NordVPN is a really easy to use service for VPN. Like user said before, TOR is a specific browser which allows you to browse the TOR network, or dark web.
You can use the TOR browser without a VPN service, but I don't recommend it.
It's not implying anything.
It straight out said that solar street lights might work.
What does "7kV"? have to do with anything?
Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

I bought this Eccotemp tankless water heater for $119 and free shipping, 6 years ago. It has worked perfectly ever since.
Oh and, I'm not completely off the grid. I still have water.
But our electricity use has dropped. Being on Montserrat help's. But off the grid has different definitions. Have you touched your own version of off the grid, or very energy efficient ?
Kiwix has been available to do just that for a while, and not only Android/iOS but also Desktop and Raspberry Pi.
It's also fully open-source (feel free to donate your $9 though).
Do you have any plans how to reduce Dirtty Electricity in your setup? I am using this decent looking battery with an inventor and it's electricity is so dirty that would be afraid of plugging a computer into it. I tried two samples and both of them were pretty bad...https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0791Y1WSQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Checked out your posts. Looks like your an early 30s off the grid lady who is trying to stop drinking. I'm an early 30s new to the off the grid life man who is trying to stop drinking. I'm about 3 months af myself. Well if you like philosophy, walking as a form exercise, and conversations so long that by the end you realize there was a theme to the whole evening, I am totally interested in applying. I've attached a picture of me and a few buddy's of mine. me and my friends
The pressure tank is just a tank with a rubber diaphragm in the middle, and the air side of the diaphragm is pressurized to get you in about the pressure range of normal use. They come in any imaginable size.
The reason for using one is to keep your pump from constantly cycling off and on during a slow draw or worse, a leak. Startup is hard on the motor, and if you're on an inverter, it's very hard on the inverter - an inductive load can draw anywhere from 3x to 7x its rated amperage during startup. So, the idea with a little pressure tank is to cut the number of pump startups down by 5-10x during a slow draw - otherwise, since water really doesn't compress, the back pressure that the pump fills until the pressure switch turns off is basically just pipe expansion, which is near zero, so if it pumps 2gpm and you use 0.5gpm, it may turn on and off constantly.
Just a thought for you. Here's an example of a tiny one. And here's an even tinier one made by the same people who make your pump, although that's getting pretty dang small at that point.
Also, since we're on /r/OffGrid and you have a 12v system, I was assuming that you're using a DC-coupled solar power system or something that starts out as 12v and gets inverted. If not, then I agree, it'd be a lot more convenient to just use AC. I was impressed last spring, though, when I went looking for various 12v pumps, what an incredible variety of them there is in terms of flow rate and pressure - it seemed like more selection than 110v pumps, but maybe that was just because I was mainly looking for 12v ones.
Partly yes, I use different sized mesh to filter out particles, but if it would be easier to buy them, there are a few for sale on Amazon.
Cool, thanks. I eventually decided on one of these, which is working great so far to power my internet devices. The rice cooker will happen in the future when I get more solar and storage capacity. So the inverter is considerably more than I need for the moment of course but after being disappointed by a cheaper smaller model from a local store I decided I'd just get a single item that will work into the future. The only possible issue with it -- and this is my fault because I didn't pay attention, particularly to the 6th and final image on the listing -- is that it is enormous. I'd watched an unboxing video in a review further down and simply assumed a) that the styling had changed and b) that what I would receive would fit in the palm of my hand, or at least both hands. I now realize that video was simply for another product entirely. No matter, I'll figure out a way to permanently install this and my increasing array of electrical system components.
