I've seen people build their boards over a magnetized dry erase white board so they can hang it on a wall if need be.
Sylvaneth Start Collecting is all you need... besides all the other hobby supplies. Godspeed.
You won't get a great warband out of it though, but it really depends on why you're playing. Are you more of a casual player who likes to play for fun? Then the start collecting box is fine.
Do you want to win and play a meta? Then you're going to be very disappointed.
The monsters and mercenaries supplement is what you want. It will have cards for alot of different monsters and scenario’s to use them. You also get the benefit of using mercenaries for warbands. Im sure if you look hard enough you could find a pdf online.
Found it if anyone is interested
Something like this, just get the height right. They are great. I have them for my armies. I glue in a metal sheet in the bottom of the smaller height ones and magnet my armies into them for transport. Stack nicely in the closet too.

Sure thing! I'll just link the center piece as you'll be able to see the corner options if you're interested.

I got my last pack on Amazon a few years ago. It was a dozen sheets for less than $20. I checked my order history and it doesn't go back that far I guess. Doing a search, I see they went up in price (damn inflation) but here is something that seems to be a decent going price, and says 'strong', but who knows until you try.
Found a great kvissle bag. It is a cooler, but it is near perfect size. Theres some room on the side to stuff a couple books if you want.
I know some people use the pet bag but it looks like it leaves a bunch of room behind it. Also the cooler should protect it from temperatures.
Major downfall would be the zipper goes along the bottom if you stand it upright (shelf wise).
I was considering airbrushes for a long time, but wasn't sure I'd like one and didn't want to spend a lot to try them out. But then I discovered that you can now purchase handheld airbrushes with a battery-powered air compressor for $60 and picked one up. It rules. It's either 15 or 27 psi (there's a small switch) and has a double action trigger (so air is controlled separately than the paint). The battery lasts at least an hour, is super quiet compared to an actual compressor (sounds like an electric razor) and the airbrush is apparently "good enough" for $65. I've only used it for priming and getting a base coat down so far, but it's powerful enough to do that and I really only wanted it to try out zenithal highlighting and be able to base coat large pieces like terrain quickly anyway.
I also picked up some airbrush cleaner, a cleaning pot, and a 6 color/24 oz pack of Stynylrez primers for about $140. Already had some airbrush thinner medium but couldn't hurt to get that too. Don't know what your budget is but that's already enough to cover years of priming and you can use the battery-powered compressor with higher quality airbrushes if you decide you like it enough to buy a brand-name airbrush.
It was a very good box that worth every euro spent on it, but now it's too expensive:

If you really like the spire tyrants id say you should get them. They’re only 42 bucks on amazon !
If the do come in the new starter set then youll have even more options for fielding your warband. A win win IMO
I think most likely the new set will contain the new Order warbands like the Khainite shadowstalkers and one more that hasn’t been announced. They’ll probably also switch the location from the 8-points to somewhere new.
I could also see a new starter set with the scions of the flame and the spire tyrants as well considering how new they are.
Several local stores still have the Warcry starter set in my city and you can find it on ebay and Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Games-Workshop-Age-Sigmar-Starter/dp/B07VFKL5QM The two starter warbands are not bad, and other ones are still out there if you look around.
I saw others post that the ability cards are close to 6" x 4.25"
While too large, Ultra Pro makes sleeves for photo sizes that will work. Some more rigid top loaders too.

Otherwise laminating is the way to go. Seems ridiculous that GW used a non standard size like this.
