That’s a Vespa p-series. This is what you need; https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLmZN6ewY34hgy1Mf3XPtBlNM4Pw39ZkHb.

I’m really interested in seeing how this goes so keep posting updates!
Awesome. Assuming it’s just a simple pop out the lock mechanism and insert the new one?
As for an example, I’m assuming like this should suffice? Looks pretty similar to the one I have now in my OEM trunk box.

Be sure to use good-quality 2-stroke oil too, not the stuff for chainsaws. I use [https://www.amazon.com/Maxima-27901-2-Stroke-Synthetic-Injector/dp/B0012TZ1WK/](this one from Maxima) and I like that you can get a little discount for buying more than one. If you bought it used, it might be a good idea to get two quarts of that oil and do an oil change. It's pretty easy, and I know from experience that previous owners sometimes use sub-par oil.
I got these... took awhile to get here, but so cheap and holding up great. That's the beauty of working on these Vespas. If you don't like something, you can swap it out without much regret or breaking the bank. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B097RY1VDY

$29 bucks, I've changed it on both my 06 LX150 and 07 LX150. You're going to have to cut off the left grip (unless you can somehow slide it off). Loosen the hex nut, loosen your rear wheel brake cable then unhook the cable from that brake lever (from underneath). Slide off the lever, install new lever, plug back brake sensor, re-insert brake cable, tighten hex bolt, re-install grip.
My original brake lever was normal right handed threads. The new OEM one has left handed threads, so you'll need a left threaded left mirror now (or an adapter).
Dunno what kind of Scoot you have. I have a large frame that has a build similar to a road bike. I bought a road bike cover from Amazon that was made for use while on the back of a vehicle, so it's thicker fabric. Like 50 bucks. Dunno if it'll fit yours, but it's lasted me 2 seasons and a cross-country trip!
I live in NYC and was constantly fighting jay walkers not paying attention. I installed one and it was a game changer as far as alerting people go. Well; not so much alerting; more like scaring the shit out of. I highly recommend it. I bought a mini nautilus and installing it was a total pain in the neck. Had to do some customization, fabricating and bending a steel bracket it could mount to under the front grill. I have a 300 though so I’m not sure if that’s the same size beneath the front grill as your model

I got one of these for Christmas. This makes checking and inflating tires so quick and easy. It stops at about a .5 lb of pressure above where you set it. I've double checked with a reliable pressure gauge and it's accurate.
Another approach would be to use epoxy putty.
Mix it together and mold a handle then attach it to what's left. After 24 hours you can unscrew the dipstick. It should be strong enough to hold and you could probably just keep using the dipstick you have with its new handle instead of replacing it.
You can use an EZ-out to do it. Just drill a small hole, get the right sized EZ-out, and just back it on out. There isn't much torque on it, so it shouldn't be too difficult.
Here's a link to a small set. You can probably find single extractor bits at your local hardware store, too. Just ask for an EZ-out bit, or a screw extractor bit or kit.

If anyone's looking for a good battery I highly recommend this one, which was the one stolen, as the best one I've ever owned and which I just purchased again. I have a 2010 LX 150.

I too have a 2011 Vespa LX 150 and I needed a battery. Walmart had one very similar but the CCA was only like 60. I bought one on Amazon and it was too big for compartment and come to find out Amazon does not accept returns on batteries. They did refund me and told me to recycle the battery. I could not find the model that was in the scoot (XT9-B) so after looking some more I came across another on Amazon that did work perfectly and it was a tiny bit smaller than the other battery which was not the original as I'm the 2ns owner.

Here's the link, I recommend it.
I did the color matched OEM top case on my new scooter and will never go back. Soooo convenient.
There are also those things that you push through the d-ring of the helmet and attach to the helmet holder posts. I grabbed a couple of these and bent them to form in a way that they didn't scratch the paint and still allowed the seat to close. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IUNO8LQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Thank you! It’s been a couple of days since I posted this. I am not sure if this comment will bee seen, but if anyone wants this t-shirt, I added it to Amazon for people to buy. Here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H959Q7G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_BtiMBbWH9XJC4
Cheers :)
I'll be the voice of opposition here. The helmet pictured is certainly better than no helmet at all.
That being said, I rode without a helmet from the day I was 16 (1980) and got my license (got my M1 the same day as my regular driver's license) until it became mandatory in 1992. I totaled two Vespas in that timeframe (first time, got hit by a drunk driver, second time a lady made a left turn in front of me), and was uninjured both times.
I don't like the way helmets restrict my peripheral vision, and restrict my hearing.
The helmet I now wear is the Bell Pit Boss half helmet.
It is DOT rated, and works well. Great peripheral vision, doesn't restrict hearing, has a very nice drop-down visor, and doesn't make my head sweat.
Ride with the gear you like, or you'll end up not wearing it, or avoiding riding altogether. Life is too short to worry about every single "what if."
Or not. Do what you like. I'll do the same.
