(Sorry for writing so much)
Excuse the long title, but I just wanted to say how quickly I liked this sub right when I saw it.
I've put ~a year into running this game with breaks in between. Finally got the sub 18 I was looking for.
In case anyone's wondering why some cutscenes move faster than in the normal DosBox version is because instead of using the pre-packaged DosBox installation, I am using a Windows 98 Virtual Machine. This version is faster in multiple areas.
There's been in total 1 other runner for this game, 3 years ago.
Here's a link to his 2nd best time (Because it has commentary) He runs on the dosbox version.
Anyways I hope you enjoy the run.
Just got here and I'm already a huge fan of the subreddit. :)
Or if they just want the ROM, this is a very good site for pre-patched ROMs for disc-based systems:
ePSXe is ancient so personally I'd use Mednafen standalone or the Beetle PSX core (based on Mednafen) in RetroArch.
That sucks to hear. I've never had that problem, so I can't think of a way to fix it, other than to try different resolutions, or maybe try running the program as administrator.
Also, if you're using the latest version (2.0.5) of ePSXe, you could try using an older version like 1.9.25. Here's the download page with the older versions.
Hello! All Things Must Be Equal is readily available from Amazon Japan, they'll ship it to the US too which is cool.
As for Equal, it's more difficult because you'll have to find someone reselling it. I don't have a lot of experience with this but Japanese sites like Yahoo Auctions will probably be better for finding a good deal. Good luck :)
