Oh. I used to post to r/poetry a bit. But I've stopped since no one really reads them. Here's a link if you'd like to read them.
The reason I’m contacting you is because my publisher has challenged me to sell one hundred books by the end of the month. It’s on Amazon’s Best Sellers list, but keeping it there is not an easy task. Can you help? I think you'll like it. It's raw, and funny, and sad, and authentic. There's some lovey-dovey stuff, and some manly stuff, whiskey, trumpet players and poems about my marriage to a suicidal addict. The book ends on a hopeful note, with a poem called "What May Come Will Come"
What May Come, Will Come
Lie down here and carelessly wait for the sound of marching happiness.
In a field of wayward waiting, soaked in sugar, laughter, and musk,
lie down here and rest with these seraphic, blooming clouds.
Wait… with me, as cherubs do and listen to the sound of thunder rolling in.
I hope you’ll take a look, and leave a review. It would be much appreciated.
