Happy birthday /u/dojikko with the adorbs username!
Also, for those in the area, King Spa Groupons are up! I just snagged two for me and my husband~
Yes it is! It's this one specifically. They have Groupons all the time! Here's one that is good until November 15th!
I use the Shiseido Tsubaki Extra Moist and absolutely love it. I'm currently growing my hair out and this makes it so soft and smooth, I can't stop touching it.
This conditioner is sold and shipped by Amazon directly, should be good. I got my last refill on ABEX, but this is where I'd order from normally. There's a mayuko shop selling the shampoo via Prime right now, I've bought from them before. Doesn't look like they have the refills right now, just the pumps.
I actually decided to give these a try because of a camellia oil sheet mask I tried and loved, it makes my skin so soft and plump. I figured if it's good for my face, I might as well try it on my hair!
I posted this in the thread about lip stains earlier, but I'm looking for an AB lip color. Which had some great suggestions btw. My lips are typically on the dry side and even if I use a sugar scrub and use a moisturizing lip balm I have a problem with lipsticks going on smoothly.
I was just wondering if anyone tried the Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar specifically the #4 Milk Bluring. I'm trying to see if it's worth the price. I've seen a lot of good swatches but it's hard to tell how the application is.
So I did some research for you :P I found what it seems to be the only AB oil cleanser without polyethylene but it is pretty pricey :/.
I've got a recommendation for AHA: Mizon 8% AHA serum. Using it currently, and have been enjoying it! https://www.amazon.com/MIZON-AHA-8-Peeling-Serum/dp/B00F35GT0W/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487988187&sr=8-1&keywords=mizon+aha
My Amazing Repair & Shine Secret! In stores, this was about $15, whereas Olaplex was $60. :( It seems to be a better deal if you buy the larger bottle, though you only really need a pea sized amount for every dye session.
Hmm, yea the freelance thing does sound like fun since you get to do so many different things. It also seems like a good way to do different things and not just do the same thing day in and day out.
Thanks for the moisture suggestions!!! I just looked up The Saem Fruits Punch sleeping mask and got so excited that it's peach scented! Effectively retains moisture and smells like peaches, what could be better?
The class that I 'cracked the prof's code' in is Art Historical Methods. The readings are using really dense and theoretical, but I really enjoy that stuff. But each week I also have a mini mental crisis about art history as a discipline. This week we went over style, so my mental crisis was over the way that our very notion of group style emerges from, and is defined by, our Western experience, and that other, different concepts of style may exist cross-culturally but have not been examined. I've basically come to the conclusion that all by writing will be intrinsically subjective and biased and I just have to acknowledge that and roll with it. ;-;
Matcha definitely is an obsession.....I haven't tried the Meiji chocolate kisses with matcha, but that sounds so so so so good!!!
Here's a link to the Meiji oreo-esque cookies: https://www.amazon.com/Meiji-Matcha-Biscuits-6pieces-Japan/dp/B00HN8HP0K
And here's a link to the Dars matcha chocolates: https://www.amazon.com/MORINAGA-Dars-Matcha-Chocolate-12pcs/dp/B00PN0CJW4
I've also read a bit about how matcha powder does great things for skin and you can make a homemade face mask out of it, but I have yet to try it out. I really should because I think I would love feeling a green tea monster.
Oh wonderful! I'm so glad it worked out well for you! 45 minutes is awesome, especially if you weren't using a silicone mask cover! I love it when sheet masks have a lot of essence because I'll decant the extra into a small container, then use a compressed dry sheet mask (Amazon link, not an affiliate link) to mask again with the extra essence.
Peach Sake Pore Serum! Can't say it does anything for my pores, but it makes my skin feel incredibly soft.
They're a popular Korean brand called DARKNESS. Available on Amazon here
I bought mine from China on eBay, though the brand and packaging is Japanese. The brand is Butterfly, and this is the box. I just picked the first Amazon listing of the same package.
Recently I did a mask by a US company, Miss Spa. I bought them on Ulta.com and they worked well, too. Not quite as amazing results, but the second round usually isn't as good as the first.
There are some cute ones here.
Is that this little bitty one? I've been meaning to try it! But out of curiosity, how often do you have to repurchase? 30 mL just seems so small!
Ok, these snail suction cups are SO CUTE! They are meant to be toothbrush holders, but I would rather put something more fun inside - maybe a cool way to hide teeny surprise gifts and stick them where the recipient is sure to see? Or coins for yourself for emergencies in a car or locker or whatnot?
It used to be my BB cream but honestly, and this is surprising, I have a surplus stock of Lioele's Petit Bon Bon Gloss in First Kiss because even if I have literally zero time to do anything to my face, I can toss this on and I look like I'm just rockin' the natural look lol
It also works well with all of my lipstick shades and is not sticky at all.
It's an LED night light, more specifically this little dude on Amazon! ≧ω≦
I've yet to find my holy grail face mask, but so far my favorite has to be the Etude House Collagen Moistful sheet mask. It was nice and lovely and hydrogel, which seems to stay on WAY better than cotton or paper or whatever!
It's the first layer in several steps, and I find it sinks in really nicely after about 30 seconds to a minute! I discovered it through a little sample set--of which I've gotten twice, lucky me! It looks like Ebay has a few?
Though honestly even on Amazon it's not horribly expensive and it lasts a good while! Two pumps usually does the trick!
I have a set of these:
Airless Pump Bottle Silver Matte 1 oz 6 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ED5HD08/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_Me1YvbA4HJ13B
They really are worth it! I even ended up putting my Returning Starfish Cream in them because it just seems much more sanitary versus having a container with a big opening. :-)
I don't have oily skin, but my two girl friends (who are new to AB so they're just dipping their toes in) swear by The Face Shop Natural Sun Eco Sebum Control Moisture Sun SPF 40 PA+++. It's 10 less than SPF 50 but they're both pasty-pale girls like me and none of us have been burned this year!
Ooh well the one in my picture is just one pen because it has a super comfy gel grip. These are the multi-pens. You can put different refills in them and some can be like 3 different colored pens and one pencil..all-in-one~
Hi there and welcome! I'd be happy to offer a few suggestions. The first thing that comes to mind are these miracle babies from MISSHA. I just had my period break-out and these little spots saw me through without my stressing out over them! They are magical, I swear!
I also have been amazed by Mizon's snail products when it comes to scarring. I always swipe my hands over my arms with left-over product when I'm done applying on my face and some cat scratch scars that are nearly a year old are beginning to fade!
Wah, I just noticed that! I've seen the visors that are entirely see-through but this is much cuter :)
