CLEVELAND -- A former Cleveland Browns employee and a ticket agency owner pleaded guilty for a scam in which seats that should have gone to fans on a waiting list instead went to the broker.

John Tironi, 32, who was fired as the football team's ticket manager, and Mark Klang, 29, owner of Amazing Tickets in suburban Beachwood, each pleaded guilty to a single conspiracy count in U.S. District Court on Thursday.

Their plea agreements were filed with the court on Friday. Each could face five years in prison at their sentencing Nov. 15.

The two plotted to divert personal seat licenses and tickets to Klang in exchange for $5,000 a month, prosecutors said. Prosecutors say between 2002 and 2003 the scheme netted more than $194,000.

I suggest listening to the TrueHoop podcast today instead of this show. If any of you are familiar True Hoop, Ethan Stauss does a character called Radio Ethan that is basically a parody of every sports talk show host ever (Rizz, Rome, etc.) Its fantastic.
