I'm also really hanging out for any info here. We've got six 8800 with Visual Plus rooms that work really well for voice and video in Skype4B. We want to move to Teams as an organisation, but can't find any info anywhere on whether the Visual+ will ever support Teams video.
I've considered signing up for the Teams TAP here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=v4j5cvGGr0GRqy180BHbR1UzUQTEgHVPtD9W5uih2OlUMEwwUzhJSktIMUw2SDJJOE5FT1lTVzVTSS4u But I'm unclear on whether that includes the pre-release Teams software build for stuff like the 8800 or is just related to the Teams desktop client.
I generally quite like my Trio setup and we've finally got everyone used to PPCIP for in-room content sharing. I just really need to know if I should keep hanging on or be planning to buy a bunch of new Teams Room Systems or Surface Hubs.
FWIW, I found a driver that device manager liked that's Polycom and not Microsoft. The gain slider is still at 100% in Sound Devices but a very brief before/after seems like the gain is higher with this driver. I'll test with Zoom and Join.Me when I get a chance.
Device manager now:
Polycom Communicator
Polycom Inc.

7.0.6000.5
I’m not sure why the photo on CDW’s site doesn’t show it, but the one on this Amazon listing for the same part shows it includes a male-to-female Ethernet cable with a socket to plug in the jack from the power supply.
