Bro the rack was a pain to modify and fit on the front fender. I was inspired by another SUPER73 youtuber/redditor here’s his vid. His bikes aesthetics are amazing. https://youtu.be/7UwCWyOOLPU . You’re pretty much bending some metal to fit in between the wide ass tires of the SUPER73. Mine still rubs on the tire from time to time.
Middrive is a Bafang bbshd 120mm Middrive from Lunacycles. This upgrade, you’re pretty much learning to build a ebike, so approach only if you’re handy. It’s not too bad with all the YouTube tutorials. You’ll Have to Dremel off a piece of the bottom bracket that protrudes up In order to fit the motor. And any 48v/52v battery will do. The leds I got from amazon and was the first and easiest modification I ever did haha. It’s like 13$ and power with a usb powerbank. Anything more expensive they’re probably ripping you off. These detect sound/music too so it’s actually really cool. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07V4CY9GZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_TWXX13DQEGJXKTK6H1S4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Yup, follow u/8bitjer's link.
And get yourself a female 3pin higo connector on eBay
I used temporary dc plug adapters to test the connections, then just solder/crimp to the higo connector.
These are my top two most useful accessories I’ve bought. The tuffy liners are a must. I’ve ran over so much shit on the road and jagged rocks on trails that I thought I popped my tire a few times. So far so good though and I’ve got almost 700 miles on the tires. The alarm is great also since you can hear someone fucking with your bike from a small distance but make sure to get a good lock or two. I use a kryptonite chain mostly but I also have the onguard lock that the lock picking lawyer recommends. A gps tracker would also be smart but I haven’t gotten one yet.

As for helmets, there’s just too many to list. You’ll have to find what works for you.
Park Tool makes a great patch kit way less expensive than a brand new tube each time you get a flat, unless it's at the valve stem or a big gash.
I bought one of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B082DZ8QP1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Not exactly sure how it will fit up, but hopefully will be a good temporary option. There are a lot of similar types on Amazon.
Hey! I was thinking the same thing! I was leaning towards a half twist throttle and saw this on amazon! It looks like it has the same kind of 3 connector pin, but I was planning on grabbing one when my bike came to see it would work! Edit: forgot to put the link in lol

A Kryptonite or a similar heavy duty chain lock, and a healthy functioning brain. S73s attracts A LOT of attention, so be super aware of your surroundings and when you park it. Parking and locking it in a public parking garage? Doesn't mean it'll still be there when you come back. Park it on the street for more than a couple of hours? Good luck with that. Get insurance!
Also, get this motion sensor alarm. It won't stop anyone to take the bike, but it'll scream like a MF, and people in the area will be notified.

You should be able to find the dimensions in the product details. I’d give you the measurements but it’s currently folded up and in the closet.
I bought this one and the Schwinn Rascal trailer to compare but I liked this one better bc the color and wheels. They’re pretty similar in every aspect. This one is also cheaper.
If Amazon doesn’t tell you, let me know and I’d be happy to get the measurements for you.

I contacted super 73, they sent me a link for a 20 x 4 inner tube, but I found one on amazon that Is 20 x 4 1/4. I ordered that 4 1/4 inner tube as well as some tire liner to fill in the extra space (if needed).

I generally only park it at home in my apartment, or at work in a (locked) private parking garage. There I just lock it with a heavy duty chain-lock that weights about as much as two moons. Not really needed there, but I get a peace of mind while I work. I never leave the bike outside in public. Even when it's locked.
If I need to grab some groceries, beer or whatever when I'm out riding, I typically just drop by a local supermarket where I'm able - and allowed, to park it inside in front of the cashiers, so a thief would be really foolish to try to steal it at that point. I don't bother locking in the store, and I tend to leave my phone and sunglasses on the bike while I'm in the store, to test humanity, and humanity has never failed my test (thus far)
I'll have to add that I live in an area where crime is basically non-existent, and I'm not situated in a downtown area. If you are, get some Kryptonite locks:
https://www.kryptonitelock.com/en/home.html
Also, a motion sensor alarm is effective, and very cheap. I have this one, and it hasn't failed me once in the year I've had it. Just strap it underneath the seat for example, and whenever someone touches the bike it'll scream bloody murder like no tomorrow!
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Anti-Theft-Vibration-Motorcycle-Waterproof/dp/B0734QN8KR
It holds my bike lock, so when I am not riding and have it parked, the lock is being used... So I haven't bothered with a locking mechanism... I saw someone post about using a certain kind of gun safe as a lock box. I guess this one fits nicely on the RX.

functional for sure, pleasing to the eye? not so much. I like the grip turn signals better.
I live in Colorado Springs and ride to work there, and up in Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, Canon City, Denver and even down in Pueblo on weekends... all over! I have two of these molle bags from Amazon for saddlebags. I wish they were a little bigger, but they work okay. WYNEX Tactical Admin Molle Pouch I had to fashion a piece of bar aluminum from Home Depot across the back, under the seat and down the sides to support the bags and keep them from rubbing on the tire.
I have this one:

Just take the battery off and it’s solid.
It's pretty much plug and play. The screen is rechargeable which is awesome, just need to install the rear camera to the back which is simple. Then plug the cord from the camera to the screen. The box on the bottom is just a cheap ammo box from Amazon. I drilled two holes in it and mounted it to the frame with the extra screws that came with the bike. It holds my Abus lock, a bottle of sanitizer, and my dog's tennis ball... so everything I need :D
Worked out perfectly for my needs, as I think the frame bags all look weird and bulky.

No problem man. You can get any patch kit off Amazon(or bike shop). It’s really simple, it’s just like putting a bandaid on a tube. I usually keep a spare tube in a pouch, swap out when I get a flat, then just repair the tube when I get home. That tube then becomes my spare. Here’s the kit I use: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DZC32C8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_5Jz4Fb05DH1M9
But any kit will do the job

i dont trust any of the kryptonite stuff it al can be sawed - read the amazon reviews even on the legend (the weakness is the lock on that one - rather than the chain) -- i follow a guy on you tube that just picks and saws locks -- his recommendation is this setup -- also cheaper than a kyrpto -- 2 feet of this - hardened steel chain -- cannot be cut and this lock from Stanley -- and get a chain sleeve and you're set
I recently installed these. I like them a lot.

All the other mods were on the YouTube description below the video.
And you need a chain whip tool. You might need a chain breaker to get the 2 chains together at the right link count or buy the one suggested earlier by the person that did this install first and gave the parts list.
It’s one of those cheap light strips I bought for my tv. I’ve had it for several years and it still works great.

I know what you mean with the kryptonite locks sticking. I’ve only ever used the on guard u lock I mentioned besides the kryptonite chain locks. The on guard lock mechanism is so much smoother and easier to use than the kryptonite lock. Plus it comes with 4 spare keys which is nice. The only things I don’t like about the on guard (brute) lock is that it’s heavier than my chain and bulkier to carry around. Yeah you can attach it to the frame but it’s wide and the lock itself imo looks tacky on my bike. But if I need to really lock my bike down, I’ll definitely use the brute lock in combination with the chain and alarm.

As with everyone else I also to and waiting to head lamp for my super 73. In the interim I installed an Energizer headlamp light (minus the headband part) to the front of my bike with a zip tie where the light should actually go
You can use the two slots where the head lamp is supposed to go to wrap a zip tie around it and securely tie it to the front of the bike.
Light is actually super bright and easy to turn on with just a push of the button.
it takes 3 AAA batteries so shouldn't really be a bank buster in terms of keeping the road lit.

GL! I never really found a copper pedal set that I liked + that were in my price range (I’m “cheap”). So I made my own:

Spray Paint: Rust-Oleum 1937830 Metallic Spray, Each, Copper https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000I1AXVW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_tYkeFbWV3ACMK
Removed the all pins, taped up the bearings, spray painted 4-5 coats metallic copper + 3-4 coats of clear coat to make the finish more durable, let dry 24 hrs, installed pins back, and then installed the pedals.
Pedal Grip is 100x better and wider versus stock pedals. I’m happy how they turned out (esp. for the price point!)
Why didn't you just buy this DC-DC converter and hide it with the rest of the controllers. No need to worry about another battery

I saw a video where someone adjusted/twisted the electronics in the handle in a way where it’s not being crushed by the bike while upside down. Seems like the easiest Lo tech solution, but I also saw this on amazon and I love being fancy lol my only concern is our S73s might be too heavy for some of the cheaper bike racks like that one. These were the ones I got. Been great for all the rain over here.
Ive purchased countless different types of bike mirrors and honestly none of them have made me very happy until I got these! Not only do they function well, they look nice, and they have some weight with a premium feel to them unlike other mirrors I've owned in the past which is surprising considering the price I paid for these. (very budget friendly imo)
Link to the mirrors:
I did this, I connected a 2nd OEM stock battery to my ZX. I bought a used 2nd mount plate. and an extension cable to the controller (https://www.amazon.com/Higo-Electric-Bicycle-Connector-Extension/dp/B09Y1LZSV7)
*Note I'm not an electrician but an avid hobbyist with electrical needs & DIY budget*
Cut the end off the 2nd mounting plate, then I spliced the extension cable (without severing the inner cables) very carefully soldered& heat shrinked the red & Black power cables and used plastic heat shrink on the 3 smaller yellow Blue& Green wires, (too small to solder). I was very particular when making these connections to be Strong & Tight because the joint may stressed and it needs to hold permanently.
I can charge both batteries with 1 charger on the bike. My range is doubled and I can maintain 28mph for a longer time.
I rode around on my ZX way too long squealing everywhere. Properly bedded or not the stock ones aren't worth the hassle. Pop them off and get some "hydraulic" ones for $40. Here is a link on amazon. There is also a decent video on it on youtube.
i had the same type of issue, i had ordered an extractor kit on amazon but i ended up fixing it before i had the chance to try the kit. I used a small little saw that can saw through metal, a handsaw worked fine for me but using a dremel or an electric saw would work fine as well. I cut a little slit in the head of the bolt/screw and just took it out using a regular flat head screwdriver. If you wanna try the extractor kit method though, i ordered these: https://www.amazon.nl/-/en/gp/product/B097C8V9JD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have this on my RX - works totally fine with an iPhone 14 Pro, can't speak to larger phones but it expands quite a bit more so I think it'd be fine.
You just turn the silver knob a few times and the phone is free, not as quick as the magnetic case system but I didn't want to change my case just for the mount. Works well enough for me when I do Uber Eats on the weekends, want to skip a song, use GPS, etc.
Search moped surf rack on Amazon. This is the rack I used on my S1 and it worked perfectly when mounted to the rear S1 factory rack

Well you have have to get an adapter so to speak for the larger rotor which I recommend at 204mm. Stock Might be 160 mm or 180mm and for the weight of the bike plus my custom crap and 225 lbs stopping from 30 mpg it’s too small. The rotor will heat up and won’t stop or warp. Get the red colored brake pad upgrade too.

Mine are too strong and will stop in a dime and flip me over the handlebars if I don’t apply the rear first then the front.
I keep this with me on my bike and reapply every few weeks. It works decently even if it does make a small mess during application.

I used these from Amazon. They can go between a water bottle cage and the frame for better concealment but I just mounted them on the back of the back tube. Sorry I for got it’s not a direct plug and play. You remove the original and wire in the yellow connector and it works just like it. Works with the brake handles. Super bright. Easy.
I have a R and a RX I’ve got about 500 miles on each over the last 6 months
And nope . I’ve watched several folks stop and check them out , but once you see the rotor lock, I think everybody understands you don’t wanna even touch the bike

No way you’re dismantling the bike without setting these off . And if you smash it , you render the bike useless (especially if you lock the hub motor rotor)
Do you have a link to the 1up rack you recommend? I saw they have a couple. Do they have a ramp or something? This is the rack I had to return because I couldn't lift the bike high enough:
Most people change out the rear sping to a 350lb spring. The stock spring is 500lbs which is stiff. Being so stiff make it seam "Floaty". A softer spring will give you the smoother ride and take the bumps better.
Even though the picture say 400lbs this is to purchase the 350 lb one.
this is exactly right if you are going to be using leds in the rear and anything like a LED motorcycle headlight in the front.

as an alternative if you do not care so much about looks I have used this light with a similar external pack like the one you listed. Please note this one comes with its own battery and its plenty bright. I just went with the Talentcell packs because I wanted to run a bigger light. But here is the link for an alternative.

TalentCell Rechargeable 12V is the standard for the kits that they put out for lights. Most light kits are 12volt so you need that voltage to run the light. Mah is the amount of power stored to run time. You want something like this or bigger in the mah range.
Have you looked at deez nutz? For a little over $10 you can buy a bunch of sizes. Something will fit most likely. Or you can ask the guys. They are usually pretty helpful.
rad thank you!
any other must have accessories? i got these awesome side mirrors that attach at the end of the bars and fold in check them out Mirrors
I got this, it can go many places on the frame, I have it on the back of vertical post near the rear wheel. It looks like its part of the bike.

I don't think the throttle type matters in the US, at least where I live. I've tried a bunch of throttles. This is one of the better feeling ones. Plug and Play. Anything else you don't know about bicycles is available on YouTube as well as here.
Once again I use this one, may be a little pricey, but it's great!

Bummer! I hope it is not a regular issue for me going forward but we shall see, I picked these up on Amazon, hope they help!
