This took me a few days to figure out.
If you are talking about this area then that would be a sidewalk on campus. The circle would be two bridges that go over the canal you are talking about. The hut you talking about is actually the canal opening up into a circle that has a fountain the middle of it.
It's right outside of Cole Hall which is where the shooting took place several years ago.

I thought 360 was a really good class that covers many different topics in applied math. The papers did take me a lot of time to write, but as far as 20 pages typing math and adding plots helps fill pages fast. There are also home works and test on the material. I had already taken Linear algebra and Dif Q which helped with the breadth of the class, and others who had not struggled a little at times.
Take it with Professor Mincheva if she is the professor in one of the sections I thought she did a fantastic job.
I agree with DeathhandGlittter on professor Stevens he is a mess and also said During a math 420 lecture that he did not like applied math, so I would avoid him for 360 and maybe for 420.
my last bit of advice learn Latex if do not already know it and use https://www.overleaf.com to type your papers.
If you have any other question feel free to ask me any time
Ive got a couple more questions for you... I have a Mac! Am i screwed? https://developer.apple.com/xcode/ Is that just the writing part for the codes or a console to run the code? Is there a free console program that can run the code if the above cannot? Just wanted to mess around with C++ to see if I can get familiar with it
