Some one clued me into this when I still used the Topps SW Card Trader app. If you're on Android (not sure if it's on iOS), install the Google Opinion Rewards app. It lets you take surveys for Google Play credit, which you can then use to purchase Chromium.
I probably get 1-2 surveys per week, and surveys pay out between 10 and 50 cents depending on the survey. It's not the fastest way to get credit, but hey, it's free. I had about $5.75 in credit saved up when the deal went live.
I tried sideloading at the google play store, but that's only the initial application, so I headed here: https://apkpure.com/star-wars%E2%84%A2-uprising/com.kabam.swat
They have the full application with the additional 600+mb "OBB" file to get the app up and running.
I downloaded the xapk on my PC, then opened with win rar to unpack the files. I loaded it all on a USB drive, then followed the instructions here to move the OBB file to the correct place: http://apk-dl.com/star-wars-uprising (It's at the bottom labeled "How to Install the OBB File (APK Expansion File")
The original reason for doing this is because uprising kills my battery and makes my iphone 5S really hot. Getting uprising up and running will (hopefully) allow me to log into my kabam account and pick up my save from the iphone. I thought the play style would convert over to a controller well, and other kabam apps are compatible with the shield.... however they don't seem to be interested in getting uprising working on anything other than tablets/phones. Hopefully someone out there can help!
