I usually leave them in at least overnight. I also use a cheap ultrasonic cleaner I got on Amazon along with 91% IPA (it's strong enough, no worries there).

The real trick is the brushes, you'll never get rid of the black ring half way up the nail without them.

Yeah it sounds like stuff is coming out of the little tube and running down the inside of the bamboo. The glass tube should be spotless let alone clogged with reclaim.

That being said, during the ISO shortage, I’ve had great success with “green piece” cleaner. Got it off amazon and it cleans stuff really well.

I actually got it from Vapexhale, but I think it was a limited run because it's been a while since I've seen it on the website. For an ultrasonic cleaner you can do something like this. I soak the nails and baskets in the ultrasonic cleaner filled with the highest concentration isopropal alcohol I can find. Usually soak them overnight or for a day, but it doesn't have to be that long, and I'll just turn on the ultrasonic cleaner here and there during that time.

Then when I'm ready I'll take them out, brush them off good to remove the remaining stains, soak in clean iso for a bit, dry off, and then finally burn them off in the vape with it set to the highest temp (in case it needs to be said, always be careful with iso around heat, otherwise you might lose some hair or go boom).

I’m on my second Ultrasonic cleaner. The first one I got for like $45 was made of plastic and broke after just two months. I got an all metal one last week and I’m pretty happy with it so far. It has a heater which makes the cleaning happen a bit faster.

I keep the tank full of just regular water. I put my nails and baskets in a ziplock with a little purple/orange degreaser and the put the sealed ziplock into the tank. Putting the cleaner directly in the tank works but it gets gross fast. Using the ziplock lets me use a smaller amount of cleaner too.
