostly because the toxin build-up.
The Armpit Detox Scrub by Berlaney works to eliminate odor caused by bacteria. The smell is of peppermint and it leaves a cooling sensation on you.
I use this one, but have actually never used any other one to compare! This worked, so I've stuck with it and never tried others!
My previous PCP had me taking Magnesium for the past few years and my new MD/NP doctor recently changed me to Pure Magnesium (glycinate) https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Encapsulations-Magnesium-Glycinate-Physiological/dp/B0058HWV9S because she said it is better absorbed by the body and reasonably priced,.
Instead of taking it at night my new Dr has me taking 3 capsules daily, 1 at breakfast, 1 at lunch, and 1 at dinner. After a couple weeks I am already reaping the positive effects.

I became surgically menopausal in my 30s. A few comments:
1) please join r/poflife, a subreddit for women like you who have premature ovarian failure/premature ovarian insufficiency. You'll find support and guidance there
3) The medical recommendation for women your age with POF is to be on hormone replacement. The benefits greatly outweigh any potential down sides. It's vital you do this and soon, as you are losing bone density as we speak. I think once you do this, a lot of your issues will be cleared up
4) Your dating life isn't over! You'll likely regain an interest in dating after you start hormones (including testosterone). You can also still have children if you use a donor egg.
I take this stuff 2x a day. It took about 4 days and man has it changed my game.
Hello, was looking for exactly the same item 5 minutes ago, so good timing!
Evening Primrose Oil for hot flashes and night sweats.
The trick is to get an EPO that has a high GLA and, I believe, that cold-pressed is important as well.
When I took EPO the first time about four years ago, it worked almost instantly.
Then, after about two years, it stopped working.
I *think* the EPO may have stopped working because I did not get cold-pressed when I switched brands.
Then it started to work again when I got cold-pressed.
I take EPO every single day with food.
One capsule is fine for me.
Must take every single day without fail.
I take it around the same time in the evening.

Three cheers for resistance training. I've been doing it on and off since college and I always feel and look better when I'm on. I do recommend working with a trainer as you start, because good form is essential to preventing injury and, as I've aged, I've noticed it takes longer to recover from injury. You want to work your big muscle groups first during a workout: chest, back, glutes, quadriceps, abs. Thus you start with bench-press or push-ups, rows, squats, and planks or other ab exercises. Then you move to smaller muscle groups: biceps and triceps, hamstrings, calves: curls, tricep extensions, calf raises. You can do versions of all these exercises at home with inexpensive bands - no need to shell out for a fancy gym.
Finally, pay attention to your feet! Your feet are the foundation of health for the rest of your body and mine were real messed up. Check out Gait Happens for information and exercises to make your feet strong.
The cooling pad really, really, really helps, also. The tag says Carbon Cool, mid loft on it, if that helps.
Sounds bizarre, but try liquid chlorophyll. I’m using the Benevolent brand and while I think a lot of the purported benefits aren’t possible, I do think it helps with BO.
I’m going to use these once a week (not daily) and see how it goes. I’ve only used one so far, but it seemed to almost immediately help with mood and libido a bit. Plus it makes your vagina smell like chocolate (cocoa butter)! lol
I bought Dr Song 10% wash and it really helped my armpits not be so bacterial loaded that they smell.
I used bead organizers. Like this https://www.amazon.ca/Stackable-Containers-Fengek-Cosmetic-Organizer/dp/B0922SQHQW/ref=sr_1_10?crid=12LHOAIOV3V3D&keywords=bead+organizer+round&qid=1661780478&sprefix=Round+bead+org%2Caps%2C133&sr=8-10 And then I stack them as needed. I use 4 for each day and can grab as many as I need for how many days away etc. They definitely fit more than most pill organizers and I love them. I set them out and fill about ten days at time.
Okay one thing I totally balked at was having the M-F pill organizer like my parents, and also they're shit to travel with because the second anything hits the top latch, that compartment pops open and everything spills. Plus the compartments are so small for all of the amount of room the container takes up!
I'd been using this container for my 'car pills' - so like pain killers, anti-nausea, emergency migraine meds, etc. and I love it because when closed it's tiny and doesn't scream PILL CONTAINER, and it holds way more than you think it will.
So I was looking for something similar that will hold a full week of pills while traveling (or to use on my counter so I don't have 20 pill bottles out on display) and I found this container which is bigger but similar to the one I'm using in my car. It's been in my Amazon cart waiting until I have enough stuff to justify an order, so I haven't gotten it yet, but it's the same sort of design so I have high hopes! Look at the pics in the review, the ones in the description look photoshopped.
I have been using [Marc Anthony Curl Lotion]z(https://www.amazon.com/Marc-Anthony-Strictly-Defining-Definition/dp/B000ZZQMCK/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3BP49Z41FJSIG&keywords=curly+hair+lotion+marc+anthony&qid=1661569223&sprefix=curl+hair+lotion+marcanthony%2Caps%2C134&sr=8-3) for a few years now. It's been the only thing that keeps my curls from frizzing without weighing down my hair. I can even skip a few shampoos, and all I need to do is give the back of my head a few spritzes of water and scrunch it to keep it looking good.
Women don't necessary have a spontaneous libido, but more receptive, where desire comes after arousal.
Better Sex through Mindfulness by Dr. Lori Brotto is an excellent book.
Have you considered a portable AC unit? 86 is up there.
My mother just sent me this cold massage roller that I keep in the freezer, works really well.
I have heard of people, not just women, buying XL/L dog cooling pads for this reason. That was just what I found with a google search, it might be worth that kind of money just to try it. If it doesn't work you could donate it to the local shelter or vet.
I'd guess they'd go under the bottom sheet. I've never used one but I've thought about it. I've always been a hot sleeper even long before menopause.
I got three of them , and also I wear a bunch if these T-shirt dresses
I second the bra liners. I got something like these. Game changer in the summer.
First I have to say that I'm not quite clear on why it's any of his business if you want to go with HRT?
anyway maybe this book could help https://www.amazon.com/Estrogen-Matters-Hormones-Menopause-Well-Being/dp/0316481203

This might not fit what you're looking for, but i found it helpful: https://www.amazon.com/This-Changes-Everything-Menopause-Perimenopause-ebook/dp/B09MJQ5KQB
PS:
Also, this book (which will come out soon) is very hotly anticipated in the UK:
I found this very helpful. Not like an extended academic paper - but very readable and based on facts and studies, which she cites properly.
Not sure why your husband thinks he should have a say in what you do with your own body, but that's a whole other thread, I guess!
Not the OP but I like Pro Dental for no specific reason except it was the kind I tried first and it worked really well so I've never switched!
I love mine!! I was a continuous hot flash! I also swear by estroven
1) hydrocortisone. It will sooth redness and irritation that may be a result of a mild allergy to the adhesive 2) get adhesive removal wipes and use as soon as you remove each patch.
Dental probiotics!! In peri when our tissues start to dry out, it changes the landscape of the bacteria on our teeth, tongue and gums. See this review, and this quote from the abstract sums it up:
>The teeth and gums are extremely susceptible to any hormonal changes that take place just before menopause and readily decrease body’s ability to fight off minor infections or maintain a healthy balance of useful and harmful bacteria within the oral environment.
I found that changing the bacteria changed my breath issues and made my gums healthier. You chew them after brushing, I do it before bed, fresher breath in the morning and over longer time periods it's really helpful with gum health!
I switched to Secret Clinical Strength last year because the odor under my arms was atrocious. I had used Degree for 25 years and then it just seemed to stop working no matter how often I bathed and used deodorant. I haven’t had a “smelly” day since I switched.

I relate, friend. My gyno only wants to give me an IUD as well, and I'm pretty sure I need HRT. I am so sick and tired of doctors who don't understand and don't listen. I have a lot of your symptoms and have had them for many years. I highly recommend reading this book for lots of empathy and good advice/resources: https://www.amazon.ca/What-Fresh-Hell-This-Perimenopause/dp/0306874768 Someone in this subreddit mentioned it, and it's been super helpful to me. Just like this subreddit, reading it makes me feel less alone in this horrible struggle.
I bought a jade face roller which I keep in the freezer. Whip that out and rub down those temples and nerves.
What helped me tremendously was taking a homeopathic medicine, Calcarea Carbonica https://www.amazon.com/Boiron-Calcarea-Carbonica-Homeopathic-Medicine/dp/B005P0XWQY. After two weeks if taking it, my hot flashes and vaginal dryness are gone!! And they have been gone for about three weeks. I used to get hot flashes every hour. Read more about homeopathic medicine. I used different treatments over the years for different conditions and it really helped me.
I take a supplement that has reduced my hot flashes and eliminated my night sweats. I take one at AM/PM. Took about 4 days to kick in for me.
Hi. I’m sorry about your diagnosis. I am classed as having premature menopause because I became surgically menopausal at a young age. You may want to join r/poflife for those experiencing premature menopause.
There are a few things to keep in mind: menopause treatment is tailored to a woman who is 50-70 years old. 20 year olds should not be treated the same way. You need more estrogen at your age than an older woman does. Your body has higher needs. Also, the low amounts of estrogen in HRT are designed to keep your bones strong. But it usually takes a higher level of estrogen to treat many of the other effects of low estrogen, like brain fog, dry skin, and sexual health. There is zero chance—ZERO—that an otherwise healthy man who is castrated is denied testosterone to treat his sexual dysfunction. It’s medical misogyny to deny women enough testosterone and estrogen for that same purpose. You likely need a higher dose of estrogen than you’re on because right now it sounds like you have some vaginal atrophy. And you need to add testosterone to treat your sexual dysfunction. And you should likely be using an estrogen patch, so you need to switch if you are using oral estrogen, as oral estrogen can cause some sexual health complications.

I'm trying out some bamboo pantaloons today. Actually they're like long boyshorts so they take care of any thigh rub action. I was dying in my regular underwear and yoga pants that I wear every day so I put these on with some super loose pants and feeling pretty good.
I also endorse the Bambody when there is risk of leakage but find that they don't seem breathable. They absorb liquids but can still get damp and sweaty.
Ohhh - they are called "slip shorts!" I think these are the ones I got (or very similar).
I get Peony and Licorice from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ZH5SKQ?ref=nb_sb_ss_w_as-reorder-t1_ypp_rep_k0_1_10&amp&crid=3UZBG3R2KA8T&amp&sprefix=peony+and+
it's used for women with pcos who are trying to get pregnant. My functional medicine NP recommended it for me. I don't take as much (maybe 5 pills a day) but it's kept my testosterone in check. I did have my levels tested beforehand though so we knew my testosterone was on the higher side.
For bhrt, I'm on a combined estrogen/progesterone cream -- I use it 2x a day. You can buy it over the counter too. I used to use Emerita they make both) butthe prescribed one works better and is cheaper.

Psyllium husk powder mixed in water taken first thing in the morning on an empty stomach will get things moving. Drink plenty of water with it and throughout the day.

D-Mannose worked very well for my mother when she had a catheter for several months. Without it she would get get UTIs constantly. With the D-Mannose taken everyday long-term, they were reduced to one every few weeks.
Occasional UTIs will happen sometimes, despite our best efforts. I'm lucky to have only had a couple of UTIs in my life. I used Azo to diminish the pain and discomfort, and it worked really well, as it isn't always possible (where I live) to get in for antibiotics right away.
Testosterone should definitely help, otherwise consider seeing a pelvic floor therapist, and perhaps checking out the book Better Sex Through Mindfulness
Hi! I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Please join us over at r/POFlife. I also recommend that you read this book: https://www.amazon.com/Premature-Menopause-Book-change-Comes/dp/0380805413/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2Z4JRJJ2YCB3T&keywords=kathryn+petras+menopause&qid=1654025840&sprefix=kathryn+petras+menopaus%2Caps%2C111&sr=8-1
You definitely need to be taking HRT. Birth control pills are a good start and if they work for you, you might want to stay on them. However, I think there are better options out there. It's easiest to take birth control pills because they're readily available and the hormones are all bundled up, but HRT has certain key benefits over BCPs: more freedom to change types and dosages and how you take them; no risk of blood clots; no risk of stroke; no risk it will increase chances of high blood pressure; more options in terms of delivery systems; option to include testosterone, which is better able to treat your sexual side effects than a birth control pill. Also, birth control pills can lead to pain with sex for some women, though I'm not saying that will happen to you.
No reason they wouldn't, as long as it gets the powder into you - check the amount in each capsule, I use about 3 grams/day and this is from all I can find about the amount you want to shoot for.
Like these are 1000mg (which is 1 gram) per capsule, so taking 3 capsules a day would be doable.
I just get the powder because it was economical, if I were traveling for any amount of time and wanted to bring it, I'd grab the capsules myself.
It's this, a chemical that has anti-inflammatory properties and is usually marketed as a joint supplement and a lot of people swear by it for that, but it also seems to work well to retain hair in the follicle longer.
I've been loving this one lately: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XJ29X2R
Orgasms that you give yourself can (and are in my case) way superior to what 80%+ of men can give women. Men are just not that great at giving the best orgasms to women. You know your own body so much better than they will ever do!
Sjogren's is an autoimmune disorder that attacks the glands that make tears, Silvia, and vaginal moisture. Maybe you should get tested for this.
This https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004RSQGWC?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details is what I use at night (sleep). You don't have to get it on Amazon - it can be found at pharmacies. The whole Systane eye product line is good - the gel drops work during the daytime. My eye dr., prescribe Xiirda (medication for dry eye). One autoimmune like APLS, can also lead to others.
I can't help but wonder if autoimmune disorders also cause more clotting?
Melatonin doesn't work for me either, and I worry about taking (Zquil/Tylenol PM) because I read that Benadryl can be bad for the brain (history of dementia in the family). I have a CBD/CBG pill that is working now.
Agree about the males needing to experience the full symptoms. Women are not "bitches"; see how they would act/feel if they had this. My husband is doing the best he can. He is supportive but can't really do anything except give me space (which is hard since we are both working from home). But at the same time, I really don't want to be in the office feeling this way.
I really appreciate having women to talk to about this. My grandmother passed and my mother had a vasectomy in her late 30s (server bleeding and low uterus).
I’m so sorry. I recommend checking out r/poflife. And read this book: https://www.amazon.com/Premature-Menopause-Book-change-Comes/dp/0380805413/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=3HWGQR0OLV567&keywords=kathryn+petra+menopause&qid=1653276426&sprefix=kathryn+petraa+menopause%2Caps%2C117&sr=8-1
Her breast lump is almost certainly nothing, so it’s too bad that she can’t start HRT yet, but better safe than sorry. I went through surgical menopause at about your wife’s age. It’s very important to use HRT, and that’s the standard medical recommendation—it’s different than with women of normal menopausal age. One of the few good things about POF is that one’s risk of breast and ovarian cancer goes way down. So once she gets the all clear to use HRT, don’t let any warnings about HRT and breast cancer risk affect you—those stats don’t apply to someone with POF. When she starts HRT, I recommend adding testosterone to the mix. The best hormone book I’ve read is Screaming to Be Heard by Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet.
What is the dosage of the patch? What kind/method of progesterone? What's the estradiol cream for? How long have you been on them?
If you're just starting off, then there is always a period of adjustment as your body gets used to have a top up of hormones again, moreseo if you've been extremely deficient beforehand.
Some use Tegaderm bandage tape and put this over their patches to help keep them dry and in place. Adhesive quality also depends on the brand of patch, so you could see about switching to another brand.
I actually think they are called “managers”. Here’s the one I like
I found these smoothie pouches on Amazon so I could make my own smoothie treats. I've also tried diet soda in them (foamed too much), iced teas (good) and pureed fruit and juice (really good). There's a knack to filling them, you need containers to stand them up in for filling and freezing and a funnel.
