There's an app. It uses the exact same sound data and mixes it in much the same way. You can even build multigens.
https://itunes.apple.com/be/app/mynoise/id813099896?mt=8 or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mynoise.mynoise&hl=en - I've only used the iOS version, myself.
A bizarre scenario that definitely doesn't sound legal from their part. If you browse through the noise gens, there's a few, for example:
https://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/audioJammerNoiseGenerator.php https://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/babbleNoiseGenerator.php
I haven't bought it myself yet, but the site's app FAQ makes it sound like they'd be included:
> People who purchased the "All You Can Hear" package [...] will enjoy the new generators as soon as they are published on the website!
The favorites are stored in your browser as a cookie. I'm using Safari and after some Safari update, I noticed that I started losing my faves once a month or every two months. Maybe the cookie expires or something, and it's a security measure built into the browser. Since I noticed that it was happening, I've taken a habit of storing my myNoise settings (includes faves) into the myNoise cloud once a month; More frequently if I add more faves during the month, and less frequently if I haven't added new faves recently. As I'm saving the current month's settings, I always keep one previous month's settings there, just in case anything goes wrong. When I'm ready to save a new month's settings again, I delete the oldest one so they don't pile up and I only ever have two sets there. The procedure is this:
If you lose your faves again, all you have to do is go to the Control Panel and load those settings from the Cloud Storage. Be ecological and only keep copies of settings that you actually need, and delete settings that you no longer use.
Hi Stéphane!
I absolutely love this feature since I often find super generators a little bit overwhelming to set up and for regular use, and because I use magic gens a lot. This new feature helps me immensely to customize magic gens I like.
However, a quick test generator I put together doesn't seem to load for me (stuck at 70% both in newest Chrome and Firefox). I also tried switching between the CDNs. I don't know if it loads for anyone else or if made a mistake, maybe you can check it out:
Thanks! I will definitely be increasing my monthly contribution!
Every generator has a background image related to the noise it makes. Some are pretty easy to parse, some are completely abstract.
I'm pretty sure the one you're linking to is "heavy rain on a gloomy day" given that it's a rain noise generator.
How about something a bit more fantastical?
And here's my image: http://i.imgur.com/xPHzFjc.jpg
Contains Anchored, A Bird's Paradise, Rainforest, Call of the Andes and Sad Minstrel
Honestly, I feel relaxed in this supergen. But I've heard comments from my friends that some parts put them on edge, so I decided to tag it red in case it flips some other MyNoise users out there. Hope you'll enjoy it! :)
My personal version is this, which is louder for better immersion (some sliders start at max level, but will eventually randomize). I feel that this gives the full dynamic range of sliders as I originally intended. If you want to use this, please turn down your system volume before loading it.
Ah, that. It only shows up on noises that can be calibrated to your particular ears and speakers; I'm not sure if it's a static image that's the same for everyone or something based on your own calibration curve...
I decided to play against type and didn't use Northern Lights.
It can still be either your laptop's processing power or your internet connection not being able to download as fast as it needs to. You can try the speedtest. Note that with WiFi, you always lose a notable amount of the true potential speed, whereas by using an ethernet cable, you get fully or almost fully what you're actually paying for your internet service.
>This lack of functionality isn't acceptable.
myNoise.net is basically the work of one guy*, not a team of developers or a company with deep pockets. I'll take a little "lack of functionality" in return for access to some amazing sound generators, most of which are available for free.
If you find the lack of functionality unacceptable, I'm sure you're willing to code, test, and implement that yourself for free, right? Or maybe donate enough money for a full-time web developer...
*So, there is only one person behind this website? Yes, indeed, with a little help from myNoise friends. Keeping the site alive and growing takes a lot of time and resources! Your donations help me to assign part of my professional time to the development of this website.
What do you think of this? Not sure how you feel about repetitive noises like clocks, but for some reason a steadily ticking clock and a fire put me right to sleep.

So here is my actual one, i would normaly also play Poltergeist Rumble and Impact too but the superGen only allowed 5 items ^^
I had similar thoughts following my first submission, Rhodes Hands Prelude, in which the Flugelhorn on slider 9, 'Hands of Time 7', was too loud to start with, so I wanted to edit my submission, but found no way.
What you can do is what I did, which is reset them to where you want, then author a comment, which will capture the settings at the time of the comment, and allow the listener to reset them to what you now believe to be a more optimal setting.
Unfortunately, when I did that on the link above, I called the Flugelhorn a Sax in the comment and then discovered there was also no means of editing the now erroneous comment... but the settings are better anyway... LOL
From slowest to fastest moving animation. The range of movement might be combined with the speed because there's no separate range setting in the app. However, I can't confirm that because I tend to use myNoise on a computer and the documentation page for the app doesn't explain them one by one. I think only Stephané knows!
I personally listen to it at a higher volume with noise-canceling headphones: link
Glad you like it! And it probably can't be found on the app because it's a composite generator using Dr Pigeon's instructions on how to create one; I wanted to make a stack like the Supergens, but couldn't find the link to be able to insert the URLs of each generator's unique slider positions. You can, however, find my custom generator, along with other contributions by other users, at this link: https://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/customsMadeByVisitors.php

If you go to the control panel saving things in the cloud is in beta. I haven't tried it yet but I was tripped up by the cookie saving when I had to change computers for work and suddenly all the blue stars were gone.
Adding to the recommended mynoise sounds, this Babble background noise is good for when you need to study but there is someone talking around you. You definitely want to calibrate this one with the sliders based on the troublesome voices you are hearing irl. I generally pair this with some other noises or repetitive music.
My favorite for studying is classic cafe noise. If you want to change it up, I also really like African Town. It's a lot different then the white noise/aural scan combo, but I have to work in a louder environment and this does wonders for screening out noisy landscapers and neighbor kids banging around upstairs. If you need more noise-cancelling type soundscape, try the background chatter ones turned down enough that you can still hear your lecture.
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I like it, but it isn't the noise I remember growing up around.
I used the same dishwasher composite (thank you ChorizoYumYum), but I added a mechanical hum noise at a higher tape speed, which adds the warm ambient tone that the composite was missing. This, to me, hits the mark.
I use noise jammer as it blocks out a broad spectrum of sound and I've found it to be the most useful of the noise blockers, but I'm not sure if it would work on heavy bass because bass just penetrates everything and gets everywhere :(

I swear the Flying Fortress sound knocked my kid out in seconds...and he liked it LOUD.

Glad you're enjoying it. Hmm. I don't think there is a different way to make a personalized "favorites" list. I also just use a MyNoise folder in my browser's bookmarks.
Also, here is another one of my favorites. Radio on the Beach . I made it a few years ago, so it may not be tuned as well, but I still like the combo.
We used this for our son played over the phone. I took some of the treble out of the bells because it was a bit shrill. Set it for an hour timer and made sure it wasn't too loud overall.
My roommate sometimes has "company" over. I have found the Fireplace Noise generator set to Speech Blocker works great combined with the magic of the Sleep With Me Podcast. No, i'm not paid to say this is amazing. The podcast at a low volume with the fireplace noise melts away pretty much anything else I might hear in the adjacent rooms.
I did try, but it requires the right lake, ice depth and quiet environment. I only managed to use a small pond. Recordings have been used here : Polar Expedition
I'm personally very happy with "On The Deck" which I made a few weeks ago. I've been using it to get to sleep pretty much every night.
The combination is great, but because SuperGenerators cannot cope with synchronicity between generators, you better program a single custom/composite generator, out of the best stems. Like this :

Here's a related one I've been enjoying that I'd cooked up myself back when Now Loading was just released: https://mynoise.net/superGenerator.php?g1=modularDroneGenerator.php%3Fc%3D1%26l%3D37413229433344264333%26a%3D1%26am%3D1%26m%3D%26d%3D0&g2=loadingScreenSoundscapeGenerator.php%3Fc%3D1%26l%3D36462939403442423733%26a%3D1%26am%3D1%26m%3D%26d%3D0&a...
https://mynoise.net/superGenMaker.php It's below the Atmosphere noises and says
>Multi Gens

>Up to five generators in one sleek window. Program your own ℗ Stack or ℗ Sequence. Check out the Masterlist.

Here's a quieter night version of the above personal version for deep nights, sans the annoying birds flapping around you and the incessant high-pitched bugs that could cause fatigue for some.
I love this one. I sort of took what you did and modified it a bit to make it sound more populated but still calm and sleepy. Kind of reminds me of the taverns in Skyrim!
another version with the new sound, In The Sky by Enlia, for a more "ethereal" atmosphere:
