I bought these to replace it, since it was pretty cost prohibitive with shipping and exchange to Canada. These work perfect
3 Pack Non-slip Thick Foldable... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B08KPXYXZF?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I got a pack of stuff off Amazon that included a bacon/toast holder, a rack with notches to hold skewers, a small cake pan, mini muffin pan and some other assorted stuff. I haven't used any of it. The big and small rack that came with it have been useful for pretty much everything.
Two cool accessories I do use: a steam release diverter to prevent steam from going straight up into the above cabinets and a holder that attaches to the handle to hold the pressure cooker lid.
What have you made in it so far? It's an awesome machine.
Damn my bad! I erased the link in my first draft and forgot to add it.
It was awhile ago so I couldn’t find my exact order but these look like the same ones I bought:
Once the lid is on securely, the switch should be set all the way to the left. It doesn't lock in or have a notch is fits into.... but I think once the pressure builds up, it holds it in place.
The silver inset button to the right of it is also a pressure release. It can be pressed down to let steam out much more quickly..... use the end of a knife or something to avoid getting burnt. If you start the machine and hear pressure escaping too much, take a glance at the silver button too. A couple times, I've seen it pushed down too far and it gets a bit stuck. If you see that, just use something to wiggle it a bit so it pops all the way up.
When releasing pressure once it's done, I use one of these to direct the steam away (so it doesn't hit the cabinets above too... I have little counter space). It works great and cleans up well. There are some novelty ones available on Amazon too.
I just use silicon mitts that go over your fingers and thumbs

So you're intending to use the element in the Foodi to heat the cast iron? That's an interesting idea. I just tried it using a glass bowl and the element does heat up by just depressing the button in the middle. I'd originally though there might be some sensor higher up along the edge that would maybe detect if the pot was in place, but I guess that's not the case. I had a few cast iron things that I thought might work, but neither did. One is like a little sauce pot, but the handle is too long, and the other is almost like a mini casserole dish, but it's just too wide with the handles to fit flush on the bottom. You'd definitely need the right size pan for this, otherwise you'd be wasting a lot of heat doing it.
In just poking around Amazon I found this plate, which might do the job. It's 8.75" wide which I believe the bottom of the ceramic bowl is very close to this dimension, so without the bowl I think it would fit nicely.
I don't believe there is a way. I believe it's just associated with cooks. I will say that with Prime Day, if you have Amazon Prime, I just bought an instant read thermometer Monday for $9.99 and it arrived yesterday. It would be great if the included thermometer had more functionality though.
This is the one I got. It has gone back up slightly.
Justin Warner's cookbook is my Foodi Bible. Tons of great recipes and EXTREMELY useful charts in the back. I cannot recommend it enough. Here's an Amazon link if you're interested: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0593136012/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_P6Y7YM7G4J8X1Z4EPJR9
Just saw your post now. I do cheesecakes quite often (popular request from my boys). I use this pan from Amazon (I'm in Canada) and the trivet that comes with the Foodi, but I use this sling. Botton crust stays solid. I like the glass bottom that easily handles sharp knives well and nothing sticks to it.
