Congrats on snagging some VIP tickets. I haven’t done a Primus VIP yet - but have them for the Columbus show. I’ve done a few CID events in the past though and usually you’ll get an email anywhere from 3-7 days before the show with instructions. For meet and greets they’ll ask you to show up 2-2.5 hours before show time and give you a location to meet - usually at the front of the venue.
For straight up early admission you’ll usually get in an hour before everyone else but since there is a Q&A you may get in earlier.
Tubes are up to the band/merch people. I’ve gotten posters at my last 4 Primus shows and there have always been tubes but I’ve been to shows for other bands on back to back dates where there have been tubes available at one show and not the next. If you’re worried always bring your own just in case. Most of the time you’ll be able to go out to your car but sometimes you can’t - either the venue won’t allow reentry or your host won’t be available to coax them in to letting you back in. If you’re only worried about the poster you can get a reusable plastic tube with a strap that you’d be able to wear on your back during the show. This is probably the best bet and they’re not too expensive. This one is heavy duty and only 18 bucks on Amazon[1].
Enjoy the show and the VIP. In my experience it’s always been more than worth the price if you love the band.

Would've added it before, but didn't bother to go through the trouble of making an anonymous account. And I know I said I could convert it to other services, but I don't feel like setting up accounts for google and apple (lol); however, you can use this free website:
To easily convert the playlist and any other playlists to both of those service, it's a really handy little tool. Let me know if you need help and rock on man!
Amazon still has brand new copies: https://www.amazon.com/Primus-Animals-Should-Like-People/dp/B0000CEB6B/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1508295468&sr=8-2&keywords=primus+dvd
Please believe me when I tell you it's money well spent. It's what made me a hardcore fan. I spent so much time watching this, even the layout is a work of art.
You can get the 10 Bands One Cause pink version of Frizzle Fry just about everywhere. I grabbed one for $15 on Amazon.
This isn't the pink one, but here you go... https://www.amazon.com/Primus-Frizzle-Fry-Vinyl-LP/dp/B00X0AB38U/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1540980118&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=frizzle+fry&psc=1

(Right) In Numbers https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019ON05NK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fJ-NBbSYF6E7W
In Numbers sounds just like the Youtube Video, so not that great of quality but comes on white / clear vinyl. Also the cover is gatefold and the overall quality is very nice
Live in California is the same deal with the songs, but the tracks are out of order; black vinyl. Cover is nothing special and features low res images. Avoid this one
I can't find a link to any of the actual music, but check out No Forcefield. The band is Ler, Brain and Adam Gates (Bob C. Cock). I have no idea what it sounds like, but I'm sure it's interesting.
Also, Ler and Brain had a Frank Zappa cover band called Caca, but I don't think they ever recorded anything.
I can't speak for anyone else, but to me all of Primus' albums from Frizzle Fry through Brown sound like a band that was just doing their own thing, creatively speaking -- driven by their own instincts as musicians, creating something new and unique each time. Antipop was the first time they sounded like they were deliberately trying to give their audience something familiar. It was the first time it sounded like they were concerned about audience reception at all.
It was written/recorded at a weird time for Primus. The Brown Album (one of my favourites) had come out a couple of years before. It was grimy and low-fi and weird, and it wasn't very well received. On top of that, the band was simply running out of creative steam (they talk about this in the book). They didn't know what they wanted with the album, or what their audience wanted. And IMO that comes through in the songs.
Also, the song "Antipop" makes me cringe. A song about how anti-mainstream you are is dumb enough, but then they made it the title track of their most pandering, slickly produced album. Worst Primus song ever.
