For people who are trying to find an online stream, you may have some time before you miss anything truly unique.
Right now, the opening hour is called "U2 Mixtape" and its just been the Rattle & Hum version of Bullet the Blue Sky, I Will Follow, New Years Day (St. Francis Mix), Streets, One, The Blackout, Still Haven't Found.
At most there would be some "bumpers" in between every few songs where Edge and Bono say "Edge here, you're listing to U2 X Radio on Sirius" or "is anybody out there? Bono, making contact, on Sirius radio, from Dublin City."
Too bad they don't list a schedule to see when the new shows would air.
EDIT: I did find a schedule online. They're going to be doing the Mixtape for the first two hours. From 3pm Eastern until 5pm.
At 5pm, they will do "Bono Calling", it will last for a whole hour, apparently.
At 6pm the hour is called "U2-X Radio" it seems like its a placeholder description.
At 7pm, they will do "Close to the Edge" and that is Edge's talk show. One hour.
Another hour of "U2 X-Radio", and then at 9pm, it is "Guest DJs Play U2", no description on who the guests will be.
And then at 11pm Eastern, the show "Desire" will start, and its a show that is supposedly hosted "by the U2 audience themselves." Each episode, a different voice will take to the airwaves to tell their own U2 story and play their five favorite tracks.
Guest DJs will play again at 12am midnight ET, doesn't say whether or not its a repeat.
And then it lists "U2-X Radio" programming from 1am until 6am tomorrow. So just regular U2 songs playing all night long.
Schedule can be found here, select that you are playing Sirius from a Smartphone Device.

Well, if you really study it, you'll be like "what the heck is this weird looking castle" but the layout, font, and the color contrast are really nice.
It's the only album I have the Super Deluxe version of (unfortunately), and it looks sharp.
Assuming you've got a Windows PC, a DVD drive, and technical know-how:
Download and install DVD Decrypter. Inside the app, go to the Mode menu and make sure IFO is checked. Then go to Tools -> Settings, go to the IFO Mode tab, and change the File Splitting option to "By Chapter".
Now close the Settings dialog, insert your Zoo TV DVD, then go to the Stream Processing tab. Make sure that the "Enable Stream Processing" tab is checked, then uncheck all of the streams in the below list, except for the 2ch PCM stream near the top. Then navigate back to the Input tab and make sure that it has the 1 hr 57 minute long title selected (should have done this automatically).
Then click the big DVD -> Hard Drive icon to start ripping the audio tracks. Once they're done, you'll need to convert the ripped tracks to WAV format. You can do this using a program called BeSweet. Download and extract that zip file, then run the following command for each audio track (replace the paths with the actual location of your audio tracks):
besweet -core( -input "D:\U2_ZOO_TV\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_CHAPTER_01_1.VOB" -output "D:\U2_ZOO_TV\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_CHAPTER_01_1.wav" -2ch )
Repeat that command for each track (i.e. replace VTS_01_CHAPTER_01_1
with VTS_01_CHAPTER_02_1
, VTS_01_CHAPTER_03_1
, etc. Putting each command inside a single batch file can help speed things along.) When you're done, you should have a set of WAV files, ready to convert into whatever lossy/lossless format you'd like (MP3, AAC, FLAC etc.)
It's $20 on Amazon if you want it.
I recommend it.
This one.
Also available as part of the UF box set.

Amazon has it, or you can get it used for less on ebay.
This one is a good beginners table that will improve sound quality: https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT-LP60X-BK-Belt-Drive-Hi-Fidelity-Anti-Resonance/dp/B07N3XJ66N/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3J02FLHKVJMSL&keywords=turntable+audio+technica&qid=1656444962&sprefix=turntable+audio%2Caps%2C206&sr=8-3
This one is even better and it’s the one I use but you’ll need speakers and and a receiver. And it’s pricier, but so worth it. You definitely want one that has its own counter weight from the tonearm, one that lets you change out the stylus and one that doesn’t have its own built in speakers: https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-AT-LP120XUSB-Direct-Drive-Hi-Fidelity-Anti-Skate/dp/B07N3S4X3P/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?crid=3J02FLHKVJMSL&keywords=turntable+audio+technica&qid=1656444962&sprefix=turntable+audio%2Caps%2C206&sr=8-5
Yeah you can buy them at record stores! They usually look something like this, although some can look like chalkboard erasers

Just let your player spin and gently hold the brush on the record and the sweep it off for a few rotations and see if that helps. My copy of ATYCLB skipping a few times but I think it was just dust stuck in the grooves and now it plays perfectly. It's a good idea to do this with all your record before and after playing them (though I only ever do it beforehand because I'm lazy ahahah no issues so far!)
MP3 download is cheap on Amazon:

And about the same price on Apple Music.
Amazon has the clear edition up for preorder. $2.50 cheaper than the standard black for now. https://www.amazon.com/No-Line-Horizon-LP-Clear/dp/B07KZ995G6/ref=sr_1_5_twi_lp__1?s=music&ie=UTF8&qid=1547043362&sr=1-5&keywords=u2+no+line+on+the+horizon
Be back in a bit to see who's claiming this. If you don't think anything is free these days, you can buy me this vinyl in return so i don't have to import it:
But you don't have to by any means :)
