Hi there, you can multi-select and check the tasks with the keyboard shortcut "CMD + Enter" or "CTRL + Enter". This way you can complete and cross out multiple tasks at once.

Hi there, My Tasks now automatically include your own tasks with a due date. 🎉 (https://www.taskade.com/my-tasks) Essentially any tasks you add a due date to will be auto-assigned to you under My Tasks. Give it a try and let us know what you think!
Thanks for the suggestion! Are you asking for the Google Calendar integration event colors to match the workspace or subspace color? This might be possible. If you have a minute, please do request this over at https://www.taskade.com/feedback as well!
Great question, Taskade is much more task-driven and collaboration focused, with a unified workspace incorporating communication, collaboration, and coordination into one platform.
You can chat, video conference, and organize tasks, notes, projects in one interface. The other products listed are very different in comparison.
There are some more comparison and information available over at https://www.taskade.com/compare
Thanks for the suggestion /u/maux_zaikq we are working on bulk task assignment soon, please stay tuned.
Copy task(s) across projects is coming next and we will make an announcement on this once it is released.
If you have any other requests, or any details you want to share, welcome to contact us directly at https://www.taskade.com/contact
Hi /u/phinsxiii this video should help you understand Taskade's structure more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vujbh8BXsCo
Regarding "@" in a project, this only includes workspace members or subspace members. Each subspace is independent of the workspace. You can however invite everyone from a workspace into the subspace automatically by clicking on the "Invite All" button when creating a new subspace.
If you have further questions, do let us know at https://www.taskade.com/contact!

SMART goals are important because they help you to set focused goals with a clear direction and timeframe. By following the SMART framework, your team will be clearer about the deliverables and as a result be more productive. Here is a list of benefits that come with SMART goal-setting:
Helps you set specific and clear goals
Ensures that you set achievable goals
Allows you to track your progress
Helps you set useful goals
Gives you a deadline to work towards
In a nutshell, SMART goals help by ensuring that you don’t set vague and unrealistic goals for yourself. Using the SMART goal framework helps you to set specific goals that are related to the bigger picture within a certain timeframe.
To say that Getting Things Done® (GTD®) is popular would be an understatement. When Allen published his book Getting Things Done in 2001, he singlehandedly created the personal productivity space. Over 20 years later, GTD is still alive and kicking.
But that doesn’t mean it’s for everybody.
Many new GTD users look at Allen’s Next Actions and say: “Hey, aren’t those just like my crumpled to-dos but in a fancy marketing wrapping?” And we get it. After all, both to-dos and next actions are meant to be “completed,” so the endgame is pretty much the same, right?
Well, not really. As we’ve already explained, to-dos and next actions are two different animals. According to Allen, to-do lists lack context. They’re just shapeless blobs of mismatched tasks and reminders that lack priority, due dates, and enough details to be actionable.
Ambiguous actions/tasks like “send the report urgently” are not enough to warrant actionability. Who should you send it to? How are you supposed to send the report? What exactly does “urgently” mean? Which report should you send in the first place?
Getting those items out of your mind and onto a to-do list is relieving, but not for long. Simply because an incomplete system is not reliable. And if you can’t trust the system you’re using, you’re bound to fall back on old habits and continue storing tasks and ideas all over the place.

What is your internet connectivity like?
Taskade is heavily inspired by outliners like Emacs Org Mode, Workflowy, Dynalist and more recently RoamResearch and Obsidian. Learn about the history of outlining tools here.
Todoist is one of the original simple todo list apps that has evolved over time and made it out for over a decade. We dive deep into their history and how the product has evolved over the years. In many ways Taskade is inspired by Todoist, Wunderlist, with a modern touch around writing and editing. Read the full comparison here.

David Allen’s methodology is built on five pillars—capture, clarify, organize, reflect, engage— corresponding to steps in the workflow. You can think of the five pillars as powerful work habits you can improve and reflect on each time you repeat the GTD cycle.

Hi /u/Qazeevi please check again, we have improved the syncing and updating in My Tasks. It should be near real-time now! Let us know if you run into any other issues.
Not at the moment, some users prefer the Mac App Store version, others prefer the native version as it bypasses App Store. You will get auto-updates on the native version as well, and potentially a bit faster.

Hi /u/cpaulino
We do not support CSV Import yet, but it is possible in the future. Please add this requirement as a comment to https://www.taskade.com/feedback/integrations/p/feature-that-allows-to-import-csv-files
For now, you can import via Markdown or Trello. Learn more here: https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056121494
Hi /u/stardog2 great question! Taskade is pronounced together in one word, though it is a portmanteau, a blend and combination of the words task and cascade. Learn more on https://www.taskade.com/about
The proper pronunciation for Taskade is very similar to the popular DJ Kaskade. See here: https://www.google.com/search?q=how+to+pronounce+kaskade, simply replace 'K' with 'T'.
Hope this helps! :)
Yes! You can now select multiple tasks and assign yourself in the bottom toolbar. Follow our updates on https://www.taskade.com/blog/product-updates/
My Tasks also has been improved! All of your tasks with due dates will now show up automatically in My Tasks. Filter tasks created by you or tasks you assigned to others.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Thanks for the candid feedback. The two links below should help explain Taskade's philosophy and our project structure better. We did not build a traditional GTD Inbox but one that allows you the flexibility to organize tasks, notes, and thoughts in one platform. Hence not everything is considered a 'task' inside Taskade. For My Tasks to work properly, you would have to be either assigned the task, or created a due date on a task yourself. We are also open to additional suggestions around this!
Hi /u/torstenkoepke you can either assign a task to yourself OR simply add a due date to a task. In either case, the tasks will show up inside https://www.taskade.com/my-tasks!
Learn more here: https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360056482834--My-Tasks-Master-Agenda-
Thanks for the feedback. If you tried our platform / app itself, you will see little mention of our logo or mascot. Give it a shot over at https://www.taskade.com/new/
The mascot logo will be iterated on in the future, it is fun and simple, created by a friend of the founders that passed away a few years ago, and in many ways to keep this logo in his memory.
Hi u/bearbu11y.
Can you update to the latest version of our iOS & Android app, and see if this issue is still happening? If it is, please do take a minute to register and post this bug on www.taskade.com/feedback/bugs

Subspace color, it would be great if this feature could be added! To be honest I've already request this at https://www.taskade.com/feedback but I don't know if my feature request will be considered as I have not received a clear answer under my post :/
Hi /u/Cool-Swing2681 Yes, Taskade's free plan is free forever and you have most of the functionalities unlocked for free for both personal use and team collaboration.

Hi /u/pixel8dmess sorry for the late reply on this. We recently created a Security page on Taskade, and everything we have to offer, please take a look at https://www.taskade.com/security
Taskade takes security seriously and arguably better in some fronts when compared to Notion due to the nature of Taskade's Workspace > Subspace structure.
You can learn more about that here: https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360055670613--What-is-the-difference-between-a-Workspace-and-a-Subspace
Hi, your questions are very interesting.
1. There is no possibility of placing two reminders for the same task. I would create a task and create 2 on the level below, each with a timetable. Does it help you?
2. This is because recurrence is activated when a task is finished. When you close a task, another one is opened as configured in the recurrence.
I think these features are very interesting. Feel free to suggest these features at: https://www.taskade.com/feedback
Thanks for the detailed summary and review!
Simplicity is at the core of Taskade, and most of the collaboration features and workspaces are completely optional. Hope you had a chance to give Taskade a try again as we just launched a new update to the dashboard: https://www.taskade.com/blog/v4-layout-dnd-upload-highlight-colorss/
We just added option to Sort Tasks on the block level. Just simply click on the 3 dots more menu. We are adding this very soon on the project level. Learn more here: https://www.taskade.com/blog/move-tasks-bulk-assign-sort-sub-tasks/
Great point. We recently blogged about mindmapping in taskade here https://www.taskade.com/blog/semantic-trees-elon-musk-collaborative-mind-mapping/ and the importance of tree structured to-do lists, notes, for getting things done!
This is not yet possible, but columns in Action View are used for add-ons currently such as comments, due dates, and such. You can give it a try here: https://www.taskade.com/new/scrum?as=actionsheet
If you have any suggestions, you can also add them to https://feedback.taskade.com/
We have Board View available for immediate testing here: https://www.taskade.com/new/scrum?as=board
We are also adding a Kanban / Card View soon that is closer to Trello's kanban view. Stay tuned - and we should push updates out on this soon.
Download our desktop apps on https://www.taskade.com/downloads
Do you have notifications turned on? See https://www.taskade.com/settings/notifications
Otherwise, it is best to track them per project or using taskade.com/my-tasks for your own tasks, or "Tasks" tab on the Workspace level.
Hi /u/lmt0125 you should get an email with the project updates, edits, added tasks, and completed tasks. It won't be as real-time as the task completion message in chat, but we are working on that soon.
You can also check out our latest Project History / Project Activity feature by clicking on the top right corner of the project. Learn more here: https://www.taskade.com/blog/project-history-video-chat-comment-improvements/
Hi /u/virtual_daniel thanks for the suggestion for Taskade's recurring tasks functionality. I'll share this with the team! Do note we recently added "Custom Repeat Intervals" for the recurring task feature, give it a try and let us know what you think.
You can learn more about it here: https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052343674--Recurring-Tasks
You can also contact us with any questions at https://www.taskade.com/contact
Hi /u/watchpaw sorry for the late reply, and great question. We have added a "View All" button to the My Tasks and Workspace Tasks section, so you can see all tasks in each section now.
To organize task lists by project in a workspace, you can sort projects per workspace and we will add a feature to sort by Due Date soon to workspace level. The workspace roadmap will only display projects with due dates, not task level. Hope that answers your question.
If you have further questions, you can also contact us directly at https://www.taskade.com/contact for a faster response.
Hi there, you can take a look at https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015872614--Outlining-101-How-to-Write-an-Outline to get a better understanding of the structure of Taskade projects.
To add a description, simply hit enter and TAB to indent sub-tasks, notes, from there you can change the list formatting per level.
https://www.taskade.com/new/get-started is another good resource to try.
Hi, please follow the steps in https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360041880593--Calendar-Integrations
Calendar integration in Taskade right now is more of a calendar feed, so there is a bit of a delay. Recurring tasks may not be fully updated.
We are adding a real-time 2-way calendar syncing soon to Taskade for Google Calendar. Do stay tuned, it should be available in https://www.taskade.com/settings/integrations very soon.
We have two-way sync coming soon to Taskade. Stay tuned!

Thanks for the kind comment. Great suggestion, for now "custom templates" are per workspace or subspace. To use it cross-workspace, simply make a "Copy" of the template inside the workspace > templates tab. Hope that helps, it is a workaround for now.
You can follow our progress on https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lMxIfG
Thanks for the feedback and request, we will add it to our roadmap. For now I do encourage you to try and add sub-tasks as notes underneath each task. Simply hit enter + tab to indent. Learn more about outlining in Taskade here: https://help.taskade.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015872614--Outlining-101

Hi, Undo / Redo is not available on Web, Chrome/Firefox, and Mac/PC for Taskade. We will add Undo / Redo to the mobile apps soon, please stay tuned.
Thanks for the suggestion. Taskade's recurring task feature is coming soon. The task reminder will repeat after you check the task that is set to automatically recur/repeat. You can follow our progress on https://www.taskade.com/v/B1Q8lMxIfG as well.
