I reported this back on June 29 but it still hasn't been fixed:

To their credit though, this may be related to a UE4 bug/quirk. Redout is also UE4 and has similar issues. Either use SteamVR, or, if you want to force the Oculus Runtime, uninstall SteamVR and use the SteamVR launch option.
Your fighting stick should work, is it PS3/4 (D-Input)? NRA only supports X-Input so you need to use use x360ce x64 in the directory \NewRetroArcade\Binaries\Win64
I do this with my Venom
I actually investigated the possibility of whether or not PlayStation would boot inside of NRA:N. Turns out it totally will! Sadly, it's completely borked for some reason. You can read more about it here via this Trello card. I even captured some footage of it working:

As for Dreamcast, I doubt it due to it requiring a rendering API of some sort. The reason Mednafen works in this case is because it is all done via software rendering. I might have to bug Dec some more to look into Mednafen and see whats up. :P
Wow!
I was eventually going to try and throw together a simple UI using AutoIT. That is a million times sexier already, then anything I was going to do.
As far as I know, the only ROMs that saved data were the SNES roms. They would take a save state and load it up when you booted the console. Having said that, a Trello card has since been created for this issue: https://trello.com/c/ONYMII8y/56-mame-nvram-folder
Never tried playlists, but I've made some 'mixtapes' for my arcade. You could use Audacity http://www.audacityteam.org/ to combine tracks and output it as a single .mp3 file, or if you're feeling a bit more fancy you could use Mixx http://www.mixxx.org/
The original intention is for Pinball in VR, however with a few extra buttons added this would work perfectly for New Retro Arcade. Especially so if Pinball machine were incorporated. The comments of the original link go into the best way to wire for an Arcade/Pinball version.
