The Swiss Alps? I'm thinking the Euro Train, so I googled Euro Train from Paris to Swiss Alps, and was offered this website: https://www.thetrainline.com/via/europe/paris-to-switzerland
It's been my experience that whenever I get to Paris, I don't want to go anywhere else, lol. Have a great time!
Thanks... I don't have experience with this but started pursuing a proxy approach. I was concerned that there were a lot of fishy proxy providers out there, and I didn't want to spend for this one-time use. It looks like AirVPN charges.
Don't know if this helps Amazon link
phone leash - get something like this, and attach the end of the lanyard to yourself - either a crossbody bag or a beltloop.
And I will add, if you or your travel partner uses a curling iron or straightener, I’ve had more luck just buying an inexpensive dual voltage one versus trying to use a converter and adapter setup. Ive still blown my curling iron out even with a converter. I bought this cheap, $15 dual voltage curling iron for European travels and have gotten so much use out of it:

When a kid traveling in Europe, France and Switzerland especially, -early 60's. Bidets were de rigueur. As I always wore sandals, in the evening my parents would wash my feet in the bidet.
Last year I installed this bidet on our toilet. My wife, after using it said she'd marry me all over again.

TP use goes down, your bits are sparkling clean. Install one of these and you will never go back.
Now back in France again. I don't see many which is distressing. There is no better way to wash your ass. Using paper is medieval. Americans seem to be afraid of them. But if you like being really clean, (see what I did there?) Gete one of these at your house......

I suggest you download the RATP app to your phone. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fabernovel.ratp&hl=en&gl=US&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dratp+app
It will tell you how to get to your destination via the nearest transportation sites (gare/bus) from where you are and the times the buses or trains are leaving. I find it an Indispensable app.
I used a regular bagallinni but it had an interior pocket that gave me the ability to hook my fone leash to via carbiner. this is the fone leash https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074XW58HB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
plus, you have the added protection of not dropping the phone!
I think the train would be cheaper than the plane but you'd rather check it. I have been in Paris for several times so there's some tips for you: 1.take metro rather than taxi, they are cheaper 2.be attentive to your purse as there are many pickpockets 3. take a museum pass to visit some of the museums for free For more of these, read my article on the following blog: https://tripplannera.com/blog/paris-tips-facts-secret-things/ You can find some really useful tips.

In the mid 20s so shorts and t-shirts but bring jeans and something cosy cause the evening will feel colder!
