I already tried out a plethora of games, mostly puzzle / RPG hybrids, however the one that got me hooked is a shooter / RPG called Hero Hunters. I blew a load of dollars into it day 1 so I got myself a flying start with several high-end characters unlocked, including the super rare 7* sniper Prophet.

The game has the best graphics I've seen on a phone game. You basically do single player missions, collect loot, equipment, character fragments, unlock new characters, maintain your team, levelling stuff up, trying out new teams. The gameplay is a cover / shooter in 3rd person. While you don't have to move your character around (the only movement you do is swipe left / right to change cover and swipe down to duck) you definitely need to aim well and fast and be smart with the special skills! There are tanks, healers, all-rounders, damage-dealers. All in awesome design.

The game is multiplayer heavy as well: we not only have some great PVP arenas and events, there's also co-op raids where you team up with an alliance member or a stranger. And oh, alliance events are important where you and your alliance members fight together to reach good rewards. The PVP is real-time without much lag (without any lag). If one team disconnects for one or another reason the AI takes over to control the team.

Hooked. Really hooked. My to-do list in the game grows all the time.

The downside to the game is ENERGY SYSTEM. Once you've depleted your energy you basically will have to wait or pay for it to recharge. However it is being more generous than most other energy-based game out there, and my girlfriend definitely thinks I'm spending way too many hours each day playing the game.
