Also there is medical grade adhesive remover! We use it at the hospital for patients who are constantly getting dressing changes and get that grey/black sticky gunk build up.

>I don't know what that means and I dont think I wanna know lmfao
I think it's a reference to the TikTok Hype House that is located in Los Angeles, California, USA: https://www.kapwing.com/resources/tiktok-houses-list/#hype-house
This is actually a huge issue for a lot of people with a lot of conditions- wound care nurse recommends sensi-care sting free adhesive remover. You spray it on like hair spray and the adhesive disintegrates pretty instantly. It even makes removing type in very sensitive groin areas pain less.

Woah ok, there was me thinking it was a puppy pad for some reason. They look exactly like this.
I honestly thought they were the super cheap color tinted glasses from Amazon that don't actually filter light and just change the color of your vision
This is the best I’ve ever used: 51413499 - Sensi-Care Sting Free Adhesive Releaser Spray 1.7 oz. Aerosol Can https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RR5YMA0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_54DMP7EW3EMJE2D6CSH6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
This is probably blogging, but I feel the need to share. Doctors best 100% chelated magnesium tablets are the best. Specially formulated to not give you the runs. My son broke his arm back in August. He had to wear a cast for 5 weeks. To keep it dry during bath time we used this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007UONM5E/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_F92WDC8BH7VHFKTDD5JB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Im sure they sell it in adult size. I found this the day after he broke his arm, 30 seconds into amazon search.
If you can afford starbucks delivery you can shell out 30 bucks to shower comfortably if you really wanted to. Clearly she rather not bathe often 🤷🏻♀️
This is very expensive for something like this but to be fair I think symptom tracking is a good idea. Probably not for people who are hyper-aware of their health already, but I think rating levels like these objectively each day is a good way to look back and send trends over time.
I mean how many times have you gone to the doctor and they’re like “how have you been doing for the last few months” and you just... really have no idea, lol, ya know? And I don’t even have a chronic illness so I imagine accurately answering this question becomes even more important if you do.
I can definitely see how it could turn into another thing to obsess over though if you had a lot of obsessive thoughts about healthcare anyways.
That said you could do it free just in a notebook and there are also free apps for this kinda thing. I have a mindfulness journal that tracks a few things everyday (like I said - I don’t have a chronic illness, just because I try to practice mindfulness) like sleep, food, etc. It is nice having it all organized already for you if you aren’t good at that sorta thing/creative but mine was way cheaper. It’s this one actually and I didn’t get it from amazon, it was on sale somewhere else for like $12.
Anyway this is a lot of rambling to say: journals for normal people? Good! Journals for obsessive people? Might be problematic.
Sickened: The Memoir of a Munchausen by Proxy Childhood by Julie Gregory (author) and Marc Feldman (wrote the foreword). It's about Julie Gregory's experience with her mother insisting she was sick for all of her childhood, including at one point suggesting open heart surgery to "get to the bottom" of her illnesses.
So that particular book is [this one](Brain Games - Color by Number: Stress-Free Coloring (Green) https://www.amazon.com/dp/168022770X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_3B78WT391TCREGEV6MY3, but that’s i think the only mandala type of picture. I really like [this one](Color by Number Patterns: An Adult Coloring Book with Fun, Easy, and Relaxing Coloring Pages (Color by Number Coloring Books for Adults) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GFRZCHH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_RAVNYV476HPA3XNA6Z4Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 for color by number mandalas
edit: Well that’s a clusterfuck of formatting, but the links should work
I’m so very very confused by this set up, these people have money right? They seem very well off in pictures anyway. Why not get a bed wedge system off Amazon? This one even can come with a travel bag so you can presumably bring it with you.
Contour BackMax Foam Bed Wedge Pillow Support System (20 Inch, BackMax Only) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CA5AG2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_XXB18XYK3XED88HCQA76?psc=1
So LPT I have one of these down throws I travel with. They easily fit in a water bottle pocket of my backpack but it’s super lightweight so you could also just clip it to your bag. It’s awesome to lay down on the airport floor for long layovers and you can use it in its little shell as a neck pillow on the plane :).
Bit of a sidebar, but Lord Minimus, about Sir Jeffrey Hudson, is a really interesting book on the mid 1600s' treatment of people with dwarfism, Hudson being in the court of Queen Henrietta (wife of Charles I). He had a pretty action-packed life:
>He fought with the Royalists in the English Civil War and fled with the Queen to France but was expelled from her court when he killed a man in a duel. He was captured by Barbary pirates and spent 25 years as a slave in North Africa before being ransomed back to England.

65F apparently is the best temperature for sleeping, according to this book
Did you know she released about a memoir about her personal experiences with mental illness & the creation of DBT this year? I only got halfway through it before the semester got rough, but it was really interesting and she's brilliant. It's amazing that she's shown things like chronic suicidality and SH can be treated successfully in many cases after decades of being considered hopeless.

I read it after my husband made me watch Goodfellas. Henry Hill wrote his own book, but I didn’t read it.
So I was juuuuust getting the link to the Amazon ones I mentioned only to discover Yuyu has an Amazon storefront now! Hope you enjoy ☺️
(We shouldn't be afraid or embarrassed for talking about pelvic health, I know this is a snark site but its important to give good advice and help fellow snarkers)
You should! Its worth a try. Its improved my life so much. No longer have to worry about incontinence (from both holes 😬), constant excruciating pelvic pain or pain during the deed. I did end up needing surgery for prolapses but that wouldn't have fixed the incontinence and other symptoms. If youre looking for pain relief, you can get this "wand" that can put pressure on your pelvic floor trigger points and the website shows you how to do it. I have the Standard non vibrating/heating one. The site also has awesome dialators (if you need that), medical kegel balls and supplements. All were recommended by my PT. The wand is $30 but its an awesome investment. Ive used mine for around 3x a week for two years and it still in the same condition as when I got it (please wash this wand after every use!). You can also purchase it off amazon for the same price. I do recommend some lube with the wand, but any water based lube would do, you dont have to get the expensive lube from the company. I hope this can help. Theres very little information on stuff like this out there.

And yet, that orange plug cap at the end is a vent cap on a Farrell bag (and the white clip is also a Farrell bag clip) so I don't think showing that part was a better choice, it was probably worse. Confirmed everyone's suspicions. Here is just one example I found of a Farrell bag you can buy on Amazon. That orange valve thing is what's showing right at the end there. The clip on the bag I found is blue rather than white, but you get the idea.
Pretty sure she means something like one of the water bottle holder things you can install on a bike. like this. which seems like an actually useful thing to have on your wheelchair tbh
