As someone who overcame severe depression and was on 200mg of Zoloft at one point in my life...you need to get professional help for yourself. First and foremost: take care of YOU. You won't be able to help dogs until you help yourself and you need to do it because YOU ARE WORTH THAT.
That doesn't mean quit Wag. That means prioritizing you so you can work as you get better (and work on yourself). The only thing that helped me was therapist who specialized in depression, anxiety, and PTSD (my issues). Here is a book that helped me (used in conjunction with therapy- it is somewhat of a workbook since it has exercises):

I would still walk dogs as I got help as it's good for you to make money to help support yourself and it's good to get outside and not lock yourself up indoors (makes your depression worse). The exercise and dogs will help. I would place that second to the therapy. Focus should be on that. It isn't hopeless. It feels hopeless because that's what depression does. If you have supportive family, reach out to them too.
FWIW, that lady is a bitch. Don't worry about her. She doesn't matter and she is probably miserable in her own life. I'm sensitive too, but just let it go and if it helps wish her to get hemorrhoids (I do this for fellow assholes I encounter..makes me feel better anyway lol)
Yeah it's been a bug with the Android app for ages unfortunately but there are a couple workarounds.
Firstly once you click the "Tap when arrived" button, the notes box appears in full and isn't cut off after 10 lines, so you can read the full instructions at that point.
The other workaround is a little more annoying, but it works - temporarily force the app into landscape orientation. The text boxes only show 10 lines of text, so if you rotate the app into landscape, each line can hold twice as much text so you can almost always see all the instructions that were cut off in portrait mode. I use this app which has a "force landscape" option.
My sister has this "grass" snuffle matt feeder maybe they mean that?
I use these: https://www.amazon.com/HEAD-Sensatec-Touchscreen-Digital-Running/dp/B01N9V33WJ?th=1&psc=1
You never have to take them off to use the app on your phone, and they’re thin enough that you can pick up poop with them on while still being warm. If it gets insanely cold, I have another giant pair of gloves that I put on over these, but I only find myself needing to do that in the tens and single digits.
Another neat trick I learned from walking all through last winter: if you buy a box of nitrile gloves (like the ones used for restaurants or cleaning or anything else), you can put those on under even relatively thin gloves and your hands will literally be sweating in freezing temps because they don’t breathe at all.
I bought this b/c I’d had a bad experience with a leash biter and I read that a chain link leash would discourage that (b/c biting a chain wasn’t like biting a leather or rope leash, which feel like dog toys) so I figured if I bought a chain extender I’d only have to buy one item

I just bought this fan for this exact reason. My face was sweating so much on walks that sweat was dripping into my eyes and I couldn’t see 😂 this looks ridiculous but it helps a ton and it’s hands free!
This is the stuff I like. It’s fantastic for knives, firearms, multitools, and of course, stuck locks. Downside? IT STINKS, AND THAT STINK NEVER COMES OUT OF FABRIC. Be very careful.

Ok glad to hear I'm not the only one! And I actually think I might have found a possible fix today if you want to try it.
I have some private clients and for them I track the walk using the MapMyWalk app, which never has any of the zig-zagging issues the Wag app does. Earlier today I was on a walk that was zig-zagging like crazy so my thought was that I'd turn on MapMyWalk and send a screenshot of that map to the owner so they'd have a more accurate map of at least half the walk...but it turns out that once I started tracking with MapMyWalk, the Wag GPS stopped zig-zagging.
My theory is that when MapMyWalk is active, it somehow turns off any battery-saving/optimization settings on the phone's GPS radio (something the Wag app doesn't do)...so if you start GPS tracking with MapMyWalk before starting the walk in the Wag app, the Wag app GPS won't zig-zag.
Try this if you can next time and report back if it works!
Just checked. Yep, amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DM1WPXQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I use Map My Walk for mapping walks for my non-Wag clients. It even has a "Dog Walk" option
As for tracking miles, Stride is the gold standard
