"no salt" is a salt substitute that is indeed mostly potassium. It's for people who don't use salt on their food. I actually ended up getting mortin "salt substitute" Be careful with potassium because too much will give you heart problems. f/fasting has a great wiki on EXACTLY how much electrolytes you need, but I've settled on 300mg magnesium, 3g of potassium, and 3g of salt- a bit on the lower end since I'm small. I had to look up how much potassium to take because i was having blood pressure problems from not getting enough.
If you REALLY can't find the salt substitute, you should probably supplement with tablets, but maybe crush them up first- I think people are worried they'll stick to their stomach. I'll leave a link though I'm not sure if you have amazon or this product, but I hope it helps you understand a different item.
I buy electrolyte pills. No taste at all.
I’m using this one, it has all of what you need Fasting Salts: Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium. Pure Electrolyte Powder for Extended Fasting. Zero Additives: Free from All Fillers, Flavourings, Sugar, Sweeteners, Gluten. 400g. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07Z55FLJC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_4JGZT71YERW1K3Q6J6XC
That is not near enough! You need potassium and magnesium.
We do rolling 72's usually, but have gone far, far longer.
Here is a good example of a proper fasting salt.
Snake juice
1L water+ 1/4 tsp pink salt :1/2tsp bicarb:1/2 tsp KCl salt
Magnesium lotion
I'd watch it with the sweetener. Depending on the sweetener you use, it might raise your insulin levels (that's the case with aspartame for instance, the sweetener in Diet Coke). In turn, your weight loss progress might be slowed.
You can absolutely drink a soup or have a small smoothie during prolonged fasts. If you want to extend even longer, I think it would help if you didn't have to work or be around other people that eat. Not sure, though, how applicable that is for you.
Regarding the re-feeding phase: It is crucial to very slowly increase your calories, no animal protein the first couple days, either. As described by another user, stick to vegetable broth, veggies, low fat yoghurt, fruits. It helps to cut up the carrot or apple for instance in tiny pieces and then force yourself to eat one tiny piece after another, chewing each piece until it is purree in your moutgh (that might take you 1 hour but you will not overeat and be full). You can use spices like cinnamon, it's a natural appetite suppressant that goes well with yoghurt or fruits.
P.S. I got a good junk of information from this book I recently read on prolonged fasts https://www.amazon.com/Lessons-10-Day-Fasting-Retreat-Self-Healing-ebook/dp/B09QJ1371C/ref=zg_bsnr_4714_13/132-7682133-3191736?pd_rd_i=B09QJ1371C&psc=1
Not yet man. I’m in day 4. 5 is tomorrow for me.
I am worried about getting sick and dying. What are you doing for hydration?
Do you feel ill or have you almost died?

This?
The baking soda is sodium bicarbonate so it’s necessary mineral and it flushed your kidney I guess.

I think Amazon is out of stock on both but the manufacturer should still have them. I got the fasting salts delivered to Hong Kong a month ago.
Both horribly salty at first but that’s because electrolytes are basically salt. If you want to ease into consuming them try them with lemon juice or something on one meal a day and have them in the morning and slowly reduce and remove the lemon juice. On longer fasts you actually start looking forward to the salt!
It’s a local Egyptian brand But I believe
U might try this one from amazon it’s pretty cheap! here
