Beard is reading a sports psychology book (I guess?) after she comes on board:

Could be something or just his usual immersion into a topic.
I have one that looks the exact same, (same leg design and everything)

This is the one I have, its by EliteScreens. I think they're a pretty good brand, but I honestly don't know. I've had my screen for about 8 months and its worked well. The design is sleek so I can actually store it inside and it doesn't draw attention. I think this size is the picture might be the 135 inch or the 120 inch. I have the 120 inch and it is perfect, its big and you can see from super far back. But it isn't overly huge and hard to store.

Hope this helped...
Yes, shitty, mass-produced BBQ sauce. With high-fructose corn syrup. No self-respecting person from Kansas City would celebrate it.

I ordered a #6 Roy Kent “bantr” sponsored jersey from Amazon. There were several other players. I was torn between Kent and Obisanya. Its coming all the way from China. 🥺 I won’t get it until the end of the month of October. People are also saying the Halloween store have some, but probably not the size and player varieties on Amazon. In fact, I don’t think they had player names and numbers like Amazon.
Thanks for sharing recipe! Also: Look @ Frequently Bought Together
You should watch the old PBS Bill Moyer's interviews with Joseph Campbell on The Power of Myth, looks like it can be purchased on amazon.
Joseph Campbell's work on comparative religion, myth, and storytelling is very enlightening when talking about story themes.
This is similar.

This unofficial AFC Richmond shirt on Amazon is only £10 and you can pick the player name you like. Granted it’s only for cosplaying, but at least at that price you won’t feel ripped off. They also have the coach jackets.
I found it! Along with two more. Here's the one for "Be curious, not judgmental, with a dart in the center. The other is "Be a goldfish." Oh there is also one for offsides. Each one has a separate Amazon listing, so you can't see them all at once. Sold by BLEOUK, in case that helps anyone hunt these down.

I’d say these are really similar.
Not OP but I have one that came from Thecozyhood.com
It looks like their website doesn’t work anymore though 😒
I did find this on Amazon
I want to comment on the show title and Beard's book. "Inverting The Pyramid" is a book about the history of soccer tactics. I have read the damn thing. It's 464 pages of the densest history of how Hungary played in the 1950's, how soccer came to Argentina via English ex-pats in the 19th century, etc. There are comprehensive WWII histories that are less dense and lighter reads. Naming the episode after this book, all the Post-Its in Beard's copy of the book, and the cross-reference to John Wooden's Pyramid of Success are freaking amazing choices.
Among other things, Nate wants the top of Wooden's pyramid (Competitive Greatness) but exhibits very few of the building blocks.
The attention to detail in this show (best exhibited by the She's a Rainbow sequence when Roy returns to Nelson Road) is unbelievable.
Inverting the Pyramid is a well-regarded book about soccer tactics.
The Pyramid of Success is basketball coach John Wooden's approach to team building, well described below. Or above. In this post, anyway.
> I’m definitely good at keeping secrets, that’s just a lot of secrets for the rest of your life
Yep, that's the hard part! I'm not saying that if something happened 5 or 10 or 20 years ago and it's not relevant anymore or something like that, you can't talk about it with trusted friends or colleagues but at the time when the story is still fresh, you really shouldn't.
>how would you know for example that a source wasn’t made up by a journalist just to get a story out
That's a great question and this is why (investigative) journalists use at least two independent sources, and if there's an anon source they use other ways to prove their story is true, like documents. If the anon source gives you documents, you shouldn't believe at first that it's valid. What you have to do is to compare it to other documents, databases, find other sources etc. and also you can play the devil's advocate and find holes in the story until you can say, OK, that's solid. And the thing is: sometimes you can't just corroborate a story enough and even though it 99% true, you have to let it go. That can be infuriating.
If you're interested in the topic, I can highly recommend the book about the Panama Papers incident. It was written by two journalists and they not only tell a story about money laundering and corruption, but show the work process and how they dealt with an anon source.
This is a good book It’s called “How To Be Happy, Dammit! A cynics guide to spiritual happiness.” I hope I still have stashed away somewhere. It’s written as humor, but a lot of the quotations hit home for a lot of scenarios. Some even could be Ted Lassoisms. For example:
If you keep doing what you’re doing, you’ll keep getting what your getting.
Don’t go shopping for Kiwis in a show store.
It’s a really cute book to pick up and read when you’re in a mopey mood. I hope I can find my copy!
Ooh, now all you need is these:

Being a spurs fan I actually saw the original Ted Lasso shorts when they came out. I found him a little obnoxious because they only really played with the oblivious part of his character. It was a bit too cringey to watch.
However, TedLasso 2.0 is amazing - they added my favourite American element - the optimism. Optimism vs Cynicism is the classic US/UK divide. Combine that with making him a mensch really created a character I can't help but love. He's everything about the US that I like. If anything, I get a little too much snark in my diet here in Northern California. I like my Americans sweet like southern Ice Tea, haha!
Coach beard is a real masterpiece character. In one of his -first scenes- he's reading Inverting the Pyramid - one of the best books on the historical development of Football strategy and tactics. In fact he's always reading something pertinent to the game, which is what makes their little project believable. He's a quick study and is up to speed fast, you get that about him immediately. You also get a good sense of his professional respect for Ted, and the series wouldn't work without it.
Without Coach Beard, the whole plot is too dumb. With him, it's plausible (again, you can get somewhere in Football with frankly not the best tactical grasp of the game, although it's getting harder and harder to do so as the best foreign coaches enter the national game, like an inversion of the 'Mister' phenomenon (Mister: The Men Who Gave The World The Game)
They all came in a pack. 50 different stickers!

Well, there’s the link to Kansas City and their barbecue, but it’s also a link to the fact that there’s a barbecue sauce literally called “Bulls-Eye.” .
Is there a specific one? The one I remember it’s like, a cheapy plastic headband. Could probably get it at a dollar store. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Q9Z4IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WNJTDTTQ8D6QM84VQF98
No worries! It’s hard to visualize. I found two pictures that might help describe how the two sides combine. Hopefully that helps.
Both systems have similarities, but Stoicism is a philosophy, while Buddhism is a religion.
Ted is Stoic, while Beard is more stoic, lower case. Ted is full of Stoic virtue: he accepts life as it is, he knows that his reputation is not up to his control, he does his best to be a good man, he sees the good in his colleagues. In fact he doesn't even need to know about Stoicism at all to be Stoic.
As a good comparison you can start here and also read the art of happiness like recommended above: https://www.amazon.ca/Guide-Good-Life-Ancient-Stoic/dp/0195374614#reader_0195374614
You can buy the season for $19.99 on amazon.com.
Thanks, will check out that NVC book. Sounds like the polar opposite of the communication style my siblings and I were taught as children.
You might want to check out John Wooden's books. He was a legendary and venerated American college basketball coach. There is prominent placement in the show of Coach John Wooden's Pyramid of Success -- Coach Beard very carefully hangs a picture of the pyramid on the wall in the office he shares with Coach Lasso. His principles are meant to be guides to success in life as well as sport.
If you want to know what the man himself is reading, in the pilot episode, it's Jack Kerouac's The Dharma Bums.
Check out the scene on the plane -- if you freeze the frame, you can read the text on the page. Google a distinctive phrase, and that's what you get.
