Yes you absolutely should start immediately. Your goal is to get your periods consistent and with ovulation. This takes time hence why people try to conceive for months. Your situation sounds insanely similar to me. Also lean PCOS also was on spiro. I also wasn’t ovulating but got a monthly period. I used to pride myself on the fact that I never got cramps. Little did I know that’s a bad sign. As per my reproductive endocrinologist’s advice (he’s a leading expert in the field of PCOS) I limited myself to 110g of carbs and finally felt ovulation pain around mid cycle, cramping and breast tenderness. Also my skin is finally clear. This is the brand I take: Myo-Inositol & D-Chiro Inositol Blend | 30-Day Supply | Most Beneficial 40:1 Ratio | Hormonal Balance & Healthy Ovarian Function Support for Women | Vitamin B8 | Made in USA (120 Capsules) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HX2DMY8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_a3UcGbV4GSQNN
Sure. The hospital gave it to my husband after his double cubital tunnel surgeries for his arms, but you can buy cotton stockinette online. Example
The author of It Starts with the Egg talks about this issue. I recommend the book.
I started using myo-inostal about 2 weeks now and Def feel the difference, time will tell...
I also drink spearmint tea and raspberry leaf lea maybe every other day.
Pretty sure I ovulated this week, but will know more after a full month.
I also have elevated testosterone.
The lifestyle changes you’re making are tremendous in their own! That’s fantastic, and no easy feat (speaking as a hardcore sugar addict, 25g a day is so impressive) I hope you’re very very proud of yourself 😇
I see that you have no medical support at the moment, I’ve been there and it’s awful. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone..
That being said; I hope I’m not overstepping any boundaries, but have you ever researched progesterone cream? I’m by no means a professional or mean to give you any medical advice - but many women use them for TTC and PCOS, they can potentially help regulate your period and they’re pretty cost effective. A bottle usually runs at about $20 on Amazon. I bought one for myself but I was very forgetful and inconsistent with it so I can’t speak to its effectiveness. It might be something worth looking into :)
This is the one I purchased.
I’m on metformin and take prenatal and inositol. I take both forms and found them on amazon. Myo-Inositol Powder | 18 Ounces... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JZNBP92?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
D-Chiro-Inositol | 90 Veggie... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N232VFS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I will admit I’m terrible at taking the inositol and prenatal so I can’t say anything to side effects but I read tons of reviews as well as published medical articles regarding inositol before I decided to take it.
I don’t believe I do because I’m 206 lbs (I was 232) but my androgens haven’t been testing high.I’ve had PCOS since puberty and I have hirsutism (even with not high androgen levels) and lack of periods . I don’t have any cysts. So my obgyn said I have insulin resistance . But I don’t think I qualify for lean PCOS .here is the insitol I take
I liked using these because the lines would get darker to show a peak and the app helped me interpret what level it was. Before, with a different brand, I was just getting a light second line and didn’t know how to interpret them.

I just recieved berberine today, 1st time taking it. But I also take the probiotics/prebiotics and a multivitamin. I just want to make sure they dont interact in a bad way
This one has really helped me. I've been TTC 4 years with no luck, extremely irregular cycles. Used this for just two months and I've had 4 cycles this year already and definitely ovulated last cycle which is a huge improvement!

Oh no! I highly recommend stocking up on the cheap tests. I go for this brand and Amazon delivers quick! Pregmate 50 Ovulation and 20 Pregnancy Test Strips Predictor Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FYDNC0M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_499KZJT6YBZ5NY3YH5A7
I don’t know if this is helpful, but my wife and I are using the Calm relaxation & meditation app. The basic version is free and the premium version is currently free for one year if you’re an American Express cardholder: https://www.calm.com/americanexpress. Don’t forget to cancel it though.
u/Educational-Shirt726 u/brookiepooh213 u/nachtmere My doctor originally told me to just boil regular cinnamon and ginger together to make a tea and make it my main beverage throughout the day, but I couldn't stomach the taste so I found a cinnamon supplement instead. I take this one, the dose is 2 500-mg capsules (1,000mg daily) so I just do one in the morning and one at night. They're literally just ground cinnamon in capsules. I let my doctor know that's what I was doing and she was totally fine with it (it beats my original plan of just dousing all my food in cinnamon lol!). Be prepared for cinnamon burps occasionally.
I don’t think it’s anything special. I take a boat load of supplements every month. Keeps me ovulating and bleeding regularly. I spend money where I think it makes sense.
The thing they have gotten the most press for is the Myo/d-chiro ratio of 40:1.
I take the one from Zazee that has both kinds of inositols and vitex.
I also take their calcium d-glucarate and DIM.
Actually, I have. I've been taking this one for about a month. I know it can take some time to work, so I'm kind of waiting it out.
I’ve read a lot of people drinking spearmint tea and/or taking spearmint capsules for acne. I’m not sure if it’s ok for TTC, I’d ask a doctor.
I’ve never had acne (except for IVF-induced hormonal disruption acne). I have very sensitive skin, and the oil keeps my skin from drying out. A lot of people over-dry their skin with acne products, which increases oil production in the skin.
I use Palmer’s oil wash to remove makeup and wash my face.

I've ordered it from Amazon (this one). It's pretty expensive but I've ordered it twice (including once in the last week) and both times it has arrived after two days when I select the most expensive shipping option (expedited... something or another). The total cost is $100 and the tablets seem to be working well for me 🤷🏻♀️I strongly suspect that the bottles are located here - otherwise, how are they getting to me so quickly??
What about this?
Tbh I’m also not great at temping..
Have you heard of the arm-band thermometers? I’m really considering getting one cus my charts are always very sporadic too.
Like this one. I can’t really justify spending $160 on a thermometer right now but I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a dupe.
Anyway! I’m sorry you’re not feeling great 😔 take care of yourself ✨
Completely agree with this. I’m also about to turn 30. I’m not sure if you’ve stopped the pill yet or not. You’re going to want to do that first. What I’ve been told is it’s suggested you’re pill free for 3 months so your body ride itself if the hormones. Get yourself an RE or fertility specialist. I would also recommend picking up a copy of this book and start taking prenatal vitamins. Also try to eat as healthy as possible and exercise during this time.

I mostly liked the Easy@Home OPKs, although a couple of boxes I got there were a handful of sticks that didn't work - a lesson in saving your pee until you know your stick worked (Amazon did refund me for the boxes that had the bad sticks).
I've actually had the most luck with the Pregmate brand on Amazon, not one bad stick in the bunch - they seem to clearly show the test vs control line for me, and they're nice and wide so easy to read (I do use the Premom app from Easy@Home to read and log my tests).
If you haven't checked on r/TFABLinePorn yet, there should be some good info already there/it's a good community to ask :)
I saw this one recommended a bunch of times somewhere (could have been here or maybe FB). I bought it a month ago and love it so far. It has no taste even in water. The one I tried before it (PCOsitol) gave me headaches.
I use Wholesome Story linkwhich I order from Amazon. I’m on my second bottle and like it so far
This one from Zazee is the bomb.
It’s got the correct ratio of myo inositol to d-chiro and it’s has vitex. Best bang for your buck.
But that brand also has all of those separately if you don’t want to combine.
Oh I don't use any particular one. There are wearables, but they're expensive and I was able to get into the habit of taking it every day. I can't find the one I bought, but it's similar to this. You mostly just want to make sure it goes to 100ths (98.00) and take it at the same time every day, right after you wake up. Don't get up, drink water, or do anything else before you take your temp.
The brand I used was Solaray. I used LH/ovulation strips - I bought tonnes for cheap on Amazon. They aren't super reliable when you have PCOS - I had one semi-positive on day 16 and another strong positive on day 20 during that cycle but it's nice to track your cycle. It feels like you have some kind of control :) Buy the cheap ones you can use in the morning and some kind of plastic cups you can pee in.
I like these cheapies from Amazon becuaee they are a little more sensitive than most, detecting HCG levels as low as 10 mIU/ml (pretty much the same as FRER tests) . Someone else on this sub showed them to me a while back. Thank you stranger!
Wondfo Pregnancy Test Strips Early Detection 25 Pack - Extra Sensitive HCG Urine Test Strip 10 MIU https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TXRF21X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_jtxmEb7SGS179
I've been using pregmate and the reviews say they work well. I haven't gotten a positive yet but I suspect it was due to mistimed tests on my part. One a day is not enough.
I use Fertility Friend to track everything. They have a section where you can upload pictures and compare them to see if the lines are getting darker or not. Ime, Fertility Friend will not give you cross hairs to indicate ovulation unless you're temping. I dont temp because my sleep pattern is highly irregular, so I just us fertility friend as a place to input all my symptoms so I can try to notice patterns on my own.
Hey ladies, I'm new to charting my temp and recently purchased a thermometer (https://www.amazon.ca/Mabis-Digital-Thermometer-Temperature-Planning/dp/B000O6YCZY this one) but it seems to take forever to get a reading? I'm so used to the almost immediate reading from ear thermometers we have at work, so maybe it is just me?
I started taking Jarrow Inositol which is myoinositol last spring. I was taking 4000mg daily either in the morning in a smoothie or in the evening dissolved in water. I got pregnant in August, I was good about taking it for the first several weeks but then got such severe morning sickness I stopped it and haven’t restarted it. We started trying in April 2016. I was also going through fertility treatments when I got pregnant, but I did feel better just with the addition of inositol.
Just FYI when you’re seeing the smile it’s not measuring estrogen....it’s high luteinizing hormone. Having PCOS means you can get multiple LH surges a month before you ovulate.
I’m not sure about the Clomid but you could always chart to back up what you’re seeing.
The Natural Cycles has been the only thing that has worked for me to confirm ovulation since I get multiple LH surges. It will guess when you’re ovulating leading up to it but it’s most helpful for confirming you did ovulate.
You could use it in conjunction with a ferning microscope. to give you a better idea.
I'm new to tracking BBT but just picked up iSnow-Med Basal Body Therm.
It has fairly good reviews, and I haven't had any issues yet.
